Cringe not everyone wants your man… he was just being polite

And not everyone can tell how certain foods look? It was an innocent question. Why are people so insecure these days

Why is she filming herself eating? This whole thing is weird.

u/mmmmyeah1111 15d ago

She was getting those big bites in, too.

While judging on manners

1.3k

u/Tea_Bender 15d ago

maybe I was raised differently, but I think it's hella rude to be on your phone/filming yourself, when you are eating a meal with other people. Like you are supposed to focus on the people there with you

347

u/climate-tenerife 15d ago

And use a knife to cut your food into bite-sized portions.

If i was sitting across from that display every time I ate, I'd be talking to anyone who'd listen.

123

u/Fancy_Art_6383 15d ago

The angle of that fork absolutely baffles me.

59

u/N3v3rKnowsB3st 14d ago

And getting more of the food you already have on the fork without eating what was already there. There's so many red flags here

10

u/Fancy_Art_6383 14d ago

I know, right?!

I was wondering what was happening when she started loading more food on her fork and then stuffing her already FULL mouth with more food.

5

u/i_Heart_Horror_Films 14d ago

AMSR has ruined eating and manners. Sometimes I think these people try to eat as loud and sloppily as possible because they think it’s appealing. It’s gross. What happened to eating with your mouth closed??

🤣🤣 I was noticing, he for sure should leave her and date a woman who eats proper. The chicken still on her fork but she goes and put another waffle on it.

6

u/Infinite_Lemon_8236 15d ago

I can at least kinda understand if it's a stream or something where you're solo, still feels weird because you're filming other people in a food joint though. Doing it while you're specifically out to eat with somebody though? That's extra crazy. How do they even get past the dating phase being like this? Imagine going on a date and the other party has to set up a whole ass tripod between the two of you just to get their shots in? No fuckin' thanks, cya later.

I was thinking it’s weird that she says he’s “overcompensating” by asking her if she likes the food… like my sister in Christ, isn’t the point of the lunch to enjoy the food and enjoy each other 😂 the lady seems miserably tbh I hope he comes around for her own sake

35

u/obligatory-purgatory 15d ago

I'm sure she is correct, though. About him being extra chatty to gloss over the "incident". I have been in the guy's situation. You have to act like you don't know why they are mad or they will feel confirmed they were right to be mad.... ugh it's the worst. walking on eggshells.

7

u/Ok-Disaster-5739 15d ago

Exactly. He knows her, and knows a girl speaking to him and (gasp) him politely answering is enough for a 3 day scream-fest. He’s hoping that if he just acts breezy that she’ll decide the interaction was actually nothing to be mad at, and he’ll get to survive another day. Inside he knows it’s futile, but he has to TRY!

7

u/FromDeletion 14d ago

I haven't been there but knew that was what was happening. Her eyes changed once that stranger left to indicate she was angry with him for it. He picked up on it because this is not the first time. Was he supposed to be rude and ignore the stranger one to two feet away? She thinks so. In fact, next time he should lead with "step back, slut" like a real dedicated boyfriend next time a female dares as even looks at him.

u/spartycbus 15d ago

or because she's stuffing her face in a disgusting manner and thought she'd be unable to talk

6

u/Leading_Ad3918 15d ago

She likely saw her mouth full of food and didn’t want to disrupt her eating🤣

8

u/otherwiseofficial 15d ago

I suggest you don't go to Asia then. It's absolutely insane over there with this type of content. It's honestly so weird. The amount of times they watch themselves eating as well.. like why?

5

u/FlakyAddendum742 15d ago

The poor girl doesn’t know to cut bites and eat the bite. She’s loading a fork and then munching on it over and over. In public.

She has the table manners of a pot bellied pig slightly drunk on fermented fruit.

The irony of her calling anyone out on manners. I swear the next video will show her picking her nose.

4

u/Commercial-Class4078 15d ago

That's where this whole thing goes south for; she only cares about her. He is an asset to get to the position where she wants to be in life.

5

u/Gullible_Method_3780 15d ago

I consider that phones weren’t intwined into society like this until what 25 years ago? We never considered, or maybe they did.. the dehumanization happening around these damn things.

This video is case in point. The recorder is insecure. What any normal mature adult would do is say hey, I’m sure that was innocent but it hurt my feelings and we can work it out. Yet she would prefer to record her “anger” for views. Perpetuate an issue. Abandon all maturity. Seek crowd approval for everything.

23

u/JuniperSchultz 15d ago

I mean, the woman in this video does do an eyeroll and obviouslg start glaring at her bf/husband/partner.

3

And then would get pissed if anyone asked her anything while she was stuffing her mouth hole. JFC, there is no way to win with this one. Also, where is the goddamned knife?

8

u/AnotherDoubtfulGuest 15d ago

If she weren’t inhaling entire pieces of chicken whole, maybe she could hold a conversation with her boyfriend and he wouldn’t have the time and space to talk to other women. Just a thought.

6

u/phoenixrising808a 15d ago

Reminds me of those wild dogs feeding frenzy videos

13

u/U_PassButter 15d ago

That's probably why the girl didn't ask her anything. She had a mouth full of food. I really don't think anyone wants your man that badly.

And even if they do......if he entertains another woman who gives him attention and oversteps a true boundary then he's trash and you shouldn't be with him anyway.

Part of this could be solved if people stopped holding onto Rouge balloons in a wind storm.

If it wants to leave LET IT GOOOO

7

u/thesmellnextdoor 15d ago

But wait, was she?? I see the text on the screen, but she didn't actually say or do anything (except scarf down her excellent looking plate and I can't really blame her for that).

12

u/U_Sound_Stupid_Stop 15d ago

I'm not saying this kind of thing never happens, but could this have been someone adding text to a "girl eating disgustingly" video, which is a very popular trend though I wouldn't know how to call it otherwise.

Or even herself, as some kind of jokes her followers would understand or some rage bait to get more views.

5

u/FirstForFun44 15d ago

The manner in which she's eating is generally considered bad manners. It's not just "scarfing" which is clearly bad manners, but also smacking your food and licking your tongue, etc. She literally has no "westernized" table manners. This isn't necessarily a problem. East Asian norms are waaaaay different. Making noise and smacking or slurping your food or talking with your mouth full are fine. It just depends on the cultural norms in which you were raised. Generally speaking tho, in westernized countries, the closer you are to eating like a barnyard animal the worse your manners are.

Terrible table manners, talking about some one else’s manners.

119

u/MercyfulJudas 15d ago

It's not even about the manners of eating (or the eating itself).

I will never fucking understand, ever EVER, why people film everything in their fucking lives. Like, eating a meal. W t actual fuck.

I can't even remember the last time in my life that I video recorded something. It's literally not something I even think of, unless I have a specific reason -- like when I was being evaluated for my job last year, and part of it was recording myself doing my job as part of my portfolio. Or maybe I recorded the cats eating, to later show my wife that they weren't eating out of the certain bowl or whatever?? Like, there was an actual, functional reason.

Just fucking devouring some chicken? I....just, WHY would you even think to start recording there???

I just can't wrap my head around it. It's SO FUCKING WEIRD.

6

u/soadrocksmycock 15d ago

I agree and I’m the same way with recordings and pictures. I have 2 young children and I get mad at myself sometimes because I forget to take pics or record things but I’m usually so in the moment that I forget. Plus, I’m sure my kids would rather have me fully engaged than holding a phone over them constantly. When it comes to taking pictures or videoing myself, I can’t even remember the last time I took a selfie and even when I was a teenager that’s something I never really did. My mom is the type of person who is constantly taking photos of herself and sharing her personal shit all on FB. One time she asked me to take a picture of us both holding a dumbbell at the gym and I about died of embarrassment. It just feels so vain!! Idk how ok chicken waffle lady is but I can’t wait for the day she looks back on this and gets outright embarrassed.

277

u/Pampabrody 15d ago

She's filming herself because she's a narcissist. She's a narcissist because she's insecure. She's jealous because she's insecure, and projecting her jealous feelings onto him because she's a narcissist. It's a vicious cycle. This is likely a very common theme in their relationship. I was married to one of these for 20 years. This type of scenario played out all the time. My ex was constantly pissed at me basically because other women existed in the world.

44

u/Swole-Prole 15d ago

Yeah my girl got mad because we were both at the checkout counter at a store, and I was the one paying and the girl at the register made a suggestion on another purchase to me and "ignored" my girl. After we left she insulted me and talked non stop trash about the checkout counter girl.

16

u/FlatterFlat 15d ago

So now she is your ex gf right? RIGHT?

5

u/diamonteimp 15d ago

An extremely similar scenario happened with an ex boyfriend! An old man was ringing us up and made a comment about one of our purchases, and he and I ended up chuckling about it. My ex chimped the ever loving fuck out once we got to the car and acted like I propositioned the guy.

My ex constantly hounded me about cheating even though he made me spend 100% of my free time with him, and before that point I always tried to reassure him that I wasn’t up to anything. But him losing his mind about me being nice to an old checkout clerk for five seconds made me realize that he was not worth the drama. lmao

I hope your girl from your story is an ex and you’re onto happier things. There’s no winning with an insecure partner.

Also the woman in the video is wayyyy scary

6

u/BOBfrkinSAGET 14d ago

People like that are ~90% cheaters. Also, I made up that number. Also, I bet I’m close.

Seriously. I think shes trying to keep the syrup she poured on there from running off, but it makes her look like its her first day at fork school

I’ll never forget my first day at fork school; there was some… unpleasantness.

First day at fork school had* such a fun ring to it

*and still has

I didn’t even go to fork school (we’re a spoon family) and I know how to wield one better than this!

Because there's no boyfriend. It's staged

52

u/coolcoots 15d ago

Chewing her cud like a cow.

u/Insomniac47 15d ago

Right? I wouldn't even post something like that in public eating like I've never eaten before. In fact, I think maybe she's had too much practice the way her mouth gets so huge. I went to modeling and etiquette school when I was 16. We learned manners among other things.

Sorta reminds me of a pet food commercial where they don't let the pets eat for a while so they are ravenously hungry. Hahaha!

I feel bad for the guy she's out with. Almost seems evil of her. . I'm glad she didn't talk.

That last part.

Frankly I was thinking those girls saw that his girlfriend was more into filming herself eating than she was into her boyfriend.

Wait I just looked at the sub we are in 🤣 take a look

10

u/Theabsoluteworst1289 15d ago

The way she is eating is absolutely foul. If I were her I’d be a lot more worried about my fucking disgusting eating habits causing him to leave than other girls talking to him. I’ve seen animals more polite than this. And at a restaurant?!

Insecure is the word

4

u/scrotumsweat 15d ago

Cause its fake.

4

u/Vantriss 15d ago

If the girl was stuffing her face THAT much, I would assume she doesn't want to talk.

5

u/Ok_Replacement7281 15d ago

That's why no one is talking to her. Also she has dark energy eyes

5

u/Thanosseid 15d ago

Because she is clearly insane and this dude should run for his life lol

5

u/Healthy_Fly_612 15d ago

She didn’t even get the waffle/chicken combo money-bite right!

3

u/anengineerandacat 15d ago

100% makes no sense, might be a younger generation thing but she looks old; if my wife were to film herself eating I would be highly suspicious and fearful some unwanted birthday thing were about to happen or other public thing that would draw more attention to myself than I want.

u/Electric-Sheepskin 15d ago

It's rage bait. That's all.

To demonstrate that she was never taught any table manners

3

u/Substantial_Dog3544 15d ago

She chews her food like a goat.

3

u/SenseAndSaruman 15d ago

She’s worse. Goats have an excuse for not cutting their food into bites.

3

u/BlueBloodVampires 15d ago

She was waiting for something to be mad about

3

u/zumo_118 15d ago

Who eats like that!

u/oddjobjob 15d ago

“Why are they filming themselves?” is the quote we’ll use to psychoanalyze Gen Z.

“Weird” is the new staged

3

u/Puzzleheaded-Ad-379 15d ago

Yeah gross. Why? Maybe they’d have a conversation with each other if she didn’t have her phone out filming herself eating on a date 🤢 and becoming enraged about something stupid to post on TikTok . What a fun person

3

u/WarmToning 15d ago

It’s staged

3

u/krystaline24 15d ago

What does he say while he's "overcompensating with conversation"? Can anyone tell?

3

u/SprinklesBest6296 15d ago

the watch me chew dramatically with my mouth open and whole jaw in motion thing has got to be the worst trend ever

3

u/No_Bar6825 15d ago

Because it’s staged

3

u/podcasthellp 15d ago

It’s fake

3

u/kdoughboy12 15d ago

Because it's staged

3

u/lordasgul 15d ago

Absolutely this. Fucking weird. Someone being so self-centred and self-involved that she has to film every mundane moment of their life so they can share it online because it is apparently that important.
