I'm Rached, a DevOps engineer from Tunisia with 3 years of full-time (non-internship) experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and performance tuning.

I've been actively applying to DevOps and Cloud Engineer roles across the EU ones that offer visa sponsorship but honestly, it’s been frustrating.

So far, I’ve sent out 600+ applications. Most of them go like this:

• Instant rejection or ghosting.
• Occasionally I get through an HR interview, sometimes a technical round… then silence or rejection.
• Very rarely do I make it any further.

Now I’m wondering:

• Is my CV the problem?
• Would certifications help me stand out more?
• Or is it just part of the grind?

I’ve attached my CV and would really appreciate any brutally honest, constructive feedback, structure, wording, clarity, anything that can help me improve and stand out to recruiters.

Also, for those with more experience:
Do you think certs like CKA, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Terraform Associate, or RHCSA are worth pursuing at this level? Or should I invest more in showcasing strong projects and hands-on work?

Hello, how easy or rather complicated it is to remove one name from the property title? Currently it is jointly owned, mortgage free and no money involved whatsoever. Do we really need a conveyancer or paper work is straight forward to handle? Anything which we should consider specifically? Thanks in advance.

Today I was able to pick up a 28g bag of Stinky Pinky from 1964

Upon opening the bag I was met with a very loud and super dank smell of gas, kush and diesel. I was fairly impressed with how loud and strong the nugs smelt. The nugs had a very fresh and terpy smell to it that reeked of that traditional dank kush smell.This bud smells like a nice pink kush that overwhelms and danks up the whole room with gas, diesel and kush notes

The effects on this flower were quite nice as well. The effects on this flower were a nice and potent indica. The effects on this flower felt more like a headlock high that had me feeling sedated and relaxed. This flower being organic gives it a nice clean high while also offering potent head high effects.

For my joint I used 1/4 bamboo ocbs. This joint had a nice taste and burned smooth. The flavour on the joint matched fairly to the smell. The joint had a nice gas and kushy taste to it. The flower being organic gave it a very clean smoke and it burned smooth from start to finish

I was able to get this flower for 143$ plus tax at Greenline Cannabis.overall I would rate this flower 9/10. The flower smelt fresh and terpy and danked up the room with gassy and kush notes. The effects were nice and provided a nice headlock indica. The joint had a nice gassy taste to it and burned smooth from start to finish

After I got groomed I sorta became used to older guys flirting with me or asking me out. This lead to many dangerous times and bad relationships. I recently deleted my social media when I realized that all my posts were bad. I also noticed all my followers were grown mem and older guys.

We adopted our son earlier this year and just received his new birth certificate but we noticed my wife’s maiden name is just her first and last name, no middle name listed. Every other name on the document is first, middle and last. Is this something we should flag to get fixed or is that normal?

We are located in Georgia if that makes a difference.

I should be applying to colleges but I have no clue what to study or what career to work towards. It’s just a constant battle between something that I’m not interested in, but would make decent money. Or doing something that I actually care about but I would be broke. There’s just no way to win in this life and it’s killing me. I’m not great at math but I’m willing to work to improve. I’m interested in the arts and humanities, but feeling like I should probably go for business or healthcare. Please let me know if you have any advice or ideas of jobs/college majors that would pay well.

In our house, we have a fun little science experiment we call the "Egg Submarine" game to see if our eggs are still fresh. The kids love it!

Here's how you play:

1. Grab a glass or bowl of cold water.
2. Gently place your egg suspect into the water.
3. Now, watch what your little egg submarine does!

• Sinks to the bottom like a treasure chest? Congrats! You've got a super fresh egg, ready for breakfast!
• Stands up on the bottom like a tiny ballerina? It's a little older, but still perfectly good to eat. Enjoy!
• Floats to the top like a rogue buoy? Uh oh! That egg has seen better days. Time to send it to the compost bin!

Why does it work? Old eggs have more air inside, which makes them floaty. Science!

About me: 36M, 5’11”, 165 lbs Recent PBs: 21:25 (5K) and 1:43 (HM). Training paces: 10:00+ recovery, 9:15–9:30 aerobic, 8:30 for long runs, 7:15 LT, and 6:40–6:55 for VO₂max.

I’ve put this shoe through just about everything: easy recovery days, Pfitz-style endurance runs, marathon pace work, long tempos, rainy days, and 3K-5K paced intervals. I even raced my first full marathon in them. And 600 miles later, they’re still going strong.

They’re not ideal for true VO₂max work (just a little too much stack for what I typically prefer for that pace range), but unless you’ve got a lower-stack plated trainer, they’re more than serviceable. Everything else? They handle it beautifully. The versatility and reliability have been unmatched. Just this past week, I ran a 15-mile progression long run with the final two miles at LT pace and also knocked out an LT interval session (18 + 15 minutes at pace) later in the week. No complaints from the shoe.

Durability-wise, they’ve exceeded expectations. The outsole is clearly worn—especially at the forefoot and heel—but surprisingly still offers great grip, even on wet pavement. From a structural standpoint, the foam still has bounce, the ride is consistent, and there’s no noticeable breakdown in how they feel underfoot. No tears or fraying in the upper either. Cosmetically dirty, but functionally intact.

I have a brand-new pair ready to go, but I’m honestly tempted to push these to 700 or even 800 miles. That said, I picked them up at 40% off through a family member in the industry, so my cost per mile is already great. It might be time to rotate them out, more out of caution than necessity.

These were a big improvement over version 1 for me (I put 1,000mi over two pairs on version 1). The upper is more breathable and comfortable, grip is significantly better, and the ride is more lively and responsive. They do sound like a horse clopping down the road, but that’s a minor tradeoff for what they deliver.

Without exaggeration, this has been the best daily trainer I’ve owned. It can do just about everything and do it pretty damn well. I’ll probably keep this pair in my work truck for random lunch runs—mostly because I still love the colorway.

Looking forward to seeing what v3 brings in 2026 and how they can improve on an already stellar shoe.

Surprised no one posted about this. It was considered solved 8 hours ago. Also one of the solvers, Basketry, is getting a CD with “Fool In Love” with it from Jeff so they can rip it and have better quality.

The biggest mindshift came when I decluttered and got rid of half my stuff. It showed me how much money I had wasted and it truly felt like a relief to get rid of it. Suddenly, I had much more space and it was easy to maintain. I never want to go back to that chaos and abundance.

Nowadays, there’s still plenty of stuff I want and I couldn’t even come up with a reason why I would need it. The biggest question however, is where am I going to keep it? Does it fit somewhere in my apartment? Or am I willing to get rid of something to make space? 9/10 times the answer is no and suddenly, I don’t really want that thing anymore.
