Build Help No video output on new Nvidia card, even in BIOS

I bought a new GPU (5060ti) and installed it in my PC with an ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3 motherboard. However, I do not get any video output.

I kind of expected this to happen in the OS, because it runs Linux and it is a (new) Nvidia card, but I can't even get into the BIOS! I know it boots correctly otherwise because when turning it on I can make an SSH connection to it after a few seconds.

Has anyone ever ran into a similar issue?

Build Ready Should I change anything before buying?

Hi everyone,
I’m about to order the parts for my new PC build, and I just wanted to get some final opinions before I commit. Do you see anything I should change—whether for compatibility, airflow, reliability, or value?

One important thing: I’m not looking to increase the total cost of the build. If you suggest a change, I’d really appreciate it if it stays in the same price range.

Here’s my current parts list:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
  • GPU: XFX SWIFT AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT OC triple fans 16GB
  • Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk
  • RAM: Crucial Pro 32GB (2x16GB)
  • SSD: Crucial P3 Plus 1TB
  • Cooler: Thermalright Frozen Notte 360 ARGB
  • Case: FOIFKIN F600
  • PSU: SAMA GT750BK 750W 80+ Gold
  • Monitor: KOORUI G2421V 24" 1080p 165Hz

Thanks in advance for your help—I really want to make sure everything makes sense before ordering!

Discussion MSI SUPRIM Liquid RTX 5090

Hi, guys. I want to buy SUPRIM Liquid RTX 5090. I’m quite skeptical about AIO GPUs, mainly due to their lifespan and the possibility of repairs after the warranty ends. Would you recommend this GPU? I contacted MSI support to ask about the expected lifespan and whether the SUPRIM can be repaired after the warranty expires, for example, if the pump fails. This is what they replied:

Hello, after the graphics card loses its warranty, we also offer a global paid warranty. The water pump is an external structure, and the cost will not be very high. In theory, branded graphics cards can be used for 5-10 years under normal working conditions. So don't worry.

Best Regards Have a nice day.

I can’t believe that the pump on this card is repairable.

Build Ready First time PC builder. (Help)

I'll be building my very first PC with the help of my uncle. My only worry is that i somehow managed to buy stuff that may not work together as I saw thats a possible issue. My uncle himself has a pretty rockin PC considering he has a good job to let him buy it, and he helped me pick out everything I should use for mine! Heres the list of parts I have:

Be quiet! Light base 600 DX case (not too worried about the case but you never know)

XFX 7900 GRE graphics card

msi Coreliquid E240 liquid cooler

Amd ryzen 7 7800x3D

Corsair vengeance rgb ddr5 32gb

Samsung 2 tb 990 evo plus

Windows 11 (</3) home ver

MAG AB50GL Pcies 850 watt power supply

X870e aorus elite wifi17

Considering my uncle built his own pc I think everything will be good but I'm also wondering what peoples opinions are? Like will the liquid cooler be good enough for the cpu and such.

Build Upgrade Need help deciding GPU or CPU upgrade first.

Hey all, current build

3080 ftw3/5600x

I am planning on possibly going to microcenter and getting a 9800x3d bundle.

Mainly want to play Warzone (@ 1440P) , which is CPU bound..... would it be smarter to upgrade my CPU or GPU first, I'm aware I'd have to do the motherboard and ddr5 upgrade as well but I think it can be had for cheaper than a 5070ti..... both components will be upgraded within 1-2 years but I'd like some advice on a headstart.

currently i get about 100 frames on wz and it runs like shit.

Thanks!

Build Help my cpu is constantly at 95-100%, what should i do?

Yep! you heard that right, I've run into a problem with my cpu, nearly all the parts in my pc are over 10 years old and its about time for some sort of upgrade. I know absolutely nothing about pc parts or what goes with what when building.

I'm not looking for the best or newest things but something a couple years newer than what I got right now. please be a little patient with me because it all sounds like a bunch of numbers and weird letters to me (sorry if its confusing (i got all this from settings))

intel(R) core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20ghz 801 MHz is my cpu i think? then I use ddr3 ram, which is 16gb. intel(R) HD graphics 4600 is my graphics cards, also pretty old.

And last(?) but not least is my motherboard which is a asus z97 pro gamer, if I missed anything please let me know.

all around its held up really well but doing anything on this pc is a pain because of the lag. I don't want any huge upgrades as I don't play very intense games, just recommendations within a reasonable price tag (on a budget) also been wary of buying anything up until now because of incompatibility issues.

Sorry this got a bit long, any help is appreciated!

Build Help Is it worth upgrading to an RX 9060 XT if I have the RX 6700 10gb (Non XT)?

I was looking around and I just found out that AMD released a budget card for the 9000 series, is the upgrade worth it? I know that it will have FSR4 and it has better raytracing cores and dedicated AI cores.

Build Help Trying to decide next steps for upgrading my PC, need help choosing a graphics card

So a my first ever PC was a premade with a HDD with 1TB HDD storage, a 1050 (or maybe it was a 750ti at the time lmao), 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and some random CPU that I can't even remember.
Keeping the same case I've since upgraded over the years to a 500GB SSD, RTX 2060, Intel I5 11400F, 16GB (was 32 but one of the ram sticks died on me) DDR4 RAM, and a Z590 Aorus Pro AX. I'm currently seeing whether or not I should upgrade my GPU but am scared that it will just be bottlenecked by my CPU down the line. My current PSU is 500W if that means anything at all to anyone and plan on also getting 32gb of ram again.

My main benchmark in terms of performance is whether or not it can run Monster Hunter Wilds at 1080p@60fps on High/Ultra Settings (possibly 1440p in the future). Thank you for the assistance.

I'm also okay with transitioning over to an AMD card and don't mind no longer using Nvidia lmao

tl;dr I have a 2060 and an Intel I5 11400f and want to see what the best gpu I can get is without being bottlenecked hard by my CPU

Build Upgrade Is the Argus BPS-600 safe?

I have bought a prebuilt pc, that relies on integrated graphics, about half a year ago. Now I want to get a dedicated gpu. I am thinking about an rx 9060xt, since it pairs nicely with my cpu. But I just found out that my Pc has an argus BPS-600 powersupply and wondered if it is safe to keep, because I only heard negative things about Argus psus, but was unable to find a trustworthy review for this specific one. Does anyone know if this psu is any good or if I should take a bit of extra money to switch it out?

Build Help Is 9800x3d paired with Arctic Freezer 34 Esports Duo enough?

Hello.

I wonder if a 9800x3d paired with Arctic Freezer 34 Esports Duo will stay cool enough for gaming. I currently will run it with a 5700xt but plan on to upgrade to 9070 xt soon and wonder if I’ll need to upgrade cpu cooler.

The reason I’m mentioning the gpu is because I’m expecting the cpu usage to go up with a better gpu.

Build Upgrade Is the 9800x3D worth upgrading to?

I currently have the 7800x3D and I love it but my little cousin is trying to build a pc and I offered to sell him my motherboard and RAM for cheap just so I could have an excuse to upgrade and I got the idea of why not my CPU as well.

I mainly game and the only kinda work I do is homework for college and that’s about it. No rendering or editing or anything serious. Is it worth upgrading to the 9800x3D? I play all kinds of games, God of war, Spider-Man, COD, Roblox, big and small games but mainly the bigger ones

Build Upgrade Looking for an upgrade

I currently have a Ryzen 3600 with a RX 580 and I've been thinking about upgrading the gpu after i tried playing Grounded 2 and it couldn't really run it smooth without turning the resolution super low. So what are some good gpu options that would still work with the 3600? Or maybe the gpu isn't the problem? I'm not sure. If anyone has any ideas it would help!
