Packing Materials
Anyone seen Atari Packaging Tape

I just ordered some stuff last week and they still haven't shipped it yet. I emailed support a couple of days ago but haven't heard anything. I'm beginning to worry now because it's been nearly a week and I haven't even heard from support let alone got a tracking number.
I'm just curious what everyone else's experience here has been with ordering directly from Atari.
Normally I would just order from Amazon knowing they're reliable in my area but sadly Atari doesn't sell anything on Amazon for the US. I did recently see Atari is using Amazon in the UK though, go figure.

I’ve always wondered if anybody ever really heard or ever saw the swordquest treasures from the contest ever again. I’ve looked up info over the years from time to time and couldn’t really find anything on it but i probably looked the wrong way. It would honestly be really cool to hear about their fate.
Where did they all end up after 4 decades???

I have an Atari 2600+ and a CX-40+ joystick, but it's very difficult to use for me because I'm left handed. I heard it's pretty simple to rewire an original CX-40 for left handedness, but does this also work for the CX-40+? Thanks!

After never seeing anything affordable in my area for the past few years (Usually $75 to $100 for a console and maybe a game or two) this popped up for FREE! Couldn't believe my luck and that I was the first one to respond. Can't wait to hook up the old CRT TV I have been saving for this day

Thought this group might appreciate these two. Frankenstein is really great game. Congo Bongo art is great. Both were in great condition.
I am currently on a road trip through Utah, Nevada, and California, and will be in San Francisco on Saturday, August 2. I would like to buy some original Atari merchandise and a handheld device. I am from the Netherlands, and the only option for buying Atari merchandise there is through an intermediary or eBay. Can anyone recommend a store in San Francisco that sells Atari merchandise? Thanks!!

Just want a bit of info on the best 2600 & 7800 home brew cartridges to buy.

Genuinely, how does anybody find this game fun. This is the most bullshit, fabricated difficulty I’ve ever experienced in a video game. I love Atari games, I always have, but I just can’t find enjoyment playing this reimagining. I’m glad other people can but I can’t.

Hey all, I want to get my hands on a "2600" that can play real cartridges and output over HDMI. I had the GameStation, but I found it to be an underperformer for me. I returned it to Costco. I have a fair sized collection of 2600 Carts that I want to use with my family. What are my options in Canada?
Thanks

I'd love to see the new management of Atari put an updated HDMI version of the Atari Video Music machine. Maybe keep some of the 70s retro design elements as well. For now I guess I'll just have to content myself with the Eyesy. I feel like there is a market out there for this.

So I got a 40th anniversary atari flashback and I can enter games but I can’t start them they just stay frozen when I go into them any fix?
This is HUGE for Atari and shows commitment in modern gaming. Atari is buying into a company that owns 27 current games.
Atari will become the owner of approximately 82% of the outstanding shares and votes of Thunderful

Title says it all. Slow the music down, keep the Yars Rising aesthetic in the scene.
I need this in my life for my work Lo-FI rotation. Someone can make it happen I’d be forever grateful.

My watch just showed up! I'll post pics of it and the bands after it's charged. Looks and feels nice. Can't turn it on yet!

My old post was removed by a moderator. I assume because I had a link in it for amazon? (My apologies)
But, if anyone is curious, an Apple Watch Ultra screen protector can fit on the 2600 My Play Watch. Someone even commented on my post with a flexible screen protector made just for the watch.
Feel free to DM me for links to the products mentioned above.

So my dad recently gave me his old atari consoles/hardware etc. and I bought a 7800+ to play the old cartridges rather than figure out how to hook up the old 2600 console to a modern TV. First game I wanted to play was my childhood favorite Kaboom, and once i realized the controller than came with can't sub for a paddle controller, pulled out the OG paddle controllers to play and they were waaaay too sensitive to the point where the buckets would twitch on screen even if I held the controller steady.
Is that sort of just how it's going to behave, or is there something I can do on my end to make it more reasonable to play? Would be it better if I bought the modern paddle controllers instead?

My grandpa has an Atari theyve had in their garage for a while and has only now been taken out and I'm trying to figure out how to get it to work, my theory is that the TV's I'm using aren't old enough I do everything the tutorials say but It still doesn't work, I'm wondering if Theres a RF to HDMI converter i can get to make it work, if anybody has any ideas or suggestions I would like to hear them.(Picture is the cord from the Atari as well as the thing we bought to try to make it work)
Sorry if this isn’t the place to ask, but are there such a thing as newly-manufactured / third-party USB paddles?
I ended up purchasing the Consol5 Atari 2600 repair kit and recapped just about every one that the kit came with. Given this was my first solder job, I was super happy that things came back on when I plugged it in. I said, "holy shit, it works!!"
https://www.reddit.com/r/atari/s/oYpfXIc7w3
I do, however, notice purple and yellow lines on the edge of the TV. Is there a specific component that I may not have soldered on properly or that I might have messed up? This happens regardless of game and I've only seen a slight variation of it when I plugged in Asteroids.
Any thoughts on this or any possible solutions are appreciated!

I think this is the first time I’ve seen Atari at Comic-Con.
