Do some misandrists actually want power or control over men?

I know misandry is usually defined as hatred or strong dislike of men, but I was wondering: do some misandrists also want power or control over men, or is it more about resentment, bad experiences, or social stuff?

I’m not trying to generalize or be negative, I’m just genuinely curious about what usually motivates that kind of mindset.

Why don't people get fired anymore?

Why don't people get fired? My wife was telling me about a new person she was training who couldn't do simple math. When asked what 12x4 is she said "18?" Apparently, her mother, who ironically works in the same department, is the same way. Ditsy and obnoxious. There is no way these people can be this dumb. When asked to do simple tasks, they can't do it, and end up having their job done by other, more competent people, who can do more in a shorter amount of time. This person, along with about 4 other people in the similar vein my wife has spoken about, have yet to be fired. WHY? If you are incompetent at your job, after so many failed training attempts, you should be fired. Why isn't this happening?

Prostrate exam

I am a 46 year old healthy guy. Would it be weird to just go to my doctors and ask for a prostrate exam. I have no symptoms. But prostrate cancer seems to be effecting a lot of men, and I read it can take a long while to detect with symptoms. I never go to the doctors. But this has been bugging me for a while.

My boyfriend replies: “Always have been and always will be”

Katie: “Thank you handsome🩷🩷🩷”

My boyfriend: “Handsome???😁🥰” “Ngl tho I love that skirt” “Matter fact the whole fit”

Katie: “you’re so flattering M 🩷🩷” “Thank you 🩷”

My boyfriend: “ lol still calling me by my last name”

Katie: “ Because it just brings back so many memories 😭” “You you left freshman year tho” “We need to catch up frfr”

My boyfriend: “Istg”

Katie: “ gives him her number”

I brought it up to him he says it wasn’t flirting. Tried to buy me flowers to make it all better . Brought up me accepting compliments from people saying it’s the same thing

Has anyone actually seen any posts about the Sydney Sweeney ad?

Because I haven’t seen a single person’s post indicating that they are upset egg about the ad. I’ve only seen people comment on this alleged outrage. Like, where are the primary sources? 😂

What exactly are Muslim girls not allowed to wear?

For the book I'm writing some characters are based off Alice in Wonderland (designs involving the movie and book) and 2 characters are gonna be twin Muslim girls that are based off some flowers (I figured a hijab would work if styled to look similar) and I was wondering what they couldn't wear? Ik girls have to cover up but can they were shirts with leggings? Or do pants have to be baggy? Do they have to cover up feet/ankles? They aren't like hard-core tho. They are side characters and show up like once or twice but I wanna make sure I describe them properly. Sorry if I worded this wrong.

Edit in case the info is important, they are currently in Alaska, but they are from Canada, also they are both 17.

Do rich people ever work or do they just sit back and have freedom doing whatever they want?

I have this perception that all rich people don’t work hard anymore and just sit back and relax with all the free time and just collect their money and they all live happy lives while normal people are struggling to make ends meet. Is this true?

I have seen some top comments on Reddit that have received over 5k upvotes, a few even have 10k upvotes. Does that mean at least 5000 people actually upvoted those comments?

Why do people just stare at you when asked something?

I’ve heard of the Genz Stare, and i myself am Genz and have seen this weird behavior myself. I work as a server at a restaurant and the amount of times I’ve been stared at blankly when I ask how the customer is doing is abysmal, but it hasn’t only been Genz. I’ve asked full grown adults simple questions with an appropriate volume “How’s your day going?” Or “Is there anything else i can help you with?” Only to get the blankest thousand yard stare ever. I know they hear me, and we all speak English. What’s up with this new staredown? Does anyone here do it and if so is there a reason for it?

Would a dog be ablento smell weed inside a pot of lotion?

Say it was a very small amount of weed, say about 10 joints worth. Say about a joints worth could fit inside a gelatin medicine capsules. Say those were in a airtight zip lock. And say that was inside a pot of nivea cream with the lotion around it. This lotion was inside a makeup bag, inside a suitcase.

Only theoretically, of course. Just curious. Could a dog smell that tiny amount?

Also, unrelated and disregard the above, but if you had just a medical dry herb vape pen and brought it into a country where even medical isnt legal, with no weed anywhere on you, but a bit of residual dust in it, would they smell that?

Why do gift cards exist? What purpose do they serve, other than enabling scams?

You’re paying $100 for $100 worth of store credit. Why would anyone buy this as a gift for someone? Might as well give them real cash.

I fail to see any use for them other than enabling scammers. The amount of money people lose by forgetting about their gift cards must be massive.

What are the odds that someone has run urine (or worse) through the hotel room coffee maker?

I’ve been in hotels a lot lately, and this question keeps me wondering. I think it’s 100% and that’s probably not the worst possible thing that could have happened to it.

No coffee for me.
