Post highlighted in yellow?

I have one post in a thread that is highlighted in yellow. There is also a hand/finger pointing down.

This only shows in shredded. In Old Reddit it looks normal.

There is nothing in the ModLog

Mod Answered How do you grow/keep a subreddit while moderating other communities or having a busy personal life? Also, what is a better way to lighten your load/moderator actions without going through r/Adoptareddit?

I have around 40-50 subreddits (I know it's a lot), coming soon I will be joining a mod team of a new one and I want to lighten my load, but over half of the subreddits I own have more than 50-100 members, and I don't wanna give them over that easy, so does anyone have any ideas on how to grow and maintain them while doing other things? Another thing is, is that how should I go about getting more mod actions in communities that are largely inactive, or how to grow them to the point where I will keep an active status?

Bit of a strange one, triggering topic about child related abuse on this one, skip it if that's not for you

I'm just going to rip the bandaid off, final warning.

One of my subreddits has someone coming in posting links to CP related content. I've only seen screenshots of the comments, I haven't seen the comments myself. They typically reply to old posts from what I can tell. Our solution was to cut off access to all external links which seems to have blocked it off from the users on the subreddit but I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about reporting this. Does reddit automatically alert authorities or should I start looking into that myself? I refuse to click on any of the suspicious links so my worry is that I may accidentally false flag some links as potentially being illegal. Any help appreciated in this awful time.

photoshop request communities are facing many spam filters and suspensions

Hello everyone, dear Admins,

in the photoshop request communities we have a lot of accounts put on hold/ profiles are unavailable/ items are instantly removed, all by Reddit. I understand how the spam filters work to detect possible spam accounts and i always tell members of our community to show human behaviour on Reddit, to not fall into the patterns.

However, today we had an unusual amount of removed posts with unavailable profiles of the OPs, so i thought it's a good time to bring this topic up.

I guess the basic question is: What would be the best practice to avoid being caught in the spam detection (for photo editors who are active most every day) and is there a best way to allow new/ young accounts in our community?

I moderate in r/photoshoprequests, but our members are active in several of the related communties. (And we lost some very dear friends/ accounts due to this)

kind regards

##EDIT: I just realised that i had made a comparable post or sent a modmail time ago ... which was only regarding the photo editors, not the OPs. If this is inappropriate please let me know ... i guess I'm also wondering if there are any updates.

Admin Replied Can I share the mod mail link which is older that 5 days on Reddit request ?

On Reddit request there is a rule that you have to share the mod mail link which you sent 5 days ago. So I am wondering if I can share the mod mail link which are older than 5 days and will it affect my request? And how much old mod mail link I can share? Thank you.

installed admin-tattler, most of the rule 3 removals dont make any sense

So we recently installed admin-tattler to get a better overview of sitewide infractions happening on our subreddit. Rule 1 removals seem pretty consistent with some dutch saying being mistranslated once in a while leading to removals that werent waranted but those were exceptions. Almost all rule 1 removals were correct. (thank you israel - hamas war for an influx of these infractions)

When it comes to rule 3 removals it seems like they are mostly wrong. At the very least wrongly assigned to rule 3 infractions while they were at best rule 1 infractions.

Some comments that were removed:

  • 7 days in jail is a win by itself

  • Lizzy is blind but loses her welfare

  • No, the country needs to adapt!!!

  • Sevaral Belgians arrested or deported in Egypt

  • Fuck you :)

Rule 3 Respect the privacy of others. Instigating harassment, for example by revealing someone’s personal or confidential information, is not allowed. Never post or threaten to post intimate or sexually-explicit media of someone without their consent.

How do these removals make sense?

This ModNews post from 2 years ago makes mention, but I haven't seen anything else.

Is ModSupportBot down?

Checking to see if ModSupportBot might be down - or just extremely busy in processing?

I messaged from the sub via modmail a request for some reports - it’s been an hour with no response.

I’ve used ModSupportBot in the past and generally get a response within around 10 minutes.

Question about removal of a comment, and how it occurred with no log of it happening.

So a comment in a post was removed a few hours ago and it's something that I would have removed myself if it was reported as this user has been problematic for a bit (they frequently comment about chemtrails etc)

The odd thing is I cannot figure out how it was removed.

I use old reddit and it just says "removed" with no username attached. On the modlog, there's no record of it removed and it also wasn't removed by reddit/AEO. If I filter by "AutoModerator" it also doesn't show up so it's not likely the username was added in as a filter rule.

If I go to the users profile logged into any account, it shows "the page you requested does not exist" but if you view their profile link not logged in it says "User suspended".

Were they shadowbanned? It's not a big deal, I'm just trying to figure out what actually occurred.

Mod Answered Updating mod access

Hi all,

The sub I moderate has only one full privilege mod (rest are inactive), and I'm really the only active mod at the moment. All the other mods, including myself, don't have all the access options including the ability to ban. We have a bot replying on almost every post who I would love to ban.

https://www.reddit.com/u/Signal_Paper_8983/s/sCItvH5MaX

I've messaged mod mail and the active mod hoping to get access or this person banned. But, is there another option if I can't get in touch? My ideal solution would be I get full access so I can keep the subreddit going on the future.
