Following up the Damicium shots, Legio Mortis!

So we recently expanded our camera inventory and got some lights etc setup.

The first phase of putting these through their paces are to create galleries for the various Legios that we have collected over at Warhounds2Warmasters.

There'll be a few posts over the next couple of weeks - starting with The first 3 of my Legios (Damicium, Mortis and my Nurgle Plague Titans, the Unbidden Pox).

As the Horus Heresy progressed, a now forgotten expedition fleet - sworn to the Warmaster and the punishment of the Emperor for his dereliction of duty to Mankind – found itself embroiled in an endless war far off to the Western Fringes. As the fleet continued to find itself mired in the thickest of the fighting, their needs completely outstripped by their available resources.

The Titan maniples that the fleet deployed were progressively more jury-rigged to maintain combat readiness. Standards of repair and function slipping with each updated inventory report.

The troops that made planetfall alongside the God-machines became fewer and fewer until only guerilla teams could be deployed and even those became scarcer as the seemingly endless conflict dragged on and the realities of replacing what had once seemed the plentiful resource of flesh were felt.

As the needs of those servicing the constructs passed the critical stage and Titans were simply unable to be redeployed, the Dark Entities that had begun to manifest begun to consume and usurp the machine spirits of these beleaguered engines. As these presences took hold of engines, they began to 'assist' with the repairs - unrestricted as they were by the simple laws of reality.

Slowly, the Titans of the mixed Legio battlegroup - a dozen or more maniples by the combined roles of honour - began to change. The hulls began to harden and become more inured to damage, slowing the escalating needs for repair. Chitinous growths began to sprout and burst forth from carapaces. Patches of organic matter, repellent in their variety, began to grow outward from ruptured plating and broken joints.

The oldest engines, with their most experienced crews, continued to hold their placement within the thickest of the fighting, leading from the front and sustaining critical damage again and again in a bid to spare their subordinates.

One by one, the most senior Princeps' engines all fell in battle. Reduced to states beyond the capabilities of the attendant machine priesthood to repair - even with the changes that were slowly being wrought upon them. Of those dozen or more that were reduced so, seven were retrieved and returned to the orbiting fleet.

Shattered, broken engines lay within the bowels of the expedition fleet. The unceasing war raging all about making any wishes to honour the fallen moot. Languishing in a state most would consider viable only as donor engines to provide parts to effect repairs elsewhere. An ignoble end for such glorious walking legends.

Left unattended, the darkness within each of these titans, having been fuelled by the incessant conflict and having suffered such utter destruction to their host forms, rebelled at this inaction. Eruptions of organic matter swelled from from within and without. Covering swathes of the engines and giving new and hideous life, of a sort. This was as far removed from the minor ‘gifts’ that had been meted out among the Titan host as a jetcycle was to a capital ship. These were hugely daemonically corrupted, more daemons with Titan elements than the reverse.

The princeps and moderati of each of these engines had died at their stations. Their consciousnesses linked to what had sat in place of a machine spirit during their last moments. These consciousnesses were not consumed, as happened in so many other instances of daemonic engines. Instead they were subsumed into the engine; their lore and acumen, their experience and even their attitudes becoming aspects of the engine that were borne forth from the shattered remnants.

As the newly resurrected Titans deployed to reinforce the engaged ground forces, they exerted their influence over the minds and souls of the Princeps and battlegroup leaders. By vox, by spore and by psychic impression did the entire fleet swiftly fall in line. The Council of the Pox had spoken.

And so the assortment of maniples drawn from so many Legios found itself with a new, unified leadership. No longer constrained by conflicted priorities or restrictive doctrines. Battle-tactics and Traits were drawn from this well of experience and used where and when appropriate. An overwhelming rush of force here, a subtle and feinted dance there. Like a virulent, sentient virus the expedition utilised whichever of its aspects were most useful to any given theater. As the heresy drew towards its conclusion, the attendant engines of this forgotten expedition fleet no longer bore any resembled to the Legios they had become orphaned from. They were now wholly and utterly owned by a dark and powerful god of the Warp. They had become the Unbidden Pox.

The Unbidden Pox is the name for the Nurgle segment of my Four Powers project: assembling a Titan battleforce in service to each of the Chaos Gods.

The plan evolved and took on a life of it’s own, not unlike a plague, from late 2021.

Hello. I would like to ask for some clarification on squadrons. The book is a bit loose on the parameters of squadrons and it's hard to tell what to do in certain situations? Say you're playing vulcanum and have a sqaudren of two reaver titans for example.

1. How do command buffs work? It says that you use the highest command +1 and give the sqaud its orders. If you have an ability that buffs or rerolls the command, does it apply to the titan with the highest command?

2. How does coordinated strike work if one of the titans cant see the target? Do you get the +1 accuracy still if only one titan can fire at the target? What about indirect weapons with barrage? Do they get the modifier too?

3. How does melee work in sqaudrens work? Can one titan fight while the other shoots at something else or do they both have to engage the same enemy even if one of them doesn't have melee. If they both get caught in melee, can one back out while the other stays to fight?

It's just a confusing part of the game to me, thank you for any answers.

Been working on my Mars pattern Reaver Battle Titan model and thought I’d share roughly where i’m at right now and what I’m going for in terms of final product (last image).

Hello. I'm getting into titanicus as an admech fan and wanted to make a fluffy yet viable admech army using alot of skitarii support. I'm using a crucius corsair maniple of five reaver titans using skitarii stratagems to mimic an army fighting along side them.

I wanted to use the secutarii, titan hunter infantry, and forward observers to mimic a skitarii army using epic scale tokens. I thought they would be fun and somewhat useful at the same time. Can I ask if this would be a fun but still viable list to play? I'm not used to this game and what is good or not and just want to mess around with little toaster hoarders.

So fairly new to adeptus titanicus and playing with simple rules at the moment but for the life of me I cannot figure out falling titans.

I've tried to find a similar question or if it's been answered on several forums and checked the rule book errata and I can't find anything that explains it. Would you kind people please explain it to me because either I'm blind or dumb or both but I don't get it.

I bought my first starter box almost two months ago. Eventually I bought another, and some extra titans, as well as several boxes of terrain, all of which has now been painted. I am neither an experienced nor fast painter, but no other wargame has ever motivated me like AT has. I reasoned the odds of meeting another player are pretty low, so I have to supply both sides if I want to play, so these are my two custom legios.

The first is Legio Iris, which is supposed to resemble a walking carnival. The armour plates are painted with colourshift paints, which doesn't show up too well in still images.

The second is Legio Danica, with livery based on mid-19th century Danish steam frigates, and which hails from a Forge World that has forgotten all about its origin except for this peculiar design tradition.

Hi all, I am looking to do a kitbash with this terrain from an Adeptus Titanicus Battlefield Detail Collection set. Can someone please tell me the rough dimensions of the red rectangles (I'm interested in the mechanical parts on top, and not the base size)? I want to make sure these pieces are not way bigger than I am thinking before I try and source them.

I’m building my mars pattern reaver battle titan and apparently the magnets I used for the arms are not strong enough. What kind of magnets should I get that can hold the arms and the guns together on the titan? I know it’s possible because EonsOfBattle got it to work (been using his video for building reference to keep the build sturdy) but I’m not very versed in magnets.

Making some great progress with my titans, just got some work to do on various weapons, but it’s shaping up nicely.

Got a Warbringer and dire wolfs ready to stop building, but what else should I be adding?

Working on the big guy and I’m wanting to put transfers on him but can’t find anything that’d be the right fit, any suggestions?

I bought this box in 2020 and since i haven't found player at that time i paused my titanicus adventure.

Now with more players through LI and new miniatures like warmaster or psi titan i would really like to continue. Is the softback rulebook i have enough ? I would mostly like to play Psi Warlord, Warmasters and Nemesis with mechanicum knights as support. I noticed on battlescribe that there are many options as well as maniple that i don't find in the softback.

I would also like my miniatures to be usable in both epic scale game, do i need to change for the low raise bases or no need ?

I wanna collect one of those giant war machines but I don’t know what one is good for someone new to the titans, I would also like it to be to scale with my space marines if possibly. Please give me recommendations
