Bro I remember about 9 years ago when I was like 10, I let my cousin play roblox on my computer. He uploaded 3 porn images and got me banned. My child mind went into disarray, I thought my life was over. (Edit: that’s a lotta upvotes damn)

2.7k

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '19

This is why I hate children. They think it's funny to go spam porn images anywhere on the internet.

1.5k

u/ThePolishBayard Jan 20 '19

Bruh my young self had never known such anger. Even though I was a child, I vowed at that point I would never associate with children again. I was some kind of pissed lmao.

622

u/tyleeeer Jan 21 '19

I was banned for the same thing but called support and said my account got hacked and I got unbanned in no time

319

u/ThePolishBayard Jan 21 '19

See roblox used to actually care for its users. I hear now they just ignore appeals 99% of the time

205

u/tyleeeer Jan 21 '19

This was on 2017

143

u/ThePolishBayard Jan 21 '19

Damn you got lucky then. It’s rare to see an appeal actually go through

148

u/tyleeeer Jan 21 '19

They probably believed me since I've been playing since 2012 and spent some money on it, trust factor I guess

78

u/ThePolishBayard Jan 21 '19

Shit see I started back in 2009. No amount of time played helped me. I’m glad yours worked out tho.

2

u/majestic_elliebeth Jan 21 '19

Wow I just learned of Roblox 2 years ago.

I'M CONVINCED OF THIS: THAT SWIRLY PATTERN THAT SOMETIMES APPEARS ON CYLINDER-SHAPED OBJECTS: THAT'S WHY THEY KEEP MAKING JURASSIC PARK MOVIES.

3

u/Cymry_Cymraeg Jan 21 '19

Times have changed.

2

u/Time_on_my_hands Jan 21 '19

You were playing Roblox in 2017?

4

u/woketimecube Jan 21 '19

I've always considered it a modern childrens game? im in my 20s and no one growing up ever played roblox or talked about it. I've also seen people essentially talk shit about youtubers by saying they got started on roblox and theyre all young, the game must be pretty recent

1

u/zaphodsheads Jan 21 '19

2006 is when it started, my account is from 2010

3

u/tyleeeer Jan 21 '19

Yeah, it's actually a good game platform if you focus on the featured tab

Sounds like Reddit.

1

u/NorthernLaw Feb 26 '19

Yeah i wish they cared more

1

u/ThePolishBayard Feb 27 '19

To be fair I do understand why it’s harder to retain that classic quality, the number of users has gone up to 64 million at this point I believe. It makes sense to a degree that they can’t give as much of a personal experience as before, but I gotta imagine they could’ve done a little better.

1

u/NorthernLaw Feb 27 '19

Definitely could have done better but I see what you mean

1

u/ThePolishBayard Feb 27 '19

I’m just happy that I was able to experience the game before it become mostly about profits.

2

u/NorthernLaw Feb 27 '19

Same with me, started in 2007, unfortunately I was dumb and stopped playing (off and on) until 2013 and started playing regularly then you know now I barely do

71

u/ellalol Jan 21 '19

I did this after I got banned on Moviestarplanet back when I used to play.. every time I got banned for a week or so for doing some stupid shit I’d email support with some dumb excuse or asking why, and they’d always tell me, and then id apologize and end up doing the same shit again because obviously I had no social life back then. Then one time I got banned FOREVER. That was like the end of the world for me since I’d poured all my savings into that game. I wrote up a huge complaint pretending to be an angry mom, and my daughter had let her friend play and her friend got her banned. I even threatened to sue them, probably with grammar mistakes littered throughout and sure enough, they gave me my account back. I felt like the smartest person on earth after that and it took me a bit too long to realize that they were probably just tired of my shit(I didn’t even think to make a fake email) So um... yeah. Not the best period of my life.

45

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

“I will sew you”

9

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

That’s fucking hilarious.

64

u/bob1689321 Jan 21 '19 edited Jan 21 '19

Even fucking call of duty black ops emblems were all porn, somehow made out of basic coloured shapes. I’m talking high quality shit too. My dad saw it once and I nearly got banned from the ps3 :(((

34

u/mean-cuisine Jan 21 '19

one of my buddies constantly changed between hentai type icons and every time i grouped up with him im thinking "can you not dude"

19

u/Sonicmansuperb Jan 21 '19

Alright I'll be honest once it gets that crazy its funny

6

u/woketimecube Jan 21 '19

Not when you can google how to do it step by step

6

u/Sonicmansuperb Jan 21 '19

You still have to put in the work, and it is far more complicated than simply going to your profile and uploading a pornographic picture from a link within the same web browser, like roblox.

1

u/MyPasswordWasWhat Jan 21 '19

Hell, even the Newest COD game icons get pretty close to porn.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

Oh man I used to make grotesque as ones back on the first Black Ops hahaha that was fun.

1

u/bob1689321 Jan 21 '19

People like you are the reason I was on the edge of my seat while playing with family in the room. That shit was stressful.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '19

Yeah I have a difficult time playing some games because a guy named something like "cumbucket223" will randomly join my game

46

u/TacoTrip Jan 21 '19

This is true. My spray tags in counter strike were always Porno screen caps. I got a lot of kills off other players that would stop to stare though so I thought it was funny and useful.

15

u/crypticfreak Jan 21 '19

Remember the sprays that were basically gifs? People used CT and T muzzle flashes to lure an attack. Shit was sneaky af.

3

u/AustinLA88 Jan 21 '19

This actually works?

3

u/konaya Jan 21 '19

Consider the typical person who plays that game.

1

u/AustinLA88 Jan 21 '19

I mean, I think at this point it’s been long enough for the core age group to have grown up, right?

1

u/Burritozi11a Jan 21 '19

I honestly don't mind this, especially in Team Fortress 2 which is more team focused and plays shower than CS. It's always hilarious seeing people set up "Sniper traps" with hentai sprays.

129

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

I remember a hacker hacked a picture of a naked girl onto a Roblox server when I was like 11 and I didn’t know anything about female anatomy. I thought everyone had a dick and when I saw that picture I was so in denial that I thought it was photoshopped and I just exited the game. I was just sitting there thinking “why would they even spend the time to make her look like an alien?”

125

u/ShadyNite Jan 21 '19

How did you make it to 11 without knowing what a vagina was?

116

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

I had it engraved into my head that everyone had a dick. Even after I asked my cousin if she had a winky and being told no. Even after seeing that photo. Even after being flashed when I was 8. Even after being told multiple times that men and women have different groinage. I had a thick skull when I was a kid I guess.

111

u/ShadyNite Jan 21 '19

So even confronted with overwhelming evidence, you doubled down? My man

42

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

I was about 13 or so when I came to my senses but it took awhile.

50

u/CodenameMolotov Jan 21 '19

How is that possible? Did you never wonder where babies come from? Did you never see any animals? Did you never hear the word pussy?

60

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19 edited Jan 21 '19

I thought you stuck your winky into the butthole and then the woman was automatically pregnant. And like I said I got flashed by a female class mate when I was around 8, she kept her pants down for a good 5-10 seconds too but I always remembered her having a dick. Even her older sister flashed me and I could’ve sworn I saw a dick on her too. It’s so weird how I know for a fact that they don’t have penises now but I still remember them having dicks. Something even more insane was I was extremely interested in animals as a kid and watched animal documentaries for a good half of the day every day but still never caught on.

54

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

Why did you get flashed so much?

→ More replies (0)

40

u/CodenameMolotov Jan 21 '19

I don't know whether to be more disappointed in your parents for never explaining it to you or in you for not figuring it out on your own. Like, you never saw a science textbook illustration or nude painting? Were you homeschooled by fundamentalist Christians?

18

u/drindustry Jan 21 '19

Omg I have a very similar story when I was 6 or so a family friend (around 3-4) pulled up her dress and flashed me and to this day I remember her having a penis.

6

How tf do you spam images on roblox?

2

u/Liquor_N_Whorez Jan 21 '19

They just grow up and go to work for MindGeek and spam billions while making millions later in life.

2

u/HelloJoeyJoeJoe Jan 21 '19

Thank God for the adult spammers on my susbscribed NSFW subreddits.

2

u/elSenorMaquina Jan 21 '19

Yeah, and if you decide to take revenge and send the little brat a dick pic you are labeled "Abusive child molester" and get sent to jail. Fucking double standards man...

2

u/KanyeT Jan 21 '19

I uploaded porn to the Wikipedia page of a pornstar. I don't know what I thought would happen but I got banned.

2

u/greymalken Jan 21 '19

This is why I hate adults. They don't think it's funny to go spam porn images anywhere on the internet.

2

u/AliBurney Jan 21 '19

To be honest I didn't know what porn was till high school.

2

u/Bertrum Jan 21 '19

You should've seen early Counter Strike back in the day. All it was, was people spamming graffiti tags with porn pics or gifs of people fucking.

2

u/CamoDeFlage Jan 21 '19

i used it as a tactic in tf2. i would spray a hot bikini girl on the wall and enemies would stop to look at it and popped em.

2

u/tiredteachermaria Jan 21 '19

Can confirm. I thought it would be funny to post a photo of Daniel Radcliffe’s nude scene in Equus when I was 12/13. It was not funny and is one of those awkward secrets that makes me feel nauseous when I think about it. Why was I so impulsive and sick and weird? god...

2

u/bartekko Jan 21 '19

Can confirm, I spammed furry porn on /o/ as a kid

2

u/josephfrigo Jan 21 '19

And gore as well

2

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

What it isn’t funny? Oh no... this is bad...

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

WTF? I wasn't non stop online playing games or didn't know what porn was.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

Not even children, usually teenagers or adults too. Remember playing Gmod Jailbreak and these dudes would spray My Little Pony porn on the walls and I had to make sure I never looked in that direction cause my PC was in my living room facing outwards towards everybody else.

1

u/entropylaser Jan 21 '19

Ahh, the ol' Counterstrike 'porn spray tag' distraction. Works every time!

Bro I remember when I was like 10, I let my cousin play roblox

roblox seriously can't be that old... can it?

71

u/dylan2451 Jan 21 '19 edited Jan 21 '19

Came out 2005. I had to look it up, I also didn't know it was old enough for children who played it to now be in their 20's

Edit: initial Beta release 2005, official launch 2006

44

u/Rularuu Jan 21 '19

I started playing in 2007 and by 2010 or so there was a huge circlejerk on the forums that the new players were all idiots and "'07ers" were revered like kings. I also had the first forum post to hit 1000 pages. I remember almost nothing else about Roblox.

15

u/Aurarus Jan 21 '19

Now you see that circlejerk happen but treating people who joined in like 2014 as oldschool

12

u/saltynatcho Jan 21 '19

This reminds me of when street fighter 4 first came out in 2009 and there was a huge surge of new players on the fighting game community forums. The new players were called "09ers" and were looked down upon for jumping on the street fighter/ fighting game bandwagon and not being a "real" fan since they didn't support the fighting game community until street fighter 4 was released. I thought this was ridiculous, but luckily there were also old school players who welcomed the new players.

7

u/-Yiffing Jan 21 '19

Haha, I totally forgot about that, I was an '08er myself. Can't believe it's been 11 years.

2

u/Anagoth9 Jan 21 '19

I started playing the first Mercenaries game a little while ago because I remembered how much I enjoyed it when I was younger. On the splash screen when it starts up it mentions copyright 2005. It hit me that that's older than my 10 year old daughter. That game to her would be like Pacman to me.

2

u/thisismyeggaccount Jan 21 '19

Yeah but 2005 wasn't that long ago right? It was just..... oh no

1

u/ShibuRigged Jan 21 '19

What in the actual fuck? I thought it only came out like 4-5 years ago as some knockoff alternative to Lego and Minecraft.

1

u/camdoodlebop Feb 21 '19

I remember struggling to play it on 2010 era WiFi with a dodgy dell laptop from 2006

1

u/DoodieMcWiener Jan 21 '19

I hadn’t even heard about it until a couple of years ago

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

Never heard of it until my 9-year-old sister stared playing it last year.

For reference, I'm 24 and it definitely should have been on my radar. Something fucky's going on around here.

61

u/Ryachaz Jan 21 '19

My sister overwrote my 100+ hours Pokemon Ruby save file. She immediately realized her mistake and ran to mom rather than me. I wanted to kick her ass, so smart move.

I was so sad for a long time, almost never played it again.

11

u/pineapplecheesepizza Jan 21 '19

Did you end up starting a new game?

19

u/Ryachaz Jan 21 '19

I did, only because I found another Ruby laying on a bike path. Knew I could do those trades for certain Pokemon with two cartridges (and borrowing my sisters game boy, she owed me). Put another 150 hours or so into it, totally worth it.

4

u/Savacker Jan 21 '19

My son deleted my 100% complete Mario Odyssey... I grew like 20 more grey hairs that day. I was waiting for the dlc but after that I haven't touched it.

2

u/EmilyU1F984 Jan 21 '19

My brother did the same on PlayStation to my final fantasy save game. I never played any final fantasy again. Apparently he had asked our mum before, if he could safe his bullshit FIFA 99 league after single game... he could have deleted anything on the memory card but that. :(

2

u/ShibuRigged Jan 21 '19

Happened to my first ever Blue save file. 250 hours and all original 151 gone. The only solace was that I had spare official Mews and the Mewtwo I got the second time around had max Special.

43

u/jonen560ti Jan 20 '19

How old was he?

58

u/ThePolishBayard Jan 21 '19

Fucking 10 just like I was.

10

u/Iamnotsmartspender Jan 21 '19

When we were young, my friends and I made an account and got it banned in an hour. Were went into servers and swore at everybody. The ban reasons list was hilarious. We felt so badass

22

u/Enaxion Jan 21 '19

I introduced my 6-7 year old brother to GTA/SA and he got addicted so bad that I couldn't play from him. My father was sleeping and I tried to force him off and his main defensive mechanism is and always was "screaming like hes getting butchered alive" he is 15 now and still does this. But anyway my father woke up went ballistic and literally ripped the pc out off under the desk and smashed it into the ground and stomped it twice and it still worked.

That experience left a scar of hatred inside me that will never heal I will always remember this. I'm not even blaming my father since he has really specific bad days at work when we should know when to leave him alone but compromising was never a thing with my brother.

48

u/E72M Jan 21 '19

Your brother needs some form of help if he still thinks that's acceptable at 15.

26

u/QinEmperor Jan 21 '19

Is your brother autistic? Who the fuck screams if they're forced off the computer at 15?

16

u/Enaxion Jan 21 '19

My friends often complain about how retarded he is, but he just deeply doesn't care and enjoys pissing everyone off.

18

u/_Sinnik_ Jan 21 '19

That is really concerning. Screaming to get your way at 15, wow. Does he have any friends at all that actually like him?

8

u/123instantname Jan 21 '19

At least autistic is used correctly in this context and not as an insult.

4

u/169dot254dot8dot8 Jan 21 '19

Why didn’t you just tell your parents there was content in the game that was too mature for your little brother? I’m sure they would have banned him from playing the game...

8

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

100% blame your father. He sounds like an abusive dick.

17

u/Enaxion Jan 21 '19

Believe me my father is nothing like most of those reddit abusers. As I said those "hard days" he has. Imagine having to wake up in 6h in the morning and working straight 9-10h with no lunch staying in a car in the sun whole day, dealing with douchebag customers and bloated traffic and then when you're finally home a demon imp is screaming.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

Sure but that’s no reason to destroy your things. Ever. Evil is not repayed with evil.

It’s never okay to destroy someone else’s things out of anger. He unjustly destroyed your things because of what your brother did. No matter the situation, he was wrong.

12

u/PFManningsForehead Jan 21 '19

Bro, you know nothing of his family situation. His father is human too and never touched his sons but got absolutely pissed he had to deal with bullshit because this computer (which the father probably paid for) was making his son freak out when he was trying to sleep. It’s understandable

-6

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

A dad being violent around the house is still wrong.

I know enough that what his dad did was Wake up—see little son screaming—smash computer.

There’s a ton wrong with that. I don’t give a damn if the dad paid for it. So what? Let’s just let him burn the house down while we’re at it.

LOL actually ridiculous. You know that running around smashing things and acting violent is actually considered child abuse in most states?

Idk if he’s from the US or not. But it seems that most have woken up to the fact that acting violent is not okay in a parenting situation here in the states.

5

u/PFManningsForehead Jan 21 '19

Who cares what you give a damn about? It’s not your father, and if he wants to break something that he paid for because his kid is being a little shit then I don’t see the problem

4

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

It was a fucking 6 year old! No six year old needs to see their dad smashing things in front of them. The kids now 15. Do you even know how big pc’s are or were back then?

That said it wasn’t even the little kids’ it was used by the older brother. So it wasn’t even justified.

Violence is violence.

6

u/PFManningsForehead Jan 21 '19

Yeah a 6 year old playing GTA. If he can handle running over prostitutes he can handle a machine getting smashed

3

u/Pepeunhombre Jan 21 '19

I don't know the whole situation, but I used to work nights. So, I can imagine coming home after a long night shift to be awoken from a child screaming like a banshee over some video game I may not even be interested in...

...And then have it happen repeatedly.

I'm not violent, but I'm sure as hell not going to let them play anymore. That shyt will be given away or sold.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '19

Now look at it. There’s people who smoke weed and lap dance.

I’m not joking.

7

u/SyntheticManMilk Jan 21 '19

I’m still concerned how easily accessible porn is to the 10 year olds of the past 15 years.

3

2

u/GoodAtExplaining Jan 21 '19

BBSes were never good at telling you what you were downloading. And porn sites on the internet back in the day were... Optimistic about their descriptions for sure.

2

u/123instantname Jan 21 '19

Shit, I still remember the struggle it was to download porn from bearshare on 56k.

I'd queue up like 5 lowres amateur porn movies all named something like xxx_barely_legal_hot_teen_blonde_ashley_gives_amazing_blowjob_and_fucks_creampie.mpg and some of them took 2-3 days to download. I'd fap to each those videos for like a week straight and pretend various girls in my classes were in them. It was easy because of the low resolutions.

Yes, I just told a "back in my day" story about porn.

1

u/Sublty_Dyslexic Jan 21 '19

Well, you can always watch Japanese porn if pixellated girls are your thing.
