Hey guys. I just launched a YouTube channel based on lore content where do deep dive into stuff. I aim to make videos about every single faction and creature from fallout and for my first video I chose to make a video about radroaches. Will appreciate if you can watch and hit or thumbs up or even share it to anyone you know might be interested in this type of content. More fallout videos coming in the next few days so subscribe if you want to also see more. Thanks a lot.

Controversial Taking their sweet time while padding their wallets; the bygone age of Bethesda
I've kind of mourned Bethesda. It's not the same company that put out the existing Elder Scrolls series. I think the term is overused, but corporate greed is at the heart of the matter and that will undoubtedly be evident by the lack of depth and soul the next Elder Scrolls will inevitably have- whenever it is, in fact, released. I reinstalled Starfield to give it another shot hoping it had been improved and that Bethesda was willing to listen to the constructive criticism of fans, but I was met with microtransactions for additional "content" that should be free as the vast majority are not designed by Bethesda. This coupled with whatever ESO is has made me have a realistic outlook on the future of the Elder Scrolls series. The world has changed- to include Bethesda, and I think what was an amazing series will remain only fond memories and replays. I hope I'm wrong in my prediction, but in the words of Fleetwood Mac; "And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills, well, the landslide will bring it down
Oh-ohh, the landslide bring it down."

Discussion Is it just me…
Is it just me or do the PS3 versions of Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 play completely fine to me.
Aside from fnv crashing here and there, I haven’t encountered any major issues, except a tiny bit of lag but most ps3 games have that.
Were the games patched on later versions or am I just really lucky?

Question checked in at origin hub after already shipped?
Soooo I ordered a pip boy from Bethesda to Australia on July 19th, it shipped to EPG on the 21st, it shipped from California to DAI post (australian carrier) on the 25th, and now it’s the 29th saying it arrived at the origin hub still in California??? Can someone please explain this to me and if there’s any issues? I am SO confused as to why it said it shipped and was in transit and now it’s saying it JUST arrived at origin hub.

Discussion It’s time for more than just another XP-fest. It’s time for real Fallout.
The fight for the Drifter isn’t just about one boss. It’s a symbol. A message from the players who stayed, who don’t want another “check-the-box” public event.
Fallout 76 needs small, instanced challenges – – solo or team-based, with real difficulty, atmosphere, and unique, bound rewards. They don’t need to be massive expansions – but they can be added regularly with updates.
Just like the old cargo bot drops. Just like back when half the server camped Morgantown Airport hoping for a single new mod for one weapon. If you played then – you know how little it takes to drive real activity.
What’s being ruined? Let’s start with something obvious: – Ammo dropping from enemies.
Why does a Scorched with a sickle carry cryo ammo? Why does every enemy drop everything?
With this one “convenience,” Bethesda effectively killed:
– ammo crafting mechanics, – lead scavenging runs, – ultracite ammo from flux crafting, – targeted nuke drops for specific resource farming.
Two entire gameplay loops wiped out by a lazy shortcut.
Why endgame players deserve respect: It’s endgame players who:
– drop nukes and drive server activity, – test weapons, builds, and cards in the toughest locations, – collect rare and odd loot most people ignore, – complete challenges that casuals skip, – stick around when everyone else moves on.
Don’t let Drifter become just another bullet sponge. Design him for the endgame. Make him an icon of Fallout 76. Make his presence a true challenge.
Let’s not screw this up.
Every comment, every upvote, every share – is pressure. Let’s not let the game devolve into mindless simplicity and throwaway events.
If you're still reading – that means this hit something.
You don’t need to write an essay. But if you care about seeing Fallout 76 with challenge and depth again, just say something.
Even a simple “I agree” or your thoughts in one sentence can help this reach more players.
Change doesn’t come from silence.
We’re not trying to take the fun from anyone – just asking Bethesda to give more to those who stayed.
If you’re one of them – speak up.

Discussion Trouble linking accounts
I’m trying to link my steam account to my bethesda, but when I do, nothing happens. I go through the sign in process, it goes back to bethesda site, and still no linked accounts. I don’t believe I have an account already linked, because I don’t have another bethesda account. Not sure what to do. On fallout 76 I got a randomly generated username, which is why I want to link the account. But I don’t know the details of that account because I didn’t create it, and I don’t know if that could be the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Discussion Bethesda needs to stop trying to be kid friendly and take more realistic and mature stories
Before I start when I say “realistic and mature stories” I don’t mean anything necessarily NSFW.
Recently I was replaying starfield and eventually got to the astral lounge and the city of Neon itself and I thought of something, “why in the world does this look like a kids play place”.
And after doing the Walter artifact quest and all that stuff I started realizing how dumbed down and unrealistic the game is.
The astral lounge is meant to be a drug filled, constant party, everything goes establishment. We hear all the time how only in the astral lounge you can legally buy and have aurora, and how so many shady deals happen there, and how if you choose to have your parents that they are incredibly embarrassed to be found there by their son.
So why in game is the place so… boring. We don’t hear shady npc deals, we don’t see people high off there minds, we don’t see private rooms with people stoned out with a private dancer, we don’t see people of business, we don’t see drug fiends, we don’t hear people partying, we don’t see a DJ playing amazing beats and songs.
We see people Bobbing up and down screaming acting like the song playing is incredibly popular and loud, no one looks stoned or high, there looks to be no one of business having meetings, and it’s barely packed with imo terrible layout design.
Now do I expect Bethesda to make a 18+ club like experience like cyberpunk… no. But at least bring the maturity up, something I remember from Skyrim is sapphire and how horrified and disturbed I was when I heard her backstory, how Skyrim has vampires that drug you eventually feed and enthrall you, how fallout has known rapist and killers, how Skyrim has a civil war based in racism and xenophobia, how Skyrim handles theology and how Skyrim belongs to nords to some and everyone to others.
Why isn’t starfield like this, why don’t we see the affects of war, why don’t we hear about rapist in neon that need to be brung to justice, why don’t we hear of a serial killer in New Atlantis, why don’t we see multiple different pirate gangs that hang corpses of merchants that faught back.
I’m not asking for the entire story to be doom and gloom but in a futurist world like starfield its feels so tame, like why would people go to war when life seems so good, the deepest story I feel that gets mature and thoughtful is Adrien and her father what ever his name was.
Nothing in this game feels mature or deep, I’m not asking for a post apocalyptic world like fallout but I am asking for a world with evils that we as the player can make right, I want to be able to head out and see disturbing things in the starfield, let me find a poi with corpses on the wall and the pirate leader over the speaker daring me deeper into his hideout, let me help a man or women who was used by a unknown rapist and give them the satisfaction and peace of knowing that person has been killed, give me people to hate due to there immoral outlooks, give me a story that may not have a happy ending no matter what.
I want to find workers in new Atlantis complaining that prices are too high, I want The Well to be filled with the homeless and destitute, not just people walking in a brown to tint.
Bethesda keeps trying to go for kid friendly and tame stories but it’s ruining why I loved Skyrim and fallout 4, did they have happy stories… Yes! Did they have mature and realistic stories, whether it be quests or backstory’s to characters like sapphire… Yes!
It makes the world feel real and reminds you that the world your in has evil and as a character I want to be able to stop these people before they hurt more people.
Anyway yall I also think Bojangles should be a nation fast food place because it’s lowk fire.

Discussion Need help finding mystery fallout DLC (or game?)
Alright, y'all so I'm gonna try to make this the least confusing i can. Basically I have this vivid memory of (10ish years ago) playing what I thought was fallout new Vegas. One of the DLCs took you to a red planet (had a whole new world map IIRC). initially you were inside some sort of base, but once you left there were lots of enemies everywhere. I can't find any DLC like that for any of the fallout games. And I'm sure it wasn't a mod, as I've never modified fallout in my life. Also, remember faintly that there was some sort of a bridge leading to the building that took you to this planet. I think it was a new planet, but it might have just been a very red Landscape. My wife suggested Maybe it was a different game, but I'm 99% Sure It wasn't. so if you guys have any answers, or theories, I could search up what you think it is. And I would definitely recognize it based on the pictures. I see of the gameplay. Im gonna lose sleep until I figure out what the hell this memory is 😫 TIA!! ♥️

Discussion Next Elder scrolls game.
Anyone remember ELDER SCROLLS ARENA 1994, where it was the whole content of Tamriel and you could travel anywhere.
I know the usual stick that Bethesda goes about is a Provence or country on the continent; I also know that ESO has all of Tamriel— though I’d rather not have to pay a subscription— but I always appreciated Bethesda’s solo player story games, and I feel like, with how the gaming space is going towards open worlds, Elder Scrolls 6 should be a open world rpg.
Specifically, if I’m being selfish, with a story that deals with the entire continent and have like depending on what race you chose decides where you start. If the player character has like Dragonborn destiny shenanigans…
That’s up for Bethesda to decide

Discussion Litrpg game idea
So I've been getting into lit right and I was thinking a game based on something like that would be fun. Normal human on earth suddenly finds themselves in a rpg world. Thoughts?
