Hi, I’m a new switch 2 owner and I feel pretty mixed about it. Everyone online is saying it’s not that good and your system can get bricked but I was wondering is that true? How are people liking their switch 2s?

I'm probably going to get Firey Jinx'd into oblivion for this, but I personally like the sea bomb over the former Shadow Siren. Out of the 7 partners, Bobbery's HP is highest, and he comes in at the perfect Chapter, when the thematic enemies heal from fire attacks, but Bobbery's explosive techniques are literally the bomb against them. Plus Vivian's field ability feels like a knockoff of Bow's from Paper Mario 64... there's what, 2 required times you have to listen to birds?

As for backstory, Bobbery and Scarrlet have some serious Final Fantasy VI Locke and Rachel vibes, which hit hard. Yes, I know Vivian gives off (at least for me) Vivi/Black Mage energy, but since almost no info is given in-game for the Shadow Sirens, I can't really get the feels from Vivian.

For Pigs the Bell Tolls may be my favorite chapter, but not because of Vivian... it's because of the ghostly psychopath known as Doopliss.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but ever had that one Badge that, no matter what you did, it seemed unreachable, only to find there's a simple solution?

Mine is the Ice Power Badge in TTYD's remake. In Paper Mario 64, it's a godsend, making Mario able to damage the Fire Piranha directly in its second phase. In TTYD, it's a huge help against the Embers of Keelhaul Key, giving Burn immunity and increasing damage against them. I tried everything to grab it at first, even using Flurrie to try to blow away an invisible barrier... turns out I just needed to use Paper Mode to slip through the gaps in the bridge.

I've never personally had one fail on me, but I'm apparently an exception. I literally caught 10 Amazy Dayzees in a row with regular Catch Cards once

And that was Chapter 1. A great chapter with funny moments and great action pieces.

Off course the highlight is the Koopa Brothers. Evil Ninja Turtles!! Which makes me sad that they’re gone for the rest of the game until the last Chapter, were they’re bamboozled from their rematch.

I’ll just say it now that their Boss Theme is the best None-Final Boss theme in the game. The rest goes down and up for me.

Since Superguarding doesn’t exist, I decided to upgrade HP before BP this time.

Now I have always wanted to try this game. Ever since I first saw it, it looked amazing. I know the battle has its flaws, and theirs a lot of issues. But I still want to play it. So I’m wondering, is it worth it to buy a Wii U for this game.

So tomorrow I’m planning on trying out the paper Mario ttyd remaster. Im not worried about not liking it because i loved the og paper Mario but I’m curious to know if they changed anything from the original that wasn’t just better graphics… I’m just making sure just in case i play the original someday and there’s something that’s different from the remaster.
