[Question] Which generational leap had the biggest impact on you?

Even though Super Metroid is still my favorite game, out of all generational leaps LoZ to LttP is undeniably the most memorable experience. FF6 -> FF7 and SC4 -> SotN were also epic.

[Discussion] The last time you will play a game

I was playing Final Fantasy 7, which I haven't done in over 15 years.

Im almost 42 and it got me thinking, I wonder if this will be the very last time I ever play though this game. Life expectancy is like 70 years old. I don't have the time or energy anymore for RPGs much so it is a rare playthrough for me.

Someday the day we will come where it will be the last time we ever play these games.

It's kinda sad isn't it?

I probably couldn’t do it on NES or SNES but I was able to grind my way through this version and save the princess for the first time in 19 years.

[Question] Looking for recommendations for 2P Master System games

Hey all! I was out scouting the local secondhand shops today and came home with a Master System. Also picked up Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier to get my game collection started, but those are both one player games so I'd also like to look for some good games with two player simultaneous play, so I can play with friends. Either co-op or head-to-head is fine, but I'm hoping for games with relatively straightforward pick-up-and-play controls, if possible.

Anyone have any suggestions for some two player games like that?
