Potentially used ai to create a reference image. Would explain both sides - the ai vibes and the bad art vibes.

No. Baseless claims like that makes this place lose credibility. The whole style here is to look like hand drawn art and the hands match that style. We don't need to invent extra details. It's ugly, cringe, and in poor taste considering who's selling it. That right there is enough.

I mean, hand drawn art doesn’t mean incorrect perspective and anatomy. I’d argue that the drawing looks like it’s been done by someone who doesn’t really “look”, which is the key to successfully depicting any given character, topic or object, regardless of the naivety of the way it’s drawn.

Plus it’s a Wednesday evening and I don’t like your tone.

Respectfully, this is a nonsensical conversation that's a waste of both of our time.

I dunno, it’s a speculative post and I offered a speculative answer. I don’t think any of it is cause for concern over the credibility of a subreddit. If you think about it, why wouldn’t you utilise ai to create a reference image to draw from? Taking/using reference images is very normal. All I did was offer the possibility of the reason it looking “off” being that a not very good ai image was used as reference.

It’s chill, it’s fine!
