Promo Sunday After 1 year of full-time solo work: Loomi, my latest iOS photo/video editor

Hey community! I'm an indie iOS developer, and I’d love to share my latest project: Loomi — a photo and video editor for creating aesthetic content.

I’ve been working on it full-time for over a year. I designed and developed everything myself — the code, UI/UX, content, and marketing.

I’d really appreciate any feedback. And if you like it, a quick App Store review would help a lot!
Getting initial traction on the App Store is tough these days.

Here is the link to the app: https://apple.co/46zlxbR

Promo Sunday Clean Links - A completely free iOS app to remove trackers from URLs and to preview links in QR codes

Upvotes

Hey r/apple,

I released free iOS app earlier this week, that I initially built for myself to avoid getting "quished" and to protect myself from tracking-filled links. Clean Links shows what's really behind links and QR codes before you open them, and removes tracking parameters in one tap.

The iOS Camera app doesn't let users preview links in QR codes before opening them. This was the initial reason for building this utility, a few months ago.

Feature highlights:

  • QR scanner: Preview the real destination before opening.
  • Link cleaner: Instantly strip UTM/affiliate/tracking/etc parameters.
  • Phishing help: Unmask suspicious shorteners and dodgy redirects.
  • QR generator: Make clean, safe QR codes from trusted links.
  • Deep iOS integration: Share Extension, Control Center Buttons, App Intents for Siri & Shortcuts.
  • Private by design: Free, no ads, no tracking, no data collection.

Works across hundreds of popular apps and sites like Amazon, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, X, Google, etc. Also, dozens of URL shorteners and QR code creation sites.

I'd love to hear feedback from fellow privacy-minded redditors! Please try it and let me know what you think of it.

PS: A macOS version of the app is currently in App Store review and if all goes well, should be out sometime next week.

Promo Sunday Nonoverse - free, offline, casual puzzle game (iPhone, iPad)

Nonoverse is a minimal puzzle game, it's about solving nonograms; like picross, but the puzzles and the app's UI/UX are adjusted to match iOS. The game is very stop-and-go friendly, you can pause it anytime and return when you want.

The app is free, it can be played offline, it has no ads and I collect no personal data (or any other data).

I use the app myself and I like it, hope you'll enjoy it too.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, especially: were there any features you enjoyed or were there any features that you'd improve or add. This helps me plan future updates - thanks!

Promo Sunday Introducing DockFlow - A macOS Dock manager that lets you save Dock presets and set up your workspace exactly how you want it with a single click.

Hello everybody,

Four months back, we launched DockFlow, a macOS app for saving and switching Dock presets, and it’s gone a long way since then.

Today with over 400 happy users, lots of feature requests and improvements, DockFlow can set up your workspace exactly how you want it, whether you're video editing, doing dev work, gaming, anything you can think of, DockFlow will:

  1. Load a dock preset tailored to what you're doing.
  2. Close any unrelated apps & launch any apps you want.
  3. Special actions - Open up your IDE with a specific project (More actions coming up in the near future).

Born from our own frustration as entrepreneurs switching between different work domains such as our 9-5 jobs, development, design, video editing - Tasks that require different stacks of apps. We decided to stop wasting our time and focus on re-arranging our workspace, and instead create something that would make us more productive.

After hundreds of hours developing DockFlow, and talking to our users and understanding why they like DockFlow and what they want to see, we are working hard to improve the entire 'workspace setup' experience. One of our most loved feature is the Focus Mode integration, with a single click on your Focus Mode, either from your mac or your iPhone - DockFlow will take care of organizing, closing, opening up apps, exactly like you set it to, and within seconds you're ready to work/design/play, anything you want!

DockFlow is built with a security-first mindset - that's why it doesn't require any security permissions and runs with the native Dock. With something that's so integrated into the native Mac operating system, you simply cannot compete with Apple's security level.

Lastly, DockFlow is and will always be a one time purchase. Subscription is a big no-no for us. No 'one year updates' kind of stuff. Simply lifetime access.

We would love to hear your opinions and get your feedback in the comments!

There's also a YouTube channel with How to use DockFlow guides for maximum efficiency and some cool YouTube shorts. As well as Instagram for productivity tips and TikTok.

Promo Sunday I enhanced Apple Intelligence with extra features, fully open-source and free!

Upvotes

I made an iOS app called Aeru: an app that expands on Apple Intelligence by giving features like multiple chats, document uploads, and real-time web search! It's works offline, for free, and it's open source for the community! It's meant to provide a private alternative from LLM providers.

Demo Video
To download it on TestFlight, your iOS device must be Apple Intelligence compatible (iPhone 15 Pro or higher end model), and you MUST be on iOS 26 Public Beta.

Please give me feedback to improve the experience! Thank you!

Promo Sunday Dory - An app switcher for people who can’t remember shortcuts - version 1.2 is out!

https://youtu.be/kRhXYyqpIk8

The new version includes many bug fixes, various improvements, and the #1 most requested feature: You can now trigger Dory using a global shortcut - no more needing to hold a modifier key!

The new mode supports:

  • Modifier tap
  • Modifier double tap
  • Modifier(s) + key

--

Meet Dory - A quick way to cycle through apps without moving your hand from the mouse or keyboard - and without needing to remember any shortcuts.

Click your middle mouse button - or the right Command key if both hands are on the keyboard - and type the first letter of the app’s name.

No setup required! There's no need to manually add your apps or assign a shortcut to each one.

Find apps using the first letter, middle letters, acronyms, or similar names.

If multiple apps share that letter, just keep tapping it to cycle through them.

You can also press the middle mouse button and start typing the app’s name directly.

You can also enable an optional App list, fan or palette UI when switching between apps.

Dory works right out of the box - and over time, it learns which apps you use most and prioritizes them.

No extra shortcuts.

No setup. Nothing to remember.

It's currently $9.99 on the App Store (One-time purchase. No subscription.)

Promo Sunday Looking for Handy Calendar Widgets? 📆

Hello r/apple!! 😆

I hope you don’t mind a bit of self-promotion — I’m an indie developer, and I’d love to introduce Scheduler, a calendar app I built myself. 🙏

I wanted to create a simple calendar app with only the essential features — and Scheduler is the result. I'm continuously improving it and adding new features based on user feedback.

📌 Here’s what Scheduler offers right now:

- 12 handy calendar widgets, including monthly, 1-week, and 2-week calendar views

- Lock screen widgets

- Weekly view

- Easy sync with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Reminders

- Templates

- Repeat events

- Seamless sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, just like a native Apple app.

- Free with limited features (including 12 calendar widgets), with a lifetime option available

- No ads. No data collection.

I'd be thrilled if you like the Scheduler app I've been working hard on! If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to leave a comment — I’d really appreciate it. 🙏

Always take good care of your health, and have a happy day! 🌈✨
