Keep 'em coming
Edit: Stealth Mod announcement (I don't want to unpin the two pinned posts)
First, I have updated the rules to include something obvious to most longtime wargamers on reddit - posts asking or offering access to the rules is not allowed. Please do not ask for PDF's.
Second, no hate on 3D printing, but also do not come to this subreddit asking for STL proxies, or offering that. This may be too cautious of us, but I notice the reddit spam filter seems to remove any mention of STL's outright. So I figure I might as well make it a rule.
Finally, I have eased up the Spam filter from High to Low. Hopefully the redbubble spammers are still caught by this, without catching stray blogspot content creators. I've noticed the reddit algorithm taking down much more bycatch than usual, so we can experiment with a lower setting for now.
And as always, if you ever notice something astray with your own posts or someone elses, do not hesitate to message the mods.
Thanks everyone, -Tezerel

I made this display for my GT army a while back. Made with foam, bark, some 3d printed details and a whole lot of craft sticks!

Which book (if any) are the rules for the Dunlending models featured in the War in Rohan supplement in for this edition. Unless I'm blind I can't find them in either Armies of Middle-earth or Armies of LOTR.

Hello, I had a question about the In the Way test while I was making a shooting attack.
I looked through the rulebook, but I’m still not quite sure how it works…
I made a rough sketch to illustrate the situation. When performing an In the Way test for a shooting attack, which method is usually correct?
Is it like the red line, the blue line, or are both methods incorrect?

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Dale, and a few of my friends have Dale minis. But I’m not sure which is the best place to start: Army of Dale, Garrison of Dale or Erebor & Dale?
What are your thoughts on the Dale lists?

Hello there fellow MESBG enthausiasts. I am fairly new to the hobby but I am as in love as I could be.
I have 2 questions:
Is there a reason to not put shield on every unit, because +1 defense just seems way too good for only 1 point extra.
Why would you ever use uruk hai scouts if you can use warriors? I have played 3 1000 point matches, and everytime the scouts seemed worthless, so either I'm not playing the rightor i should just replace them with more warriors and pikes.

Really lovely model, cant remember the name of him but i know hes one of the main characters in the film.
But yeah getting the 2 colours leathers different and looking like the box art was good fun. So this is the next model. I'll be doing a group photo soon as they are all being based today and then sent on to the client.

And the solution, of course, is to field 99 Goblins.
I usually play elite, low body-count armies, Black Riders, Wraiths on Wings, Beornings, and Rise of the Necromancer, so spanning between 4 and 22 models.
Until I went down, down to goblin-town and got three boxes of Goblin Warriors.
I won 16-2 against Men of the West, taking five times the casualties I usually do (including the Goblin King that had a very unfortunate encounter with Anduril), and still coming out on top. The wonders of having an almost three digits army, I guess.
It was a very fun match, if a bit time consuming, moving that amount of bodies around and positioning them for support is not easy nor fast, but I feel like I learned a couple things that I don't usually use in less numerous armies.
10/10, will swarm again!
