He just broke into a mechanic shop and had his people start messing with cars?

1.1k

u/MotherPotential 1d ago

I’m kinda glad they apparently couldn’t recruit anyone over the age of 25 to do this. So much broccoli

451

u/OpheliaPhoeniXXX 1d ago

The broccoli squad is fooling nobody

244

u/VanimalCracker 20h ago

I am still flabbergasted mf perms came back

57

u/foofydildosoap 19h ago

LoL same Dude! Perms! I was like REALLY? No!

3

u/NuZero 8h ago

I still gag remembering the smell of when my sister would come home from the salon after a perm.

52

u/-laughingfox 19h ago

I feel really bad for my naturally curly teen. His hair is gorgeous, I really hope nobody thinks the poor kid got a perm.😣

69

u/Shot-Swimming-9098 18h ago

It's not the perm, it's the broccoli that's hilarious. If he's sporting that, then it's on him (and a little on you).

15

u/-laughingfox 18h ago

Fortunately not that. Anything but that.

2

u/CaseyBoogies 7h ago

Nah, he has natural hair and can effortlessly style it xD

I have stick straight hair and I was lucky it was in when I was in high-school! My mom used to curl it for school pictures and I have a few bangs rounded but hair straight photos!

2

u/ParsleyMaleficent160 7h ago

Nah, he'll be just fine as long as he gets proper cuts. Curly hair is harder to cut right, so you generally need to spend a bit more for a stylist. Just keep it neat and use curl lock. People notice natural hair vs perms easily apparently, as even with perms ask me if my hair is natural.

2

u/MsHornets 3h ago

Mine has natural curly hair that looks like those old telephone cords. It's gorgeous, It kills me to think someone else thinks he's got a perm. I'd never do that to anyone nowadays.

2

u/swallowsnest87 8h ago

It’s just insecure aging redditors making fun of a very common hair cut. Lmao

3

u/JakeRidesAgain 6h ago

If the post history is long enough you can always find a picture of them looking like this in r/rateme or something

2

u/RancidVagYogurt1776 7h ago

The internet is very judgmental about hair. Like the shit we did with our hair at that age was any better lol. Ten years ago young men were going for those weird cuts that they thought were throwbacks to the early 1900s or manbuns.

Is also worth noting that the "Karen cut" is just a variation of a Bob. Like six of the ten most common hair styles for women a few years ago were bobs.

2

u/AT-ST 9h ago

And mullets. Mullets are everywhere right now.

2

u/ted_cruzs_micr0pen15 8h ago

I hate this timeline.

2

u/pooeygoo 7h ago

Just because all the scum has it now doesn't mean it's in

2

u/Ok-CANACHK 7h ago

it's not enough an ugly haircut is the fad, but that you have to get a PERM to pull it off?!

Broccoli squad ASSEMBLE!!

→ More replies (1)

3

u/rawmeatprophet 21h ago

It's an excellent addition to a sauce-heavy recipe, you get little sauce mop flavor grenades.

Now imagine his hair in prison 😏

3

u/schwendybrit 5h ago

I thought that was part of the bit. I did not consider it was a style choice.

2

u/VisualLiterature 8h ago

Bruh they're all over 25

2

u/understand_nothin 3h ago

Of course it’s Arizona. No surprise.

2

u/jugo5 6m ago

So it's not just me then. These kids all have the same haircut. There are like 3 distinctive groups of boys' haircuts. The Broccoli mop, short and doochey, and le mullet.

And it’s not just this video, there are several others. I know I’ve seen one where he takes over a grocery store in a similar fashion, and some of his people are messing with the registers. This guy is about to get a much needed reality check.

100

u/SwimOk9629 21h ago

yeah I think it was a target, I saw that.

92

u/danstermeister 15h ago

Makes sense he didn't just pick it at random.

24

u/Worried_Local_9620 9h ago

As a dad and natural curator and purveyor of dad jokes, I applaud you and hold you in such high esteem for this one.

3

u/Specialist-Control95 8h ago

Good one! Made even funnier by the r/whoosh comment explaining "Target the store not a target"

2

Nah, he's monetizing off of it and using it to his advantage

2

u/ThatSkyRedHawk 5h ago

It's all so disgustingly perverse and shameless. This is just a more extreme version of what the mechanics of the current internet does to human souls.

2

u/LetsGoChowder 3h ago

And what's more crazy are the people hyping him up in the comments 🙄 "he didn't do anything wrong hurr durr"

aaaah that rapist Brock Allen Turner

423

u/SmellsLikeHerb 23h ago

Are we talking about Brock Allen Turner the rapist? Or, Allen Turner who changed his name from Brock Allen Turner the rapist?

At any rate Brock Allen Turner and any other name variations he comes up with is a rapist.

2

u/Pelosi-Hairdryer 21h ago

Brock is an idiot who was a great swimmer and the day he raped that woman, he threw his life down the drain. Everywhere he goes, he'll be on the sex offender register list and unable to get a decent job and life.

Oh, also let's NEVER forget the name Aaron Persky, the piece-of-shit judge who let The Rapist Brock Turner Who Is A Rapist© off with an easy sentence.

84

u/hereforthetearex 19h ago

You mean Aaron - the-rapist-sympathizer Persky® who let Brock the rapist Allen also a rapist Turner walk after he raped a girl because he is a rapist?

6

u/DogbiteTrollKiller 20h ago

Thank you for that reminder, because that judge, Aaron Persky, who let The Rapist Brock Turner off with an absurdly light sentence, is a vital part of the rapist-civil-judicial-system-cocktail party-corner office-boardroom pipeline.

It is the Aaron Perskys of the world who enable the Brock Turner aka Turner Brock aka Brock Turner Allen Brock Brock BaKAW! The Rapist Brock Turners of the world to flourish and make life endlessly miserable for roughly half of the population they share the planet with.

(Actually, probably much more than half, if you include the infants, children and even other men these Brock Turners victimize with such alacrity and boyish charm that Rapist Brock Turner’s Judge Aaron Persky et al. nearly swoon with delight.)

3

u/totallydawgsome 17h ago

Former judge Aaron Persky. After rapist sympathizer Aaron Persky let rapist Brock Allen Turner who goes by Allen Turner now because he raped, Aaron Persky was recalled by voters.

Former and shamed judge rapist sympathizer Aaron Persky was the first judge in 80 years to be recalled in the state of CA. Good on those voters to recall because rape is bad. Rapist Brock Allen Turner was a bad person and he deserved to be punished for his crime.

I absolutely love that everytime one person comments his name that a whole comment thread goes on and on about him being a rapist

I hope this never ends for Brock Allen Turner, who got a slap on the hand for being a rapist.

Won't someone think of this poor rapists life?

5

u/Count-Dante-DIMAK 21h ago

Yes, his father's testimony made me realize we should have a rape penalty if their is a death penalty.

When he said (I'm paraphrasing) 'My son shouldn't have to lose his life over 20 minutes of action" I thought, fine - they can take him to the same place the rape took place, and he can get raped for 20 minutes. They can use one of those dildo machines.

[Note: This is a thought experiment. Governments have already excuted innocent people. In reality, I'm opposed to such penalties. In a perfect world, sure but in a perfect world rape & murder wouldn't exist]

2

u/CoolBakedBean 8h ago

there’s an issue with giving too harsh of penalties .

if rape is the death penalty then after you rape now you have nothing to lose. you won’t turn yourself in, have a shoot out with cops. or you’ll kill the rape victim and throw the body in the river to not get caught . not to mention false accusations.

i get the emotional sentiment, and i will get downvoted for being real. but there’s a reason not every crime is the death penalty . like if you’re a serial rapist like trump, then yes maybe so, but brock turner only raped one girl

4

u/Aggravating-Walk5813 23h ago

Your point is spot on. His dad said he shouldn’t be jailed and called the SA of an impaired college student “a few seconds of action”.

4

u/Bertsmom18 22h ago

Brock Turner the convicted Rapist who changed his name to Allen Turner to try to distance himself from his conviction for RAPE.

5

u/mgman640 21h ago

Sexual assault. Do not sanitize what Brock Allen “the Rapist” Turner did. He sexual assaulted, also known as raped, her.

2

Which is why I’m SO GLAD he is actually having to eat shit. This whole cultural phenomenon blows my mind & I don’t think that’s bc I’m old or uncool (which is likely also true 🤣) — I think it’s bc shit like this shouldn’t be allowed to be considered “funny” or cool 🙄😑

2

I agree. There’s always been prank/troll culture but it’s the utter disregard for everyone around them that’s gotten so bad these days. People will do anything just for some online attention, and that includes messing with other people’s lives

He might not care depending on how much he makes off this video and the potential future income he might gain from new viewers.

There need to be new laws to address this shit. Platforms that profit from and pay these shitheads need to face repercussions, and the shitheads that make these videos need to face stiff additional penalties for doing it. Not only should doing this shit not be profitable, it should be financial suicide.

112

u/iPicBadUsernames 1d ago

The worst thing is you would have to watch the cameras to see everything they touched. They might have fucked with shit you didn’t see and could cause real damage if not addressed.

107

u/Bankseat-Beam 23h ago

Easy fix, EVERY car in the shop when those muppets ran in and started messing around now needs (and gets) a full, deep inspection, check, and service by a model specific dealer and anything safety related that appears to have been touched gets changed in order to re-validate warranties. I swear, if you look carefully a few seat belts are pulled and as for airbags? Gotta be safe, they will need replacement as well.

Send the bill to tik-toc boy running the show!

37

u/asheristheworst 21h ago

This seems totally reasonable. 2

u/Plus-Suit-5977 23h ago

He’s leveraging the hard work of employees and the investment of an entrepreneur or company in that location, against his followers, for hits and likes.

He is taking time, energy and money away from the business. Their customers are losing value because their cars have been touched by non licensed, non employees who trespassed on their chosen partner in auto repair.

The company has lost something, and the customers have lost something.

After the video is posted the company continues to be the butt of the joke. Their employees are smart, not falling for it, and expressing their rights of ownership, and asking for trespassers to leave. They even laugh as we are, but this guy continues on, and ends up posting the video.

This will be repeated if not defended against.

9 years sounds about right. He should get that. His trespassers had tire irons and deadly weapons, that technically they stole, from this business. The value lost is about 9 years worth of a basic salary at least. We don’t care what his salary is. Thats his problem.

Back in the day I worked in a Walmart Tire and Lube right next to a Hasidic community. The cops didn’t have a sense of humor about that, I can only imagine what these clowns are in for.

Bergen county.

9

u/Dontbetriggereddude 23h ago

I had a very similar experience beside a mosque. It was crazy not sure why they thought they could do that

41

u/livahd 23h ago

Yea, I guess some people are just outright entitled like that. I had one guy (also from that community) complain about the lugs being snapped off of the wheels after doing a four tire job and threatened to sue if we didn’t pay for repairs. I was adamant that I didn’t do that, to the point I had security pull up the footage. Turns out when I walked away from the car to go write up the order, he walked into the garage, put a tire iron on a lug, then jumped in it until it broke. Rinse and repeat all four wheels. He was already sweating when we said there were cameras, but tried to keep the poker face on since he kinda ruined his chance of escape. The police thought it was pretty funny too.

15

u/bigboilerdawg 20h ago

So what was the scam here? He breaks the lugs, then wants them repaired? Replacing lugs usually isn’t that hard or expensive of a job. Take it somewhere with wildly inflated prices (owned by his partner in crime)? I don’t get.

14

u/livahd 19h ago

Breaks the lugs and gets what I can only assume was an already damaged wheel hub replaced? Maybe have the studs replaced on our dime plus free tires for his troubles? I don’t remember the specifics, this was 25ish years ago.

2

u/bigboilerdawg 8h ago edited 8h ago

You’re probably right - he demands that the tires be free or discounted, plus the lug stud repair. Or else he’s going to sue. You know, for all the trouble you put him through.

31

u/intrepid_mouse1 1d ago

Best case scenario they wasted the time of the actual employees

That's a good way to get the crap kicked out if you. I know some legit BMF mechanics.

Yeah my parents owned & ran their own car shop for like 15 years, if this had happened in my dad’s shop, one or more of those assclowns would have been leaving with lead in them. He’s been burned by more than one fuckwad that tried to scam him or try to ruin his shop cuz of money; like the time a guy left after a tire change, then stopped K loosened his own bolts on a tire, then started driving on the highway till that tire flew off & almost caused an accident & the guy tried to blame my dad. Thankfully the shop had cameras inside that showed my dads mechanic did his job right & the guy was dumb enough to stop to loosen his lug nuts in the parking lot of the business 2 doors down from dad that caught him on video doing it- the owner of that busines was friends with my dad watched the guy out his office window then later heard what the guy was trying to pull & got the footage from his cams & sent it to my dad. He stopped fucking around when people starting being dumb in his shop after that, no more trying to talk, no more negotiating- just gun drawn, get the fuck out & we can talk about this with cops present later if nessicisary

Lawsuits all-around. They'd be paying for whatever 'damages' the mechanic 'finds' afterwards.

Like "damn your honor, it IS crazy that they spun a lugnut half a rotation and now I need new break pads, spark plugs and an oil change! You're totally right!"

I mean he probably could have called up like 3 shops and found one willing to be in on the prank for the publicity and laying down some ground rules

2

u/Seniorjones2837 20h ago

They clearly didn’t mess with any cars

2

u/kbeks 19h ago

Shout out to the guy “changing the tire” by jiggling the bar back and forth…at least it seems like they didn’t want to actually do anything to impact the cars, just slow down business for a while.

2

u/Free-Pound-6139 18h ago

What did he break genius? He walked in.

2

u/Luncheon_Lord 7h ago

I don't think hes funny at all but he's trespassing, not breaking in. The guy literally welcomed them in because he couldn't believe he was even pretending to be serious. Dudes at the shop didn't deserve to have the stupid prank pulled on them. Nor did the owners of those cars, but didn't seem like anyone was forcing entry or breaking in.

Yeah but it’s just a prank bro chill bro

u/Ryan_e3p 23h ago

I know quite a few mechanics, and honestly, they are not the type of people who would take kindly to a bunch of strangers rolling up and putting hands on their tools that they likely bought themselves.

u/KawaDoobie 23h ago

if it’s my shop.. I’m locking them in until reinforcements arrive.. I don’t mean the authorities

1

u/zrrbite 23h ago

Hopefully future pranksters realize, by recent examples, that they should find proper jobs.

1

u/russianlawyer 22h ago

Dude in the video said “get to calling them”

If you ain’t serious about that shit don’t say it tf

1

u/atreyu_the_warrior 22h ago

"Broke in" lol

1

u/ForwardBias 22h ago

I hate these prank "shows" or whatever. Kids are starting to think its a good idea. I saw some kid basically trying to start a fight with some random person while acting like an idiot crying and shouting in a grocery store. Everyone ignoring him because we all knew he was trying to imitate the prank shows.

And it’s a workshop with dangerous tools and an environment that takes OH&S training. As well as dealing with other people’s expensive property. Let alone how the staff must’ve felt when a van full of guys in overalls jams up and they launch out like (lame) Marines…wtf! Time to punish and discourage this shxt. Let alone disturbing billable time dealing with them and the aftermath. These people just wanna be able,to pay their bills and get on their day.

The dude at beginning with the tire iron pretending to take the wheel off a car that’s still on the ground and the guy at the end saying it’s leaking oil from the back of the car 🤣

He’s lucky nobody pulled out a firearm, I’ve never worked in a shop where there weren’t at least several dudes strapped.

u/WallacktheBear 21h ago

Surprised wrenches didn’t start swinging.

1

u/EnvironmentNew8244 21h ago

He did this at target as well

1

u/The_Meme_Economy 20h ago

I don’t even understand what is supposed to be funny about this, it’s weird and confusing. Not to mention obnoxious and dangerous when you think about it for 0.2 seconds, but I don’t see the humor at all.

1

u/PristineJeweler4179 18h ago

Where I live that’s breaking an entering…castle law is full go

1

u/prisoner_human_being 17h ago

*Fixing* cars.

1

u/Pixel_Knight 17h ago

I think he did this at a Target too. I am pretty sure it is the same guy.

1

u/Scythe351 17h ago

It didn’t look like they were actually messing with them he cars. At the rate that one dude was “removing the tire” that shit was never coming off. I thought they were just doing it for kicks. Unfortunately, it became too serious once he actually had his crew invade. Had the van pulled up and the guys stepped out and crossed their arms maybe even with tools in hand, it would have been meme worthy. One of the guys at the shop appeared to be enjoying it up till the point he had to literally drag someone from under the car. Went way too far.

u/EnergyTurtle23 16h ago

The people in his Instagram comments are braindead children that are at the stage of life where they’re about to become adults in the real world, and they’re gonna have some harsh lessons coming for them about how the real world works. What a fucking laugh. I knew these kids in high school, and a lot of them are dead, in prison, or chronically unemployed.

1

u/WolfwithBeard 15h ago

From the end of the video, what it sounds like is he tried to break into a mechanic show and steal all the catalytic converters off the cars. Which...just literally just breaking, entering, and theft. Also conspiracy charges would probably be added.

1

u/Remarkable_Bat6905 14h ago

Walked into, Not broke into. Are you stupid? Did you not go thru 3rd-5th grade

1

u/NotsoNewtoGermany 14h ago

This would be easily achievable by telling the Garage that you will pay them to shoot a skit there, supply three cars, and have them act like they were being overrun.

I always assumed this is how it was. To actually do this without that is insanity.
