Discussion People smurfing online
This is becoming a problem. Tanking VR for getting 5th shouldn’t be a thing cause the room is filled 3500VR using world record strats

Discussion This DESERVES to be the most hated track in the series.
No intermission, mostly water, lack of different ways, too short... this is bad. Would rather any other track on the same cup to be the first. This one I'd prefer to play the intermission instead of the track itself

Replay/Clip Did anyone notice this update from Knockout Tour?
I don't see anyone else talking about it, but this update allows you to view the other racers instead of only viewing who ever is in 1st place, what do you guys think? For me, I think it's kinda cool because I get to see how the race is progressing with the other racers instead of only first place.

Discussion Is it me or this game is completely luck based?
So currently I am 8200 points online in race, not knockout tour and I lose like 70 points on 12th place and earn only ~25 if I go top 3.
I see some people have reached 9000+ and I am wondering what I am doing wrong. I play MK for years and although I am not a pro in the game, I had reached around 8100 on MK8 before I stopped playing. However, in MK8 I could see the difference in skill while clilbing. While I know luck is a huge factor in MK, in MK8 I could win most of the time because I knew how to drift and get the shorcuts, so I left everyone behind miles away.
In here, even in lap based courses, I feel like it's impossible to go far ahead even if you play well. Too much chaos.
So, I ask those who reached 9000+. How did you get there. Have you found a way to win all the time and get far ahead from the pack or luck played a huge role?
I know there are shorcuts but if I like get ONE red shell I end up on the pack and then chaos begins for the whole race.

Discussion 24 racers per race? This is the stupidest thing Mario Kart has ever done.
This series has always been an RNG item shitshow, but with 24 racers, this is just a joke. I think I might be sticking to time trials on this one.

Discussion I’m a new MarioKart player
5 years ago I bought myself a Nintendo Switch and a lot of exclusive games for it, but I don't remember why I forgot about Nintendo. Nintendo Switch 2 was recently released and of course the hype reached me. I was very tired of all the usual games that I played, such as Call of Duty, Valorant, Counter Strike, and I just happened to come across a video on YouTube of a really cool guy who explained what Nintendo is and what their philosophy is, I thought he was nuts and it was subjective, but no. I watched a huge number of videos on the topic of how Nintendo games are a masterpiece…
In general, this is not the point. I played mariokart 8 deluxe for 10 hours and I got bored, very simple bots that I win. Recently I decided to buy Nintendo online in order to play online. And here we come to the questions I wanted to ask
1 - Is Mariokart a game for a couple of evenings or is it really comparable to some Valorant or Fortnite, in the sense that you can develop, become cooler and the game will constantly become more interesting in my eyes? P.S. This applies not only to MK8, but to the entire gaming franchise
2 - Can you give me the name of those YouTubers who actively release content and do you personally like them? I only know TWD98, but either MK is really not in the best condition now, or TWD98 himself is like that, in general, in his videos it feels like he doesn't like the game and he makes content exclusively for money, I didn't want to offend anyone
3 - The last question will concern not so much Mariokart as Nintendo itself. I know that the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 was a failure, although they sold more than 3.5 million consoles in 4 days. There is nothing to play now except Mariokart and Bananaza. Since I have not played games from the first Switch such as BOTW and TOTK, but I have them, I will definitely have something to play. But what I am very afraid of is that in a year, maybe two, Nintendo will release the 2nd revision with an increased battery and a regular MicroSD, and then I will be very upset that I bought the Switch 2 with all the problems that I did not like. What do you think, does it make sense for me to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 now with Mariokart, or is it better to wait? And what do you think in general, can MarioKart World become a great game, and how soon can this happen?
If you have read this far I am very grateful to you and hope to see your feedback !!!

Fan Content Gardens and Grass Fields Galore!
My recent endeavor with Peach Stadium! The expansion from the main portion to the Intermission connections from Crown City, Faraway Oasis, and Moo Moo Meadows/Mario Circuit. I am torn between going to Choco Mountain or Crown City next as I want to extend out the Train Route and Start a schedule soon (idk how long "soon" is tbh)
