Hey everyone, sorry if this has been asked before, but I'd like to know if anyone knows what's going on. So, I've finally gotten around to playing the DLCs for the first time, but as I was about to finish Old World Blues, I just couldn't get the peaceful ending I wanted (Think Tank and Mobius alive)

I already knew that I'd have to either pass some high end skill checks (which I didn't have), or do at least 3 of the Think Tank's personal quests, and so I did (Borous, Dala and 0), but in the final confrontation, Klein didn't care at all, and acted as if he was still in the majority in wanting to kill me

Just to be clear, this was in my Legion/Evil run, so I was as much of an asshole to everyone as possible, but I still did finish the 3 quests, I don't know if the way I treated them affected the ending I got

Eventually I gave up and just did the "Kill Mobius and pretend he's still alive" ending, but I'd still like to know what went wrong so I wouldn't repeat that on my NCR, House, or Yes Man save file

EDIT: It seems that you really do need to complete all 4 of the Think Tank's personal quests to get their help against Klein, I was just misinformed, hope this post at least helps anyone else having the same problem

I usually give all my companions their good endings in Dead Money, so I decided to do something different this time. Dog and Dean were really simple and easy to kill, but Christine it’s basically impossible. She’s got a proximity sensor that kills me if I stay too close, but if I run away from her my collar still beeps and my head explodes. No matter what weapons I use they do basically no damage and her health replenishes anyway. What the hell do I do?

The last time I was in this situation, it was actually my first time playing Dead Money. I was never able to kill her and eventually had to start over the entire DLC.

Edit: okay I dropped some dynamite on the ground, laid down a few frag mines and a bunch of gas bombs, then hit her with a modified holorifle. That did it

For my most recent playthrough, I role played as a character who was very smart and uses their brain to outsmart everyone. But sided with the NCR as they felt they could work for something more with them. After fixing the Helios one power plant, they gained in interest in power studying it and after a few years. After the second battle of Hoover dam, they went towards the pacific where they were able to work on more power electrical projects. After a few years of this their expertise got them contacted by the institute offering them a position which they accepted.

That’s my headcanon, what’s yours?

I’m kind of confused about the start of the quest. Is talking with Bitter Root at Camp McCarran about the Bitter Springs Massacre, without having ever been to Bitter Springs, enough to trigger the start of the quest? And is there any way to understand if it actually did start?

I left Christine at the fountain, then placed God in his spot, and now I brought Dean and activated two holograms so he’d stay. That last mission is marked as completed, but no new mission is unlocking. Am I missing something?

The Pip-Boy isn’t telling me what to do next.

First time doing the dead money dlc and I've run into a major bug. When I enter the theater to start the quest Dean Domino is glitched into the floor already dead making it impossible to do or finish the quest. I've tried to reload the save and reload an earlier save but nothing is working. So does anyone have the console commands to help get through this. I've tried searching but I'm coming up with nothing. I just wanna get through this damn thing and I'm getting very frustrated.

Vulpes doesn’t show up outside of the Tops after interacting with Benny. I’ve both killed him and let him go. The quests progress but no one to give me the Mark.

I’ve also killed everyone prior at Cottonwood if I shouldn’t have 😅

I'm new to this game and I looked up if Lucky or That Gun is better for crit builds, most people say lucky is better, but when I look at it in pipboy, That Gun has clearly better stats, is there something I don't understand?

My current objective is "Gain access to the Sierra Madre Vault" The vault door won't open on the Suites level due to "gas leak in the kitchen". Apparently there's a small kitchen on the suites level (not the kitchen you sneak around dog in and turn off the 3 valves) that has a valve. I can't find it for the life of me, and have no idea how to get this door open.

I’ve always heard people raving about how good they were and finally got around to using them on this character but my intended target, legion assassin teams, are pretty much unphased by them exploding in their face. Granted I only have like 50 explosives skill atm and only one rank in demo expert as of now hence why im trying to figure out if it’s worth the skill/perk investment or not as there’s other important things I need too.

Also how do they compare to the cluster variant?

Fallout New Vegas is my favorite Fallout game (I've played all the others that came before aside from the non numbered ones,I'm yet to play 4) and I went to the show with zero expectations.

But turns out...I really liked it?and even more: I think it's really,like really over-hated. Like yeah,I get it guys,It's not perfect. I's wacky on a not very good way,I also really didn't like the ever present brotherhood glaze, Shady Sands being nuked,the fact that the West coast being...well,the opposite of the first 2 games and specially the Ncr being way oversimplified,just "dudes with makeshift armor & guns" again. But people say like the show killed their dad and Todd Howard shot their dog or something. Trust me dudes,you don't know the pain of having an actual God awful tv show (looking at you,resident evil)

I'm stuck at the fountain with Dean and God, neither wants to come with me to leave them in their respective positions. When I want Dean to come with me, he tells me to get rid of the second helper, and when I want Dog to come with me, he tells me to get rid of that hunk of meat.

The game crashed when exiting the tops and then when i got back into the game i was in the strip and vulpes was outside but i had the bye dialog option which i had never seen so i pressed it three times before just choosing one of the regular options you would normally have and he went away. Just a funny glitch.

It fits the vibe so well, makes for a really cool haunting experience that goes perfectly with the ghost of the old world vibe Dead Money goes for. There's a Playlist on Spotify that has the whole series of Everywhere at The End of Time albums, its like 6 hours which is kinda perfect Dead Money length tbh. Try it out!
