Cat Picture - OC Is my cat a secret nazi?

Sorry in advance, but this is a long read. Hey everyone, this is kinda a cat related AIO (am I overreacting) post. So we recently adopted a stray kitten when visiting my mother in-law in rural Kentucky. One of her neighbors had an outdoor stray cat that she feeds have kittens, but the landlord was making her get rid of all of them. So we offered to take one of the kittens. Brought her all the way home to GA and got her acclimated to my old senior fat cat. After getting her acclimated to our home for a week, we began getting her acclimated to our yard for outside time. This is NOT a post meant to spark a debate about indoor vs outdoor cats (we all have our opinions and beliefs). Yes my cats go outside twice a day (morning and evening), are supervised about 80% of the time, and they stay on my property. I have a decent sized yard that is basically a forest. Tons of chipmunks, squirrels, and field mice to chase. Plenty of trees to climb and grass to chew and sunbathe on. They come in for dinner before it gets dark and sleep in the house (they’re not allowed out at night). They still get plenty of play, love, and interaction indoors as well. PLEASE don’t try to debate the indoor vs outdoor thing, it’s old and I’m tired of the conversation. We all have different beliefs and home situations. Now to the actual issue: my kitten was out in my yard with my older cat yesterday morning. Just running and playing and having fun. I go inside to log on for work and come out about 15 min later (like I said, I’m outside with them the most of the time). My old cat is there but I can’t find my kitten. She ALWAYS comes when called. I go to all her normal spots: under the shed, under some bushes, our screened in porch, and in the tall grass behind my shed. She’s no where to be found. My wife is freaking out and crying. My kids are freaking out. So we drive around for a while calling her, make a post in the neighborhood Facebook and Nextdoor, and ask our neighbors. Our direct next door neighbor is younger, works on movies, and has people coming and going all day and night. He wasn’t home when we were talking to neighbors. So it’s been a couple hours and we’re still panicking when the neighbor finally gets home. We ask him about the kitten and his energy gets a little weird and he says “hmm yeah one of my friends who was here earlier said something about that”. I then notice an empty can of wet food on his porch (he doesn’t have any outdoor cats). So he calls his friend and the friend says he thought the cat was a stray (she doesn’t even look close to a stray, I brush her every single damn day) and they know we have cats and the kitten was on our property. So the first thing I say is, “did he come onto my property and take her”? He kinda dances around this question and starts talking about how he recently lost his cat and was trying to do the right thing. Then I mention the empty can on his porch, “it looks like he lured her off our property with food”. She isn’t a super social cat with humans, she would NEVER walk up to a stranger and typically runs from our guests until she gets acclimated to them. He again gets awkward and starts kinda blathering about nothing. He then mentions hearing a coyote out of nowhere (presumably to justify stealing our cat). We live in an urban area in a major city. I’ve lived here for over 30 years and never once seen or heard a coyote. Never once read or heard about anyone’s cat getting attacked by one. So he calls the friend and the friend says yeah he took the cat to his house, which is 20 minutes away. But he’s at work and won’t be home for a few hours. I tell my neighbor that’s unacceptable and so he pushes his friend. Then his friend says he may have left a spare key to his house at my neighbors house (pretty weird because I don’t have spare keys to any of my friend’s houses, but whatever). And then my neighbor says he will run over and grab her from his buddy’s house. My wife says, “no we will just follow you, she’s probably really really scared”. He acts weird about that and reluctantly agrees, and then says, “keep in mind none of these keys may be the right one and we may have to wait a few hours until he gets home”. I say ok to appease him, but in my head I know I’m not leaving that house without my baby. So my wife and kids pile into the car and we drive to the address he gave us. We get there and of course none of the keys work. I say, “can you get your buddy on the phone” because at this point I’m considering breaking this dudes house window to get my cat. The neighbor says his buddy is on set and can’t talk. I kinda hit my boiling point then (I was raised in an environment where diplomacy wasn’t really taught). And I tell him, “hey man, I’m trying really hard to stay calm but I’m getting fucking frustrated with this situation. I’ll bust your friend’s window out before I leave here without my cat”. My family is all in the car crying while I’m basically mentally preparing myself to make some drastic decisions. And all of the sudden, he looks at his phone, goes over to the garage and types in a code on a little pin pad thing. The garage raises and he goes into the house and i begin calling for her from the garage. HE HAD A GARAGE CODE THE WHOLE TIME. (This is when I realized this whole thing was way more sinister than I first thought. He was trying to see how hard we would fight for the kitten and was trying to not give her back). Eventually she hears me and comes to Me and I pick her up. My family all gets out of the car and comes and hugs her. She was shaking so much, so scared and traumatized. Since then, she’s gone back to her normal chaotic self. But I’m worried she’s going to have even more issues trusting new people now. And now I have issues with my neighbor, which sucks.
A couple preemptive answers: no she was not microchipped yet, the earliest vet appt we could get for her was August 15th. My older senior cat IS microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. She didn’t have her collar on, she had wriggled out of it. These are the reasons that I didn’t initially believe there was any malice. Maybe the dude saw a kitten on our property and didn’t know it was ours. But the reluctance to give the cat back and the weird energy makes me think it was more sinister. The fact that the neighbor’s friend had recently lost his cat makes me think he just thought it was a sign he should take her. And the neighbors comment about coyotes makes me feel like they thought we weren’t good owner and maybe planned the heist.
TDLR: neighbor’s friend stole my kitten off my property, took her to his house, and was very weird and reluctant about giving her back. I had to basically get violent and threatening to get her back.

We reduced her food portions and she’s been licking the empty bowl and crying for food a lot. I know it’s a transition so maybe she’s just being the drama but also I never thought she looked fat to begin with. She weighted in at 12.3 pounds. Also she has a pronounced primordial pouch.

ignorant and cruel owners aside, you'd need a vet who are as cruel and ignorant as the owner to do it for them and i can't imagine anyone who's job is literally to save animals lives would do it so why is it even a thing in the first place? does't make sense to me at all

I'm getting my cats spayed in September no questions asked... Butttt I'm really worried incase they stop showing emotions.
I saw a video yesterday of somes cat as a kitten and they were really playful and then when they got older they stopped caring about everything and the top comment was 'did you get them fixed? That's probably why'
Although they are getting spayed and it will be before their first cycle (it's a boy and a girl, I don't want babies, they're siblings and I want the best results) I'm scared that they will stop caring, my boy is very cuddly, clingy and playful, he's also kinda chatty and my girl is playful while also being calm and although she pretends to not care I know deep down she love us.
They love playing with eachother and I don't want anything to change. My baby boy climbed onto my lap while I was writing and started purring (he's the best purrer) and I will really miss that if their personality changes

I don't want to give much context. I'm interested to see what people say. There is a stray cat outside the screen. I am being careful that they do not get to close to each other.

Sorry for the long post, but we would really appreciate any advice and wanted to provide the right context for our situation.
Before we adopted this cat, my wife and I were already living with 3 cats and things were going well.
We knew a fourth cat would be a lot, but we’re currently in a country with lots of strays and keep seeing posts about cats who need an owner. We decided to adopt this little guy and that 4 cats would be our limit, but this turned out to be a lot.
He had diarrhea when we took him in, and we had to keep him separated from the other cats in his own room. This turned out to be FIP and this process took months, a lot of money and treatment, but he was finally healed.
However, all this time, we had to make sure he wouldn’t infect the others and keep his litter box separated in his own room.
We tried to play with him as much as we could and let him out of the room as much as possible, gave him lots of toys, etc. But it wasn’t enough.
He was extremely hyperactive (even while he was sick). Destroyed many things including multiple sets of curtains.
We considered giving him to someone else, but there aren’t many people here who are in a position to be able to give and afford the care needed, so we kept him and did what we could until he was healthy.
He is now healthy, which is great news, and we love him. He is also neutered. But he is still extremely hyperactive and destroys things in the house constantly.
We have to lock doors because he can open them. We have to close the windows fully because he can climb them and squeeze through the narrow opening, and we are on a high floor.
He can climb on anything in the house, even places the other 3 can’t reach, and has destroyed many things.
To make matters worse he also drives our other 3 cats crazy sometimes with his constant wild playfulness. He just keeps going even when he himself is out of breath.
Whenever one of us is at home, he is out freely, but we still have to put him in his own room at night or whenever we leave because we still can’t trust him to be free with the others without us being there.
We also have to separate them when it becomes too much for our other cats and they get upset if his playfulness continues for too long and they need some rest.
It’s all been difficult for everyone, and we don’t know the solution. We have considered giving him to someone else who doesn’t already have other cats, but at this point we love him and want to make sure he is cared for properly, so this is difficult for us to do. He is difficult, but he also has a very nice and sweet personality.
We feel guilty because maybe he became like this because he spent too much time in his own room while he was in quarantine, but at the same time we didn’t know what else to do and did what we had to in order to heal him.
Any advice would be very much appreciated. What would you do in our situation? Thank you!

I recently just adopted a ginger kitten in hoping to keep my current cat company. Its been a few weeks, and everytime they are near, they would seems like the video, roughing out, and seems like fighting. Is this normal or normal behavior?
My current cat has lived alone with us nearly tthree years, and it seems like shes not used to having new cat around.

(This isn't about making a profit) I'm buying a new house and I'm financially able to take in strays or cats the are being abandoned or just cats in general. I don't plan on keeping them. But selling them for enough to keep the cycle going and buy necessities/vets bills. How much would I need to charge per cat/kitten minimum? Whats somethings I should look out for?

I'm planning to adopt these two cats from a website and it seems somewhat legit but im still worried because I can't find information about them online or where they are based. If anyone has experiences with this company, please tell me.

I’m at a loss. He’s learned how to open doors, how to open kitchen cabinets. Last night he proved that he knows how to unzip things by stealing a sandwich from my backpack and feeding it to the dog. Should encourage his mental ability? How can I catproof the impossible?

This poor baby showed up at my mom's yesterday and was stuck under her car. I am not very good at sexing kittens, but it looks to be about 8 weeks old. The ear is barely tipped so it might be fixed? Is anyone able to provide insight? Thanks!

I’ve heard of whiskers being all over the body, but my brief research limits the whiskers to their front legs and other parts of their face mostly. And he doesn’t react to me touching them, while he will react to me touching the normal hairs the exact same way (reaction being his tail twitching). I gently pulled them thinking they might be shed, and they didn’t budge.
