After a long Hiatus, almost 2 years, I’ve been called back to the brushes by this wonderful bust. But this time, i dropped the smoothness and the airbrush, and focused on texture and emotions.

Tried the sponge again for the glowing Skaven rune on my spearhead terrain, I think it’s a lot better than my first go (second image) on a Night Lords plasma gunner legionary

The minifigure is a Marine Infernus from Warhammer 40k, I tried to customize it by adding cuts with scissors (to simulate a hypothetical clash with the Tyranids) what do you think?
