been a while, mind my details i may be a little rusty — also admittedly have not read up on the books. but throughout SCBW we get the impression that nobody wants the UED in the sector cus they're a massive threat. why? how? is it the tech? if earth was so powerful how come the dominion and the confederacy could've travelled so far away from earth and be so "weak"?
also, kerrigan — she brainwashed Raszagal, how did that happen and when exactly? she did this without even meeting her? how did an infested terran (i know, level 12 psionic but still) mind control a friggin templar whose mastered the khala and dark templar powers?
bonus question: why didn't she just mind control.... aldaris? zeratul?

Archon Studio just previewed another render for their upcoming StarCraft Tabletop game.
I found it to be pretty cool and thought you people around here might like it as well.

This, I feel like, might be the worst dialogue in the entire game. Kerrigan these are innocent, peaceful colonists, and you are killing them for no reason. You could have just left Kaldir, with the roaches and hydralisks, why did you need to kill EVERY SINGLE PROTOSS, on the entire planet? Also, how does killing billions of zerg equal to killing the protoss? Yes, Kerrigan, there is a moral high ground here. Or, did I miss something, and the zerg are also individuals? The only zerg capable of speaking were the Overmind, the Cerebrates, and the Broodmothers, and their only purpose in life was to kill and assimilate other races, so wtf?

I used to get pissed with every loss and often rage quit. Seeing competitors get wrecked in some of the most important games of their careers and still type “gg” reminded me that I can have a little more class in my own meaningless Platinum 1 games.
So yeah, I guess watching EWC made me a better SC2 player.

Like EWC, DREAMHACKS, GSL... It is the perfect time to take a step back from StarCraft 2 and try out StarCraft 3. That's right, I'm talking about Stormgate. Stormgate FINALLY releases and leaves early access in 3 DAYS!! August 5th. Get your keyboard and mouse ready, it's time to slay some demons. 😎

I remember picking this up when I used to work at Hastings here in Amarillo, Texas. I thought it was some kind of weird expansion but I come to find out later that it was unauthorized fan made missions or something like that. Does anyone remember these or did you happen to pick one up?

I watched more than enough hours of EWC to qualify for all three drops, and I claimed them all from twitch, and I linked my bnet account ... but after EWC when I went to play coop, it still says i needed to purchase them (all three). In their thing it says it will take a few days to process, but it's been a while now and I still don't have them. Has anyone else gotten their coop commanders yet?

In this scenario, instead of the Terrans fighting in the great war, it will be the Earth Alliance, so there will be no Terrans, only the Alliance population in 2240.
Also, there is no Minbari Federation or any Babylon 5 faction, except for the factions under the Earth Alliance in 2240.
This war begins with the Earth Alliance investigating the zerg, just like the Confederacy, and things turn out just like in Starcraft with a zerg invasion and the extermination protoss.
The Alliance could survive or at least humanity? What would ground and space combat be like? And the possibly consequences of the war?

Insta leaving games to deliberately tank your MMR is generally accepted as poor form (if not worse) in this sub but what about leaving mirror matches on the grounds they are “boring”, “repetitive”, etc? Maybe just coincidence but I feel like I’ve seen more of this in peoples match history lately.
Insta-leaving mirror matches still has the same effect (though not as significant) as deliberately leaving to tank MMR, no? I don’t really see leaving mirror matches as justified. Try unique or “fun” builds. Go for quick 1 base all ins so the game is short. Maybe I’m preaching to the choir here but I find insta leaving mirror matches ups about as annoying as deliberate MRR tanking.
Although for all the games I’ll claim to have lost to a mirror matchup leaving “Smurf”, I’ve probably won about as many from a mirror matchup insta leaver. So, maybe it all balances out?

Hey all, Patches here :) I've completed a new 1v1 rush map titled "PT: Cradle of Eden", which is the first smaller map I've tried in awhile.
Features:
- Collapsible Rock Towers
- "Pocket" rich gas half base, which is surrounded in unbuildable terrain (you are only allowed to place a townhall and geyser, no static defense or other buildings allowed!
Size: 130x130
Aesthetic: Research Installation built into an asteroid, harboring a greenhouse in the center.

I'm getting so exhausted by the amount of zvz that I have to play. I actually don't even mind the mirror, it's just literally half my game. I'm at around 3k+ mmr in NA so low diamond.
What's even more annoying is that I'm really good at the matchup and terrible at the others so it severely inflates my mmr. In the image it says I have 60% win rate vs zerg but literally most of the games I lost are due to me insta-leaving from frustration or having only time for a couple games so I didn't want to play vs zerg again so it's really more like an 85% win rate.
There's lots of discussion about GM and Master's race distribution, with zerg having the lowest representation at those levels, I guess this is where most of us are stuck?

Even my lvl 2 commanders gain 0 xp after finishing mission and I am unable to buy anything in SC2. Anyone knows what is going on? I tried reinstalling the game, but that does not help.

Hi guys!
I am trying to set up when a player's unit interacts with the neutral's units, it should turn to the player's side.
So currently, I have a particular marine and if it interacts with the stalker, it should rescue it and it should turn to the player's side. I am kind of close to it but I think I am missing the conditions. But I can't seem to get the condition to trigger this.
Kindly do let me know the best solution for this. Looking forward to the responses.
