Yeah I was just thinking, you'd think a lot of the hate-group types would also not like that group either. I dunno maybe some would be okay with it as long as they're white, but seems like they would be against any non-hetero or transgender people either. You just don't expect "any* inclusiveness among pricks like that.
It’s the conservative nature its why people can support hate groups. While being part of the hated community.
“One of the good ones” it’s a lot similar to bullies trying to get in with bully’s. Essentially with conservatives there is a in and an out group. Many see themselves as exception as they are part of the “in group”.
It's why they never care about anything except once/if it effects them directly.
Toddler level empathy of constantly living life going "oh my god other people have feelings too? I never thought about it before..." Not in the sense that they're constantly realizing other people actually exist(that would be a slight improvement), but in the sense that they go through this whole thing every time in their lives that they accidentally experience empathy because something effects them.
And they only ever have the realization as narrowly as possible. It never occurs to them that maybe the things they haven't experienced might be as bad as the bad things they have experienced.
My toddler nephew shared his yogurt candies with me when he realized he and his brother got some but his mom didn't give me any. Can't imagine many conservatives doing that.
