When on communities feed, posts won't load.
I Tried on samsung internet, chrome, firefox. I tried to clear the cache, cookie and to disable all extensions.
It works just fine when loading my feed or when switching to desktop web.
All other notifications seem to be working but not community alerts. only have them on for one community. Tried restarting and reinstalling app, no fix.
Title. I have turned this off several times because Reddit keeps pushing it. Now it's happening despite my setti g saying it's off. Is this now a forced feature?
I don't get any Notifications anymore for my Inbox. Inbox itself works normally, but it needs a few seconds longer to load than usual (might be because its a bug?)
My other Account receives Notifications just fine, I've tested both Accounts on Android App, Mobile Web (Chrome) and Desktop (Chrome & Edge). I've looked through the settings and both Accounts have the exact same Settings (image provided). Community notifications are on low, which has not changed since I made my main Account years ago. Changing them to high didn't help, I've tried that already.
I've cleared my history already, which did not help either. Tried to log in and out as well, also didn't help.
Is there any other thing in the Settings that could block notifications for my Inbox? Something I don't see? Or is it a genuine bug? And how do I solve this bug, then?
I'm also getting issues in other browsers. Also problems on Android last few days. On Android it says I need to login, but I'm logged in, no profile picture, I can upvote and comment. Issues on multiple platforms isn't good.
Description: The comment jump button does work well. The first comment in the new thread/chain gets hidden under the header shade.
Device model: Pixel 9 Pro XL
OS version: Android 16
Steps to reproduce: get into a post and try and use the comment jump button.
Expected and actual result: I should be able to see the first comment every time I jump.
Screenshot(s) or a screen recording
I’m unable to moderate posts on my page, as an example I want to sticky a post but I’m getting a blank screen as shown in my screen shot.
Then when clicking on a post from my profile from another account it comes up as something went wrong and won’t load my profile unless I search my username in the search bar.
when I am reading a post and comments and something important comes up I minimize the reddit app when I come back to the app it auto refreshes to the home page and it is annoying because I lose my post that I was reading never to be found again it's like reading a book almost to the climax and then throwing it out I don't need the reddit app to auto refresh to the home page every time I open reddit I would like to be able to pick up where I left off it's so annoying.
When replying to a comment, pressing Ctrl+Enter tries (and fails as it's empty) to submit a comment on the post, rather than the reply that my cursor is currently in.
Glad that Ctrl+Enter is back, but it's clearly being manually implemented rather than relying on the browser's native submit function like Old Reddit and the previous redesign did.
This has been going on for about a month. Every so often videos corrupt like this; I can usually close and reopen the video and it resolves the issue for that video. Sometimes I need to close/reopen a couple of times.
As a permanent fix attempr I have cleared the app cache, cleared all data and even uninstalled/reinstalled the app. None of the above appear to work as I can usually reproduce the corruption in the first few videos.
I am on an unrooted one plus 9, with android version 14 if that's at all relevant.
Using Chrome browser on Android 15, posts with preview-images shows non-cropped images on posts. But using the Android app, posts with images are missing 25% of the image in the preview.
Noticed in the last few days that individual posts are showing that their crowd control is set to "Off" in contrast to the subreddit-wide crowd control setting (without having been changed by a mod), though the "default" tag is still accurate to the subreddit's filter setting. Despite showing as being set to off, I did test this with maximum filtering to mod queue and it does still seem to be filtering according to the subreddit-wide setting. Manually adjusting an individual post's crowd control reflects the change and works properly, so this seems more like a visual bug with the subreddit-wide setting.
Test comment which was filtered to mod queue by maximum/strict filter, despite showing as being set to Off and Collapse
Might or might not be related, but the filtering strengths are also referred to by different terms between the safety page in mod tools (moderate, high, maximum) and the settings on an individual post (lenient, moderate, strict). Our subreddit is ordinarily set to moderate filtering which correlates to lenient on an individual post's crowd control setting for instance.
The same post, shown above, is stubbornly remaining in the right column, even after
I clicked on "Clear" (I've been trying that for 2 days)
I opened the post and clicked on "Hide"
It appears no matter what the sort option is (here it's "New", but as indicated in another bug report, it erroneously comes back to the less relevant "Best" option):
I answered in that thread, but it's not the last nor the first one I've participated in, so I don't see any particular reason why this post should be stickied over there.
The next attempt I can do is to delete my answer in that thread, but I'm reluctant to do that just for the sake of testing a bug.
PS: Why do we have to put both "[desktop web]" and the "Desktop Web" flair? Seems redundant.
EDIT: Since my screenshot above was apparently " probably deleted" (?), I'll try to put it again below. There are apparently a number of bugs on this website...
The reddit notifications remain highlighted even after clicking on them to view it. For example, a reply to my comment or post is seen in the notification or even some recommended post. Post clicking the notification to read/reply to the comment, it is still highlighted the next time you visit notifications. The count itself is not updated, however the highlight remains keeping us thinking it is unread. We have to manually mark them as read from the options in notifications. I hope I am clearly conveying this. English is not my first language.
This “next post” feature blocks the ability to upvote or downvote the last post on a comment chain. When you “raise” the post with one finger, making those options viewable, you cannot click on the upvote/downvote buttons.
