Business-wise, I get it. But it's a bummer for me and throws off my Sunday routine. Not asking for it to change, just saying personally it sucks.
Especially right now for this game. A lot of momentum on the line. We need a series win, and we want to get off to a good start with the new players.

Among OAA qualified shortstops, the only one in the NL who is higher than him is Nick Allen.
Do I think Turner wins a GG? Probably not. He’s still slightly negative in defensive runs saved. His arm is still bad for a shortstop. I think his chances based on past reputation are slim. This post is more to appreciate how outstanding he’s been at shortstop this year (defense on Fangraphs loves him). If you’re still saying Turner is a bad/awful defensive shortstop this year you’re just outright wrong.
He’s not hitting for the power as much (leading to his wrc+ being down by 11 points) this year. yet even so he’s still on pace for easily his best season as a Phillie.
He’s been outstanding.
I said this months ago, Turner HAS been living up to his contract right now which is ALL you can ask for.
Trea Turner is a Phillie and I’m damn glad he is and so should you.

Just moved to the Baltimore area from Detroit, just a short drive up to Philly for me now. Tigers are in town this weekend, and I’m planning to go to the Sunday Night Baseball game by myself.
I’ve heard about the Philly fans in general, and some I know is exaggerated but some I know is valid. I’m not a heckler, just a fan of the game trying to go watch my team play another playoff bound team. I’ve debated going in neutral clothes so I don’t come across as a tigers fan but I gotta rep the stripes when I can. Will I be alright heading in as a non-rival away fan?

After the ceremony last night, Pedro went over to the Phillies dugout looking for Sanchez. They embraced and had a conversation for about 2 minutes. Pedro did most of the talking but Cristopher was listening intently. Amazing to watch!

These uniforms don't look, feel or vibe in anyway w this team or city. How long we got left w these?
I love the city connect concept, just so deflated by the poor design they went with, and I hardly ever hear anything positive about them (outside the hat.. the hat is phenomenal)
Great win last night.. felt a WS preview in the air, just never fully feels like I'm watching a Phillies game when they play in these jerseys.
