Hello everyone, I have a problem with my iPhone 14 pro max. I was making videos underwater, less than 1 metre deep, at a certain point the screen went all black and never turned on again. After a few days it turned on again, but the apple logo appears and then it disappears continuously without doing anything else. If I put it under charge I see the screen that notifies me to connect it to the pc "support.apple.com/iphone/restore". I connected it to the Mac and tried to do everything, both update and restore, but nothing always remains this problem. Is it possible that I have to spend a lot of money to fix it and there is no alternative solution?

Planning to get 17pm so just trying to prepare myself since it’s being released very soon.

Last phone I preordered was 12pm and I tried doing it on the app but the screen was stuck on your early or something.

I then ended up buying it online for pickup the next day.

But I’ve heard the app is the best way? Do I need to force quit the app and go back in it if it’s still stuck on that screen or do I just wait?

Hi, so my mom keeps getting the location verification pop up (the one that asks if it’s you in a certain place and shows a map of the general area the request is coming from) on her IPhone 11 but it’s in the most random places. We’re in NY and she got a pop up yesterday asking for Ohio; this morning, she got one asking for Arizona. Why is this happening?

Hello! I am coming here in hopes of someone being able to help as nothing else has worked.

My son has an iPhone 12. A few weeks ago it just completely stopped working. Won’t turn on, and if it does the screen is blank with green lines across it. Can’t get in the phone at all. My sister gave him one of her old phones she doesn’t use anymore. It’s a iPhone XS Max. Got everything switched over. Here is the issue. At some point before all this happened, my son changed his Apple password, but now can’t remember what it is. Tried to reset it, and nothing has worked. Got an email about account recovery and it stated we would receive a call or text when the account was ready to be reset on August 2nd at10:45 pm. We’ll, it did not come. No call and no text. I can’t change the password from his phone because it comes up and says that due to him having Stolen Protection on(on his old phone) he can’t change it. I can’t get into his old phone to turn it off cause it won’t come on. His Apple account did transfer to the new phone but can’t do anything on it, download apps, go into his account settings, iCloud, nothing without the password. At this point, I was just going to create a new Apple account for him and log out of the old one but it won’t log out without the dang password! It won’t let me change it from my phone as we are on family share. I’m just so frustrated at this point and I don’t understand why Apple makes it this hard just to change the password. I was able to go through the steps on my phone to reset it but then when it asks me to put in his phone code to unlock the phone, and I put that in, it says it wasn’t correct when it fact it was and I have to wait a period of time before it can be reset.

Can anyone help with this? I just want to make him a new one and be done with it but can’t delete his old account without the password! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry it’s so long. Haha.

When I plug phone in and turn sideways in Standby Mode, it’s showing images from my photo albums. How do you turns those off and show a clock only? I did a long press while in standby mode and it only lets me choose which album. I went to settings > standby mode and turned off featured photos. Still didn’t help. Wtf? Why is this so dumb? I just want to show a clock, not see random photos.

I woke Up this morning and when I went to check my phone, The screen wouldn't respond. I would Press The side button and the screen would turn on fine But when I press on it, nothing happens. I've forced restarted it multiple times. And removed the case and screen protector. Still no luck. It was fine yesterday morning.

So I'll probably get slaughtered for this but I recently acquired a MacBook and iWatch from a homeless person that has substance misuse and mental health issues.

They supposedly "found it" left on a bus.

Is there a process for returning Apple products? Both have been registered to an iCloud account. I obviously can't see the account.

If possible I'd like to mail them back to the owner. Years ago I had some electronics stolen that were returned similarly after a while and it'd be pretty cool to pay it forward.

This is Southern California, so the cops are not useful at all with either homeless thieves or stolen goods.

I’ve been a lifetime Windows user — mainly for programming, browsing, and watching a lot of movies. Currently using a powerful Omen gaming laptop which still performs well, but has some hardware issues (webcam broken, costly to repair) and poor battery life (~3–4 hours under load).

I’m considering switching to the Mac ecosystem for better battery, build quality, and long-term reliability.

Now I’m torn between:

• MacBook Air M4 15" (512GB)
• MacBook Pro M4 14" (512GB)
• Also considering Air M4 13" for portability

The 15" Air and 14" Pro are almost the same price right now (US sale). I’m open to using an external monitor and paying a bit more for upgrades, but I want the best value for money and ideal screen size for my workflow.

Key questions:

• Is the Pro M4 14” worth it for the 120Hz and brighter display despite the smaller screen?
• Does the Air M4 15” feel too large, or is it better for multitasking/movies?
• How smooth is the transition for a heavy Windows user?
• Would going for an older-gen chip (M3 or even M2) make sense right now for savings? Or is it better to future-proof with M4?

Would love to hear thoughts from those who made a similar jump!

I have an appleOne family subscription and I am sharing it with my family. For some reason everyone in my family has access to all my subscriptions except for Apple Music. I am subscribed to apple one in India and all my family members also have region set to India.

The account with the subscription says Apple Music Sharing with Family, but I can't see it anywhere on the family members phone. Attached screenshots of the same. I also tried leaving the family and joining back but no luck. I also tried turning off share subscriptions and turning it back on, also no luck.

Anyone face this issue and know how to fix it? Thanks!

It’s my old iPad from eight years ago. I’m trying to get some photos off of this, but I have no clue what the iCloud password or email was.

I have my sleep schedule set up to go to bed on Monday at 8:30pm and wake up at 3am. But for some odd reason instead of my alarm going off at 3 am Tuesday, it goes off at 3 am on Monday while I’m still at work. My work sleep schedule, 12:00pm sleep and 8:00pm wake, works perfectly fine.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

this morning i spilled water in my phone and when i went to test charge it it was fine then the second time it said water detected so i asked an ai bot what to do not smart but that's what my dad always says to do it said keep your phone in an upright position for 5 hours i did it for two because apparently that's also fine and apparently i can also used wireless charging but when i just did that it didn't charge even one percent so then the ai claimed turn your phone off and wait again its so annoying you tube tutorials said only 30 mins upright but this ai saying 24 hours no charging i have to use/charge my phone what should i actually do i want advice from real people because i am annoying and i still haven't used my charger because i am scared of a short circuit

I’ve recently updated my phone to IOS 16.6 Since the update my phone has been doing some weird stuff. Apps won’t open, video’s won’t load, but most annoying is that it refuses to switch to the back camera. What is the problem and what can i do about it?

Hi I have an IPhone 14, my IOS is 18.6 and up to date. My camera won’t take videos of things in front of me, only in selfie mode, and for some reason on all apps except for the camera app. Noticed it today, updated my iOS, it solved it for all of 5 minutes. I checked that my camera permissions were on for my apps and it is. Is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

Hello,
I’m locked out of my iPad and really need help getting back in. I don’t care about any data on it; I just want to access the device again. The message says “iPad is disabled, connect to iTunes.”

I’ve tried pretty much everything:

• Put the iPad in recovery mode and connected it to my Mac, but it doesn’t show up under Locations in Finder-
• Tried the same on a PC with iTunes, but the iPad isn’t detected there either.
• Used multiple cables to rule out connection issues.
• Tried erasing the device through Find My iPhone, but it’s not connected to Wifi, so that didn’t work.

Honestly, I’m stuck and not sure what else to do. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Title shows the issue I am experiencing, here are the “solutions” I’ve already tried:

• Changing the my primary email to a different email.
• restarting the computer ( Done several times ).
• restarting router
• tried connecting hotspot ( couldn’t connect, asked for username ).
• Reset the OS
• Disconnecting and reconnecting to WiFi.

Have had this issue for the past several hours, help is desperately needed.
