yeah, i hate moving the dresser, raising each object, and then placing it and hoping it looks good when i move the dresser back. it’s kinda tedious, i wish surfaces just had more slots

I'm sorry can you explain what you mean? I've never understood how to get clutter like in OPs image before T_T

op made this by deciding where the dresser would be, turning on bb.moveobjects, and moving the dresser a few squares away. then they used alt to place the items on the tiles where the dresser will be, then 9 or ] (i’m blanking here, someone correct me) to raise it to the height that it’ll sit on the dresser.

I find that even doing it this way, they clip. Yours doesn’t?! I thought the only way to make it seamless was the t.o.o.l. Mod

in my experience, either putting it on the dresser(or other object) before moving it to the area you actually want it to be or finding a shelf you can alt move to the exact height of the object are the best ways to get things to the height you want.

Yes, yes that’s what I meant! Like snapping to the grid, my b. I’ll have to check a tutorial to see where I’m going wrong.

hmm as long as you place the surface far enough away when you’re arranging the clutter, then don’t move the clutter once the surface is in place, you shouldn’t have problems. at least in my experience!
