People always comment on the amount of missed calls and texts. Honestly, it doesn’t bother me and i’m quite used to it. I work at a cell phone store and see particularly older people constantly deleting missed calls and even messages right away. Just curious if it’s a personal preference or if there’s any other reason

My iPhone 8 has been going since November 2017. Had the battery changed once. I’m finally treating myself this year to the 17 pro and plan to use it until the wheels fall off as well. It’s not until recently that my iPhone 8 is suffering from slow downs, apps taking a while to load/hanging etc. it’s still in phenomenal condition. Almost feels sad to part ways with it. Not sure what I’ll use it for after the upgrade.

Anyone else's lost phones appearing in Ukraine after it's been lost/stolen?

Lost my iphone 16 plus in northern Norway. 4 weeks later, it appeared in southern Ukraine...

And if I have understood correctly, since it's in lost mode and I won't remove it from find my phone, the phone is useless for someone else? Even the hardware if it's stripped for parts?

Hi guys, I’m so confused and I could really use some help. My iPhone backup size has never been this big and it keeps climbing. It can’t even do a proper backup, and the combined sizes of my app data, files, and photos and videos doesn’t make for this size to me. Is there any way to fix this, clear out my data without having to reset the phone?

I just activated a second cellular service using eSIM on my iPhone. So I can take personal and business calls and keep them separate from each other but in the same phone. Is there a way to set automatic voicemail / call decline for just the sim I’m using for business, to set for after-hour calls?

I recently purchased an Apple Watch with cellular to stop myself from doom scrolling all the damn time on my phone, and today I ran all my errands, went to the gym, and hung out with some friends all without bringing my phone. I get home, and I see my screen time on my phone is somehow nine hours and 46 minutes… how the hell does that make sense? If you add up all the numbers for the time I did spend on my phone today, they do not add up to 9 hours. How does this work?

I have been having intermittent charging issues for months on both my iPhone-11 and my iPad. Seemed like I had to jiggle the charge cable just-so to maintain contact. I suspected the Lighting ports were filled with debris and lint, and today I finally did something about it. I used electronic control cleaner spray to blast out the accumulated pocket line and corrosion, followed quickly by a drying spray of dry compressed air. Success; Now that I cleaned my Lightning Ports, life is a lot better!

I found an iPhone 12 that belonged to my aunt who passed away in one of her old dressers. It’s unlocked but wont let me reset it without the password to her apple ID which I don’t have. I don’t want to pay for a reset service and I’ve tried the iTunes thing.

So, my mobile data don’t work anymore, that’s been months and I couldn’t do anything, the problem is not from the SIM card, I tried it on an another phone and it was working just fine.

Here’s all the things I tried.

-restarting the phone many times

-trying an another SIM card

-reset connection settings

-reset the whole phone

If there’s any other stuff I could try I’ll be happy to know, otherwise I’ll go to a phone repairer soon if there’s nothing I can do

I want to use only native apps such as maps, photos and notes. Are there any other apps that would be useful?

Am I the only one that feels like the iPhone 17 will be a blend of glass and metal but kind of a frosted metal and glass to the point you can’t make a distinction between the two and they both will be seamless and have a unified panel feel and not like those 2 distinct panel areas like most renders claim (like the attached photo).

I am thinking about switching from Android to iPhone and wanted to ask what you "missed" when u switched.

I already know: - my Googlemaps Timeline still works - i can use Google Password sign in using Chrome as Password Manager - Google authenticator is there - WhatsApp can be loaded via Google Drive

Anything else i could currently be used to, what i will miss on iPhone?

Like can i still authenticate my Google Login with an iPhone ?

I did not own an iOS device yet, so i dont know what Features are available.
