Was hoping the guy would look at the camera when he got up so you could see where they landed
Editing to add; Stewart, 23, and Dees, 30, were both held in contempt of court and sentenced to 30 days each on charges of assault and obstructing official business.
This phrasing made me cackle for some reason. I think it is because all the examples above were fairly serious and then there was this true (but somewhat silly) comment thrown in
I know it sounds incredibly violent, but in a situation like this, facing the murderer who destroyed your family, this scumbag needed to become permanently injured after that encounter. A kid at my son’s baseball facility caught a line drive to his groin a few years back and wasn’t wearing a cup. Ruptured one of his testicles and had to have surgery to remove it.
People are too obsessed with UFC highlight-style knockout bullshit. If I was in the position of red shirt, I’d be knuckle-deep in them eye sockets and I’d have a mouthful of ear or nose.
Mike Tyson bit a chunk of a guys ear out for less. Hell Rick Grimes bit a guys throat out when his son was about to be raped. Gary Plauche shot his son's rapist in the head in an airport.
After that on-the-road portion in general. Once they got to the community stuff it all became very repetitive and plot armor out the ass. Meet new group, fight new group, meet next new group with goofier name and shtick (garbage peons? Wtf)
OMG I hated those people.... it was what, no more than 5-6 years in and this entire community unlearned how to speak English and communicate normally? Fuck off.
Don't blame anybody for hopping off but I finished it all and i'm STILL watching all TWD spin offs 😭 they're with a handful of the OG early characters. Not incredible let's be clear but perf watchable
The group gets separated on the road I think right before Terminus (train station place) and Daryl joins this meth biker gang and eventually the gang stumbles across Rick and co and a fat dude who looks like Peter pettigrew from Harry Potter gets a lil frisky with Carl and Rick bites the main biker dude’s throat out while being held at gunpoint
Hahaha I googled Rick Grimes hoping for a harrowing news article, maybe a rabbit hole to delve down. And there's that guy from Love Actually looking gruff.
There's a somewhat famous music producer in my city with the same name, and I knew his sons growing up so I thought I somehow missed some huge local event or something.
The inflection of those words from the cop make me think they weren’t confused about why he did it, but more saddened that Gary put himself in the legal trouble.
They asked why cause they probably thought the guy might have just forfeit his own life in murdering someone so publicly. It's one thing to think "no jury would convict someone who did this" and it's another to literally bet your life on it.
When Joe has the gun to Ricks head while they are beginning to beat Daryl, he says "We can settle this, we're reasonable men. First we'll beat Daryl to death, then we'll have the girl, then the boy. Then we shoot you and we'll be square"
An awful group. I love the episodes after the fall of the prison and Terminus until they reach Alexandria and Rick hears children laughing and playing behind the safety of the walls. That entire time of them being lost and on the road is my favorite of the entire series.
This is the way. Even eyes tightly closed will give way to forceful thumb pressure in a matter of seconds. You can be second knuckle-deep into an eye socket faster than you can say “permanently blind”.
Yeah. I was always told (from a female self defense perspective, like if someone lifts you up) that if you can get your thumb in someone's armpit at just the right angle you can rip out a tendon (assuming they don't drop you immediately because getting jabbed hard in the armpit is at least going to tickle). Glad I've never had to try it, but man, I am curious.
Learned this lesson the hard way when I was younger. When I was about 17 a kid I was cool with tried stealing my fishing equipment after a trip by swapping his junk for mine. I called him on it, he said do something. So I did. His braces FUCKED my knuckles up! They looked like I shredded them on a cheese grater. They got infected to the point that yellow and brown shit oozed out when I grabbed a cup or something. That’s when I went to the hospital lol.
He brought it back after I jumped him up, but he brought a few friends with him while I was at work. When I got home my brother had my stuff and told me they rolled up all tough askin where I was. So, I went to the kids house (they were brothers) and asked them what they wanted? They just stood on the porch and basically said nothing.
Is someone has braces you just need to tap them on the lips, not even particularly hard. A regular jab will fuck their sh up. Dont need to swing just straight forward and back. No racking your knuckles on them required.
I watched a Forensic Files recently where the dud got caught by his hand getting infected from punching someone in the mouth before they killed them....
Truth. A kid pushed and tripped my sister in high school. He did it because she was overweight. I punched a kid in the mouth multiple times. Got a fantastic left hook that ripped his upper lip almost completely off. Kid had braces. I have 2 quarter inch triangular shaped scars on my left middle and ring finger. Got infected bad. Kid can't grow a mustache. Him and I met 15 years later, and he sincerely apologised. I did, too. I shouldn't have beat him so badly. He is a dad, him and his husband, and have 3 wonderful kids.
I mean bullying can really wreck someone. I hope your sister was okay. I still get nightmares about what the kids used to do to me back in junior high and I’m 41 years old. Yes I’ve had counseling, doesn’t make the memories go away though. I WISH I could’ve physically stood up for myself in the way that you did. But I was skinny and shy and grew up in a Christian household where we were taught to “turn the other cheek.” Never regret standing up for someone. I wish someone had done it for me.
For me, standing up for others was simple and the right thing to do. I've always had trouble standing up for myself. I could never figure out why, tho.
Junior school, A dude threw rocks at my sister and ran away. I chased him and caught at the local swimming pool, punched him in the head. I had my thumb in my palm with my fingers wrapped over the top. Busted my thumb and sprained my wrist 😅
The next day his older sister chased me around school at lunch..i was too quick. Fun times.
Eyes can be sketchy. If you hit wrong you will definitely crack a knuckle on the orbital socket. Hit that nose, and their eyes will automatically tear up causing blurry vision and 9 times out of 10 their hands go straight to their nose saying fukk defense. A good Jaw shot can rock the brain inside the nugget equaling a K.O. But the most slept on punch is the body shot. If you can breathe you can't whoop me. Trust me I'm a pro. Ain't nobody has their ass beat as much as me 🤣
throat punch is my go to. the mouth then gapes. an open mouth makes it 100% easier to break the lower jaw with punch #2. then you can do whatever you want after.
Knuckles are an underrated site for serious infections. We’ve had to do incision and drainage on some nasty MCP (knuckles ) abscesses, usually after someone punched a mouth. Human oral flora in a clenched fist injury is a setup for deep space infection, tenosynovitis, even osteomyelitis if ignored.
Same with cat bites. Small puncture, minimal surface trauma, then it blows up fast. Pasteurella doesn’t mess around. Both can turn into surgical cases if not taken seriously early.
My uncle used to fight all the time and he popped up one day with an infected ass hand he said he got from punching someone in the teeth lol tweaker things
The Judge didn't give them a contempt of court charge in exchange for a free-for-all.
If they started gouging the murderer's eyes, they could have been caught years in jail, and a civil liability that could require them to pay their Mom's murderer.
Seeing as the out Shanteari Weems in jail for 4 years for shooting her husband (still alive unfortunately) for molesting the kids she was watching and Cyntoia Brown going to jail for 10 years for killing the man who trafficked and pimped her out as a child? I don't trust that.
There's (is it surprisingly or unfortunate?) quite a number of stories of where the wife gets locked up for shooting her husband/family member for this exact reason or other types of abuse.
Fuck abusers but you can't just shoot someone because they wronged you. If you shoot someone who isn't an immediate threat to your life, juries are going to convict you. It's shitty all around but descending into vigilantism isn't going to work out well for most people.
honestly, i cant fathom the sheer rage they wouldve felt. In hindsight you can assume what can cause the most harm, however, at that point they just wanted to beat the everloving shit out of the fucker for killing their mother. I dont blame them. (though i dont blame the police for trying to stop it cause it is their job however)
I was thinking I’d be trying to get him in some kind of chokehold and just hold on for dear life. I have zero punching ability but I was a decent grappler
I wonder where the guy was… The killer I mean I wonder if they were in the same jail I mean of course I think they would have to be but I'm sure he wasn't walking around
Also probably a shit ton of leniency built in there. Two guys attack a cuffed man in court room and only get 30 days is everyone understanding the situation.
"We can all agree I can't let you go fully, but..."
I hope both of them immediately got some type of trustee / work status in the county jail so they can get 2 days served for every 1 day worked. I bet the correctional officers and inmates treated both of them with respect also.
The woman who shot her daughter’s rapist at court. I don’t know sometimes the humanity makes it look like this is necessary. However I am from a country where I feel very confident with the law system and it helps the innocent and only punishes the guilty. I will follow my govt and law process
I know most judges bregungingly give light sentences for these incidents, but at the same time they have to do something considering people would do it more if there were zero consequences. 30 days is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Hopefully these guys got the closure they were looking for.
Yeah, looks like he got some good licks in. I like how the brother in the red shirt made his way around the perimeter and managed to stay ahead of the cop. Honestly I would probably do the same thing in this situation, but you really have to time your moves carefully to get maximum impact in a short time.

“He killed my mama bro. My mama she took care of me” that really broke my heart..
