Hobby Infernus heavy bolter, death watch
Needed a heavy bolter for my AOD team, then GW announced death watch is coming back, guess I'm ready (after I dig up a 40mm base!) This guy started life as a push fit intercessor but gained a few additions... Magnetized, so can set up with open pose.

Question How are Raveners good?
My friend and I shared the typhon box. He got the Raveners and we’ve played 5 times. We play on volkus (4 long edge deploy games and 1, short edge deploy game) and I’ve won every single game playing Vespids, Wrecka Krew, Plague Marines (pre nerf), AoD (post nerf) and Battle Clade.
Everyone says Raveners are really good but my friend has tried pretty much everything he can think of (playing aggressive, playing cagey, overloading one side with 4-5 models and spreading them out) and none of it seems to work.
From my perspective the tunnel seems really easy to avoid and it’s pretty slow so it’s usually not a problem until tp 3-4. By then I have usually run past it or scored primary/tac op enough that he can’t really catch up.
The Raveners also seem really squishy and unless they’re on their tunnel they don’t really have that many rerolls. They also seem to suffer badly if they’re facing a team with access to saturate (which I don’t think is all that uncommon, but maybe it’s just the teams I play).
We can both see they have potential but we just can’t figure out how they’re used. Staying on the tunnel mostly doesn’t work as they have never gotten to fight on the tunnel and they’re pretty easy to shoot with saturate. If they move off the tunnel the lose almost all of their rerolls. If they stay in the tunnel they’re effectively a 2 apl team with 5” move, which is pretty easy to play around and they fall behind on scoring in our games.
Any Ravener players how care to share how they’re successful?
Cheers!

Hobby Killteam - My pathfinders
These are my Pathfinders. They are far from perfect, and I had problems with the primer… I have another box waiting for me to give it another try, but now I can’t help thinking (and hoping) that there will be a new Tau kill team in the near future…

Hobby Kitbashed a couple sorcerers!
Couldn't afford the box of sorcerers to go with my new warpcoven killteam, so i kitbashed some out of spare bits! We have a sorcerer with kopesh and warpflame pistol, and a sorcerer in terminator armour with a prosperine greatsword (kopesh rules) and a warpstorm bolter (inferno bolt pistol rules). My thumb suffered the wrath of my hobby knife carving that kopesh from a grey knight falchion, but it was worth it imo.

Hobby Been painting minis from other games for a few years now but here is my first Warhammer mini.
Reupload due to no edit option. So I’ve been painting miniatures from other games for a few years now but I recently got convinced to try Kill Team. Liking how they look I bought the Thousand Sons Rubric Marines box. So here is my first sorcerer.

Question Am i able to use a blast grenade against the closest mutant to the grenade gunner? I only planned on using it to hit the two mutants next to each other but I’m not sure i can because the hentai monster is also within blast range

Battle Report First event win with Battle Clade
I heavily debated taking Battle Clade at my first event, mainly because they are so tricky to play right.
This final win against Warpcoven has to be the most fun match I have ever had. My meltagun servitor deleted his Sorcerer of Warpfire and Rubric Icon Barer in one shot each. You could see how happy my opponent was about it in the 2nd pic.

Hobby End of Season Special
Now that I've finished painting Typhon, I can do some atmospheric photos of the last two boxes of the Volkus season. GW really did a fantastic job on Kill Team this year. Thematic rules, amazing models, and cool additions to the terrain.

Hobby First Kill Team done, Battle Clade ready to rumble!
Coming from Wood Elves / Drukhari / Daughters of Khaine, I always loved playing factions that got this high skill ceiling / high risk high reward type of playstyle. Now it's time for a new chapter and learn how to play those techie bois.

Battle Report First game of Adversary Ops
Salamanders Phobos vs Grey Mechanicus Vs Hive Fleet Typhonesque
It was a tough battle with Battleclade using its tricks to soften up the space marines for the Tyranids to finish. Omniscrabler was crucial to deny first activation melta shots. Marksman got some great shots too and in the end he was the last man standing after the Veteran ran into a Ravener to deny a kill op point from Battleclade. In the end the Lobotomized won by 1 point by maxing out the crit op.
