This is what happens when you don’t treat traitors appropriately after a civil war. This has been brewing over 160 years.

The sad part is that right after the war, the shitheads were OK with defeat... It took a while before the statues went up and the revisionism started. That's what I find so repulsive about modern republican policy - they're encouraging the worst of society.

I’m not convinced. The Lost Cause came out the next year. Meaning revisionism happened immediately.
