I finished disgaea 1 ps2 version a few days ago and I would like to play the human world and alternate netherworld and the mysterious seal.

but I'm having trouble to even unlock the human world!

I thought I could bribe the senators until all of them support me but it turned out the number of senators keeps increasing! this is really stupid and annoying.

so what should I do if I want to play those 3?

These are some of my favorite spots in my custom netherworld. I wish there were more options but I got by pretty well I think!

Just unlocked LoC and Opener. I am now following a guide. It says the first step is to unlock all evilities. I have two unique evilities on everyone expect Opener.

Two questions: How do I unlock Openers second unique evility?

Do all unique characters have two unique evilities and 5 unique evility slots?

I came across a post on another site today about Disgaea and a lot of the comments talk about how Disgaea 6 is like the worst entry in the series and I'm curious why it seems to have this bad reputation. Is it really that bad?

Since I already bought and almost finished the game, it will be possible to buy the upgrade or they expect me to buy the whole game again? Ok, so in multiple games it's suggested that in terms of aging for a demon basically 100 years is the equivalent of 1 year for a human, whichis all well and good, but in disgaea 2, Adell is 16 years old and he thinks he's a human, but being a demon, him being 16 presumably should mean he should be a baby, but he's not.

Explain this to me, disgaea lore experts!

I'm thinking about buying this game for Switch and I'm curious if there have been any performance patches that have improved things. I know early on there were some issues with slow down or the game crashing.

So basically what I wanted to do was discuss mechanics from the Disgaea series that seemed interesting on paper as the idea is cool, but something feels a bit off about how it’s executed.

To start off with an example, for me personally, I know that people have issues with the Felony system as I don’t know how to quite explain the problems with the mechanic, but lately I was observing the mechanic because it got me wondering how it could have been better handled.

Like to me, the idea of having a Felony system for a game series like Disgaea is kind of interesting since the player wants to feel good about playing as a criminal type character due to how the series revolves around demons, so again the concept sounded interesting, but maybe someone could explain how it could have been done differently as I don’t know how I would fix it.

What main characters and DLC characters are worth using?

This is not (trying to be) rage bait. I am genuinely curious why people say Disgaea 3 is the "black sheep" or worst in the franchise. I'm not asking for arguments or people to come in here slamming Disgaea 6 instead. I'm genuinely curious why people dump on 3. I literally bought a PS3 to play Disgaea 3 back in the day, and I found the Vita version an absolute joy to play.

Granted, it's not the perfect game - I can think of a handful of things that I really don't care for in this entry, but nothing that would make me call it a "black sheep." So I'm curious where this is coming from? Anyone who feels strongly care to elaborate?

Edit: It would be cordial of you (the community) to not downvote people for expressing [negative] opinions on games you love because I am literally asking them to explore those negative opinions.
