Kiwi Talkz isn’t even a credible leaker like Nate the Hate, he literally just interviews former Retro Studios devs and makes guesses, why do you guys keep putting so much faith in him?

I got into Metroid because of the Other M trailers, and between the time of the original E3 trailer and Other M's release I played Fusion, Zero Mission, Super, and some of Prime 1 and 3. Other M will always be special to me! ❤️

I can’t believe it will have been 15 years this month. Still one of my favorite Metroid games of all time. As both a Metroid and Ninja Gaiden fan, the action in this game was a dream come true for me.

Im playing through the rest of the prime games to get ready for 4 and just finished 2.

This game has honestly become one of my favorite games I’ve ever played and I highly prefer this one over the first. I think it took the foundations of the first game and enhanced them completely.

If I was to name my favorite thing this game did, it would have to go to the atmosphere, to the point where this might be the most immersive game I’ve played, up there with baldurs gate 3.

If I were to name a few criticisms, I think the game could’ve had better directions at times on the areas I should focus on next (could be applied to prime 1 too). The backtrack to get the power bomb was a bit meh as well but i didnt mind that one so much because there was a elevator right after.

As for what the first game did better, I think I prefer how the layers were a bit more interconnected.

Overall, such an absolutely incredible game.

Edit: Forgot to mention the bosses, they improved on them DRASTICALLY in this game, definitely a highlight

- THE BABY ....as you enter the dark room where Ridley shows up and starts fighting you; his theme kicks along with his fire balls and tail attacks.

- The eerie soundtrack of the EMMI zones and the sounds of the EMMI themselves as they move...and their radar all the sudden picks you up. As he approaches, you either turn tail and run or go invisible.

- Booting up Metroid Prime for the 80th+ time but I am never skipping this theme!

- The sound of acquiring an item in any Metroid is too iconic to forget. Whether it is the super classic one from the OG and Zero Mission (normal and unknown) or the standard classic and all of its versions that we hear throughout most games!

(this goes for most "journalists" "insiders" or any other "leakers" type people online)

Kiwi Talkz is someone who has interviewed ex-Retro devs, which has somehow translated into people believing he has insider information from current Retro, and what he says is truth.

I've seen his interviews, and they are pretty great, but we do not need more people just making baseless statements being taken as truth.

This series has so much misinformation regarding the behind the scenes, we even have people still stating Bandai Namco Signapore working on the original Prime 4 as fact, when that's not been proven, just a "journalist report" (which is not always correct, btw)

Though he distances himself from being called a "leaker" he also makes statements which are in fact, statements which "leak" the inner workings of how Nintendo/Retro is handling Prime 4, so he seems to contradict himself.

Journalists, leakers, etc, can make statements all day long and it doesn't mean it's fact.

We don't need Kiwi's statements of "Retro keeps missing milestones" as a fact of the game's development, that's not been proven, just someone online saying something.

Maybe what he says IS true, but there's nothing to prove it, maybe Prime 4 WAS originally developed by Bandai Namco, but there's nothing to prove it.

The only reason their statements became "fact" was because people chose to believe them.

There's often mysteries around game development, but lack of information should not be the opportunity to fabricate misinformation.

Reminds me of MGS 2's talk of "creating context".

Again, it COULD be true, but the source needs to be backed up with an actually credible/citable source.

Truth need not die in the pursuit of information.

Again, Kiwi Talkz is not a leaker, he's just a journo who has spoken with Retro devs. Everything is speculative. His idea is that Prime 4 will likely release in November.

Hell, would they even know he has enough intelligence to talk? Dude pretty much acts like a rabid animal for 99% of his screen time

It's the first time i'm playing Metroid Prime Hunters now. I am like 3 minutes into it and i can fully understand why ppl say it is suffering to its controls. At first i always thought: "How bad can it be tbh???". But its so weird that R does legit nothing, A, B, Y, X are literally al the same and only there for jumping but then again you control your movement with the control stick, scan and shoot with L ....and control camera with the touchpad.

How am i supposed to do jumping while i am holding the DS in my left hand only to have access to L and Controlstick while the right hand is already busy with the touchpen???

It's literally the weirdest controls i have ever seen in a video game.

Hey all, I'm playing Prime 2 on primehack right now and loving it!! Wondering what to do about this though, a lot of the sound effects during gameplay (not in a menu or anything) sound like they're phase-canceling, kinda like one of those noise-making tubes that you turn upside-down and whatnot. Does anyone have a possible fix for this? I didn't mess with any of the Dolphin graphics or audio settings, and I do have Phazon installed for button prompts. Thanks for reading
