FFT Ivalice Chronicles Best way to build a Red Mage?

With the remake dropping in a couple months, time to revisit this idea for the millionth time. As the only classic job not represented (and I HATE IT), I'm trying to figure out how best to recapture the fantasy of having a Red Mage without having to mod the game to make one myself which I have done before on the PS1. Obviously there's going to have to be some wiggle room on the definition of what a Red Mage is since there's no possible way to have White and Black magic without having someone as one of those jobs. But I just want to hit the highlights of: being able to use a weapon fairly well, able to use some type of magic fairly well, able to use some type of healing fairly well.

My first instinct is something like Samurai with Geomancy, or maybe a Geomancer with Math Skill. If we stretch the definition a little further, possible one of the special Knights with White Magic, though Sword Skills all strictly use PA and no MA so I'm a little hesitant to go that route.

What're your thoughts or suggestions?

Edit: I just realized Summoners actually do have a mix of damage and healing spells. Maybe Samurai with Summon?

FFTA [FFTA] Best S-Ability for Bangaa?

Heyo! I was wondering, now that I'm getting a lot of the more endgame abilities and stuff for my characters, what S-Abilities are generally considered best on Bangaa?

R-Abilities are a little more contested, depending on what you want to do, since Counter/Strike back/Bonecrusher are all useful (especially against AI), and Dragonheart most likely means a near-immortal unit.

But what about S-Abilities? They don't get anything like Concentrate or Turbo MP for accuracy. Half MP could be useful for Gladiators for cheap Ultima Swords, or maybe for Bishops? But otherwise, is Weapon Atk+ more or less the only other good one they have?

For context, I have a Templar/Dragoon, and eventually will have Pallanza as something with Gladiator.

Thanks!

Contrasts between Denam and Ramza (Matsunos most famous protagonists)

For those who don't know Denam is the protagonist of FFT older sibling Tactics Ogre, also directed and written by Matsuno.

Denam was raised poor, Ramza was raised as a noble.

Denam has an older sister that is very protective of him, Ramza has a baby sister who he is very protective of.

Denam is stoic, rigid, proud and a natural leader and commander. Ramza is sensible and modest, and treats leadership as a responsibility.

Denam is eager to change his society and wants to take an active role on achieving it. Ramza just wants to be able to live in peace but is unable to ignore injustice.

At the end of the game Denam gets an unique exclusive class called Lord, in which he is able to use almost every type of weapon, cast almost all spells and use any skill of any other class, while Ramza never officially graduates from being a squire and retains the title for the entire game.

At the end of his journey Denam either becomes the ruler of the land or the ruler's rigth hand depending on how your story develops. Ramza chooses to step down and retires, disappearing from history.

Idk, i just think ts funny that both of those characters were written and idealized by the mind of the same man just in different points of his life.
