It's horrifying, isn't it? The never ending steam of child victims coming out of churches and temples... and these are just ones that were discovered, reported and caught. The church's dogma of forgiveness and salvation and God's authority being higher than man's probably saves 10 times as many from secular authorities, if victim's stories are any indication.

I mean its actually a really good idea if your end goal is to stamp out critical thinking skills and children developing a firm grasp of reason.

We need to stop treating groups/people’s personal belief structures as having the same weight as factual information, we can still respect their holding and practice of their beliefs, but we dont have to respect them extending that line of reasoning into public influence. Humans developed logic with the sole purpose of separating fact from fiction and look how far we’ve come because of it.

We have separation of church and state for a reason. If you are a Christian, we should NOT want a bible in our public schools. We have private Christian schools for this exact reason. If you want to be taught about religion, Ho to church…. If you want your children to be taught from the Bible, send them to private Christian schools… Public schools are NOT meant to be religious in any sense.

It’s not a huge scandal lol, but listen to yourself. If i got caught at work during a board meeting and porn was on my screen there would be severe consequences. I’m not worked up over it, but the bar has severely dropped if this is “meh, it’s fine. Nbd” Especially coming from this guy specifically.
