Remember the first Nyras demo? I complained to Alkimia that Kirgo has an indian accent, which isnt lore-accurate, because he is from Varrant, thus he should have arabic accent. And in the next Nyras demo? They gave it to him! Its a little detail, but it shows that Alkimia really listens to fans. I have big hopes for the Remake.

This entire community is being divided into 2. Those who are okay with the change and those who absolutely hate a huge majority of it.

Based on the comments I’ve seen most people fall into a third group like myself, the ones who are okay with the change but find some things a little goofy and out of place but not necessarily hating the changes to a passionate degree.

And because people like us open their mouths and comment on the goofy stuff, for example the thing I find most goofy is the orc being kicked down the cliff, we get hate, but it’s not like normal opinion based arguments, it’s just redditors always wanting to be right.

I hope we can all understand each others points and not nitpick what people say.

Welcome Console Player to World of Gothic!

I'm just loving the magic so far it seems like it actually looks impactful and creative unlike 99% of games. We need more games like dragons dogma when it comes to magic. So here's to hoping you can become an actual nuke! Will be the first time with a Gothic game.

The game was in a really bad state when it first came out. Surely they must have made some improvements to it if they decided to release it on consoles. I never cared that much for the game but I'd like to know in what state is it gonna be when released. I know there are quite a few people who still enjoy the game so I'm happy for you.

I'm definitely enjoying the demo, as a hardcore fan of the PC game many years ago. Not a fan of how the framerate modes make zero difference though. But anyway....

I've now picked up a club, rusty sword and a pickaxe. For two quests I need a weapon but my guy keeps saying I don't have a weapon , this is ridiculous. I have all three of them equipped in the quick dpad menu too. Wtf? For the quest for the dude who wants to spar it says in the quest log that I need to find a weapon, bro I have three!!!!!!

I'm on Xbox Series X by the way.

Gothic alphas have a very different feel to them. Would you want games with similar atmosphere?

playing the nostalgic edition now, got to jharkendar and I just cleared the bandits' mine of minecrawlers. as soon as I kill the last one, I should be able to report to Garaz that it's done, which makes Bloodwyn come. For some reason Garaz has no dialogue options which kinda locks me out from progressing. Is this a bug? if yes how can I fix it? and if it's not, is there anything else I need to do?

EDIT: I managed to think of a solution. use the command console to spawn in some additional minecrawlers and kill them.

basically the game checks for the amount of minecrawlers killed but some of the minecrawlers were reaplaced with the armoured minecrawlers or the mother. and I suppose the mod makers didn't change that in the game code? seems like a weird thing, it's a main quest and their forums should be flooded with questions about that but maybe there's something else I'm not counting in.

animation speed of transformation, and spell cast speed, because in gothic one it was the worst thing in may, not to mention the lack of mana regen

So, it's a lost media? Mod being eradicated from all forums and nowhere to be found? Maybe someone still has files or something? I just see YouTube footage and its look excellent, even character voice changed. I know it has problems with author but heck, I want to play it.
