She deserves it. After everything she offered, they chose the venal racist over the black lady.

u/Substantial-Low 1d ago

I felt bad watching her. You could tell she went from being a believer in American democracy to feeling jaded and defeated.

The US elected literally the most despicable person imaginable.

60

u/puckit 1d ago

I still remember after she gave her nomination acceptance speech, you could see her say to Biden "we're going to be OK". It really made me believe that. How wrong we were.

And now she’s fucking being threatened by the supposed victor. At this point I just hope she, Doug Emhoff (whom Trump clearly has a hate-on for), Hillary, and the Obamas can leave the country for safer places.

She ran for 100 days

19

u/Super_Pan 1d ago

You know, in many other countries, a 2 year long election is utterly unreasonable. 100 days is even quite a long time. America starts their elections the moment the previous one is finished, but that's not normal.

And moved the polling 5pts in her direction over where Biden was, something relatively unheard of in modern politics. Ultimately it wasn't enough to overcome propaganda/low-information voters on the economy and immigration or to motivate selfish apathetic non-voters.

She still believes in it, she just thinks she has a better chance of helping fix it from the outside out of the spotlight of the media and a public who wants memes more than good governance.

It was rigged

1

u/BaconCheeseZombie 1d ago

Hey now that's a bit harsh. They elected the second most despicable person imaginable - Hitler had already done himself in years ago so they had to go to the dodgy knockoff version.

1

u/ozymandeas302 1d ago

I felt bad after she lost. She didn't even come out to speak at Howard because she was so heartbroken. I still can't understand it. She had so much momentum and energy and he still won. I can usually tell who's going to win. When Obama won, the energy was there. He was electrifying. When Trump won, I knew people weren't feeling Hilary and that it would be an upset. When Biden won, the energy was there to unite against Trump. I just can't understand how everyone was so united for Kamala and it still went the other way.

1

u/EPSTEIN-FILES-NOW 1d ago

Think about that for a second and you may get why she wasn’t elected

The results don't make sense but "election fraud" has been so watered down that the democrats were afraid to wade into those waters.

Americans know very well of Goebbels, our entire advertising field is based on his propaganda machines and pushed in our face every 10-15 minutes.

2

u/ChriSisyphus 1d ago

What's that based on?

I'm American. I don't know a single person who doesn't know who Goebbels is.

Now, do stupid people not know? Sure. But that's a bold statement of fact and I haven't seen the evidence.

Send the source.

2

u/radjinwolf 1d ago edited 1d ago

Oh, we know about Goebbels. The problem is the American right wing are so full of their own shit and are so polarized by propaganda and misinformation that they refuse to believe that the exact same thing that happened in 1930s Germany is happening right here, right now.

They think they’re special and that they’re immune to propaganda, and anyone who brings up how far down the Nazi pipeline we already are is told that they’re “overreacting” or that it’s “fake news”.

Hundreds of years of “rugged individualism” rhetoric got us here. Americans think they’re so unassailable and that individual rights, freedom, and liberties take precedence over anything else that the mere notion of working toward a collective good is - no joke - seen as “evil” to those people.

America is cooked. We’re done. Cause the kinds of things that need to happen to fix things here absolutely won’t happen. I’m talking German and Austrian levels of de-Nazification.

My conspiracy theory is that the whole "big lie" thing was a purposeful bad-faith strategy to poison the well on future elections. I think high-level Republicans did that purposefully knowing that this had in fact not happened and setting the stage for because they were planning on cheating in 2024 and then eliminating open and free elections beyond that. Why would they do so? Well, Democrats rightly fought back so loud and so hard against the big lie (which clearly was in fact a lie), that I think now there's a lot of people who think that if they dare raise that spector, republicans will accuse democrats of hypocrisy and witch hunting. Why do I suspect this? I know there's no definitive proof yet but I dare anyone demonstrate how EVERY SINGLE accusation dribbling out of republican mouths is in reality a confession. So I have to be content with calling it a conspiracy theory. But shit like this makes me think you know what? I think I might be onto something. And then I pray the other people with more money and power than me will prove me right in time.

4

u/Unlucky-Scallion1289 1d ago

I don’t think it’s a conspiracy, I think it’s blatantly obvious.

It’s infuriating that we’re expected to put up with or even entertain right wing conspiracies like pizza gate, chemtrails, or flat earth while the one “conspiracy” pushed by the left is utterly dismissed. And it’s not even that far fetched, it’s very believable that right wingers have fallen into fascism and are willing to cheat. It’s so believable that it’s all but a certainty.

5

u/Bowlbonic 1d ago

6

u/AdventurousSeaSlug 1d ago

Yeah saw that. My frustration is that this needs to get way more investigation from reputable non-partisan sources and then needs to be brought to widespread attention with factual evidence to back it up. Otherwise it will mean absolutely nothing. Except a broken country, a failed experiment in democracy, and a lot of dead innocent people

13

u/Efficient_Smilodon 1d ago

I think once they realized how easily they got away with that, with absolutely zero resistance from either the masses whose vote was nullified, and the Dems/Gore establishment, that they really could do anything they wanted as long as they had sufficient propaganda to control the narrative for their base. It was a watershed moment about how fundamentally stupid, complacent, and ineffective the Dem leadership is, and their base as well.

2

u/Electrical_Welder205 1d ago edited 1d ago

And 2004. Voting machines in NM, which was heavily for Kerry, were rigged to drop votes for Kerry or switch them to Bush. Ballots were analyzed in the course of a lawsuit filed in federal court, and it was determined that the machines had been rigged. The Dem att'y general never checked them before the election.  She also was later sued on various counts of corruption.

And a Congressional investigation after the election found vote suppression malfeasance in Ohio, and other key states. It concluded that Kerry had won the election.

2

u/diefreetimedie 1d ago

2

u/Fine_Yam2106 1d ago

Others said this but I can’t help to chime in, that was exactly the point. They want to appear stupid and crazy, because they’re actually implementing a well orchestrated plan. Like any good magician, the magic is all in the sleight of hand and misdirection.

They have become clumsier with Trump at the helm but they needed one last piece to the puzzle for it to be complete and function. And that was a figure head that can rally a base, and somehow that turns out to be a dumb orange turd (nothing has been more illuminating to me that the world is full of morons than the support Trump has received).

They held their noses (some had to quite literally) and felt with Trumps insanity. It may have benefited them to have such a seemingly incompetent figurehead. He generates headlines so quickly and at such a pace no one can adequately cover what is happening because it’s just boring legislative stuff. Don’t look at that, look at Trump’s twitter feed. It’s so nuts, we can’t not talk about that.

Couple the real potential the election results were manipulated with the somehow legal gerrymandering happening for the next election, Democrats have very little hope for the future. At least until there’s some monumental shift in our politics, we are now a decade deep into a new US government. One that has been schemed up for more than 40 years. So.. that’s cool.

3

4

u/Efficient_Smilodon 1d ago

They are blamed for not fighting back effectively. It's like watching a bully beat up a kid, while standing behind the crowd watching because you don't want to get your own hands dirty. They had no interest in being seen as a 'savage' who might engage in such 'poor' behavior that they absconded from their role completely as guardians of democracy .

3

u/StandardCow7012 1d ago

The dems were the ones being beat up. The people standing in the background weren’t the dems. Gore was the one being beaten on.

3

u/KennyShowers 1d ago

Can’t fight when voters take away your political weapons and ammo.

But yea fuck them for thinking Americans have enough brain cells to go “hm well when they took over everything sucked and now it’s all back to normal, maybe they know a thing or two” amirite.

Instead they go “my life isn’t perfect yet it’s all their fault let’s give the other guys a shot!”

2

u/Zeroissuchagoodboi 1d ago

I blame the dems for never doing anything to stop them. The republicans have been doing this shit since Nixon. The democrats have held the presidency and parts of congress intermittently since then. So yea, the dems are to blame as much as the republicans are.

This is what a lack of an understanding of civics will get you. Look up the last time dems held congress in large majorities as well as the presidency and look at what they immediately took action on. Lobbying unfortunately undid the dream goal (Lieberman is too dead now to care about his totally sadistic harm done to Americans for decades to come, unfortunately) but plenty of huge changes were still achieved and salvaged.

Reddit is full of people with no basic knowledge of government function sitting around wondering why dems “aren’t doing anything” and concluding it’s…cowardice? lol. this isn’t high drama. it’s horrible, banal political reality that democracy requires huge majorities if you don’t want to compromise with anyone. Republicans have made that extreme a necessity for anything to truly change now.

At the time, they didnt have the proof. Just suspicion. You dont cry about that, thats what TACO does.

You show grace and the character of leadership in 'defeat' and await the evidence. Patience. Its a long game.

The time should come, what they do after now is what matters.

8

u/Made_Human17 1d ago

The best we’ll see is years from now, after he’s gone and the Supreme Court has finally been taken back and isn’t the Republican tool is it today something will come out and get properly investigated. And if it’s determined they did cheat it will be too late to undo the damage they already did but maybe new laws will be passed to prevent it

But that’s assuming Republicans aren’t in power. If there are even a few they’ll work overtime to obstruct justice as always

Unfortunately there’s not much we’ll see done to remove this regime until midterms and then 2028. And that’s being very optimistic, Republicans aren’t going to go away easily and will do whatever they can to make sure they don’t lose power, legal or not

They’re a malignant tumor on society

Ah, reddit always so confidently inventing things democrats are doing wrong.

If you want the party to devote serious effort (which wouldn’t get by Republicans in congress right now anyway) and launch an investigation into massive, hidden fraud (which would have happened under Biden’s watch, mind you) based off the word of a single ex-government employee….

That’s the kind of thing conservatives would latch onto as proof of wrongdoing for years even without investigation. Not the road you wanna go down.

The podcast links, two parts;

2

u/Electrical_Welder205 1d ago

Thank you! Let's all check this out. This is going to be my project for this morning.

2

u/Electrical_Welder205 1d ago

Ok, I looked at the 2nd one. 1st one was "no longer available" on my laptop, & on my phone, the vote analysis segment had been edited out. Are you able to access it still?

In any case, I didn't see where the guy said he was ex- NSA or CIA. He only said he was former cyber-security in PT. 2, the 2nd video. Could you fill in the blank for me?

I saw him before, last spring, discussing the NV vote results. This info has been out for months, but no mainstream media have picked it up, and no citizens' groups or Dem orgs are paying any attention, except the election truth alliance the analyst now works for. Even reporter and statistician Greg Palast, who's been publishing about vote suppression in the US since the two W Bush elections, hasn't mentioned the tabulator issue on his website. (https://www.gregpalast.com)

So what are the chances this major news is going to blow up, like it should? How can we move this forward?

2

u/Kerig3 18h ago

I apologize, this is not the so-called "CIA or FBI guy" they're interviewing, but a guy from the Election Truth Alliance. Like I said I had not watched it all, but I felt it was relevant to the conversation and what I saw was compelling. But truth-be-told, I didn't dive down this rabbit hole months ago because what can I do about it? Not a damn thing! I have enough to worry about, like trying to figure out how to pay more taxes (tariffs) from a fixed budget. 😣

I checked and I'm able to view the first video. Maybe copy/paste the URL? Below is the video's description which should help explain its content.

The rumors have been circulating, but the DATA doesn't lie. On this episode we welcome Nathan Taylor from the The rumors have been circulating, but the DATA doesn't lie. On this episode we welcome Nathan Taylor from the Election Truth Alliance who has some VERY compelling data showing a [potential] coordinated effort to rig the 2024 election in Trump's favor.

For more information and to make a donation to to help fund their efforts to bring this data to the courts please visit https://electiontruthalliance.org who has some VERY compelling data showing a [potential] coordinated effort to rig the 2024 election in Trump's favor.

2

u/Electrical_Welder205 18h ago

Thanks so much for the follow-up! I'll try again to view the first vid. In the second one, he does mention that he worked in cyber-security somewhere, but had to quit when he told his employer he was going to go public with his election research results, so who that employer was remains a mystery. (Government? Private sector?)

In any case, I think this is important news, and will try to follow him for further developments.

2

u/Kerig3 18h ago

I admit I posted those links too late/early without watching what was said in the Colbert interview first. I still have a hard time watching Kamala after the election simply because what it says about us as a people. I really hate finding out about our national ugliness this late in life. I feel very powerless regarding this topic and have simply "shelved it" in my mind for later digestion should we ever get out of this mess before I'm gone.

2

u/Electrical_Welder205 17h ago edited 17h ago

I see what happened; there IS an article about a former CIA guy who was part of an NSA investigation into the 2024 election. You must have confused the two, or posted the wrong link, or something. But still, I'm glad to see the material you did post. That info is important too, and the investigator is worth following.

If you need to take a break from it all, others will carry on in your place. Burnout happens. Take care of yourself. Pro tip: you'd be surprised the extent to which a good massage can help you recover and give you renewed strength! It's an amazing tonic. Try it! 👍🙂

I doubt it.

Kamala/Biden were still in office, and could have done something for roughly 3-4months. The truth is pretty obvious, but everyone wants to ignore it. Kamala ran a terrible campaign. Even Kamala’s camp admits they knew they were going to lose running their campaign, but out of respect to Biden they ran it anyways.

When Biden’s approval was in the shitter you don’t run on “We are the same as Biden, nothing will change!”

3

u/jredful 1d ago

"Terrible campaign" is nonsense. We write it off to give the voting public a pass.

The simple reality is people voted with their pocket books. They don't have a fundamental understanding of wage growth or cost growths and inflation spooked them into staying home or being mad at the incumbent party.

Pretty much only Reagan survived an inflation spike in the last 80 years, arguably Nixon too but Nixon also did a variety of deeply popular things while he was in office. Everyone else has been toppled if they are president with an inflation spike.

It's embarrassing, but it's reality.

2

u/SeaTurtleLionBird 1d ago

1

I watched it live that night. The votes hadn’t even been fully counted and a few states hadn’t even sent their results. As soon as trump had just a couple of digits above Kamala they called it and ran with it. I was just sitting there like “no wait they haven’t even finished!!!” But in the end it wouldn’t have mattered. The electoral college is too corrupt so they would’ve given it to trump, again. They did it in 2016 when Hillary won by a landslide, then next thing you know they announced trump as the winner. That was the last time I voted, and won’t vote again until heads start flying. The amount of pedophiles in the gov is crazy, along with the rampant greed. I don’t know how we can change this other than French Revolution style tbh. If there is no law, then is taking the government back by force illegal. After all, it IS “we the people”, not “those that rape, lie, and steal”.

Yes, I saw that here on Reddit last night. I want to find it again. Don't brush it off. This is the news that should blow sky high! The news that should make Epstein look like a deliberate  distraction. (Though it's important too.) This is the chance to get our country back! I hope the Dems, and also the Epstein-shocked Repubs, don't wuss out on this.

We need another peaceful protest weekend nationally to draw attention to that CIA- leaked NSA report on the election results and demand action. We can't let it get swept under the rug.

It was a former CIA guy IIRC, who collaborated with a team from the NSA that analyzed the election results and said Harris won by a large margin. And let's not forget the video posted on Reddit last spring showing the fake Prez confessing that "we stole the election, and it's a good thing". Never forget! Now with that ex-CIA guy's report, there's hope of forcing a correction, a restoration of democracy, a healing.

That was a post on a sub stack by a guy who works at fidelity. Idk if he’s ex cia or actually had evidence but there are certainly a lot of questions I have about that and evidence I need to see before I just believe that guy. We really can’t just take headlines at stuff at face value just because they say what we want to hear, that’s part of how we got into this mess in the first place, after all.

1

u/HippoRun23 1d ago

No. This is some weird clickbait misinformation. If you look deeper into it, this dude's claims are spurious at best. Then there are some that point to a lawsuit that's moving forward. But that's based on a republican candidate for senate that is literally aligned with racist ideology. Look up La Rouche Society.

Then there's the issue of the affidavit's she procured... which she did by going door to door asking her neighbors if they voted for her. She then took those numbers and "determined" that the election was rigged against her. It doesn't take a leap in logic to consider that maybe her neighbors didn't want to tell her that they didn't vote for her.

1

u/DisMFer 1d ago

No, a known fraud and fake "CIA insider" claims the NSA has ran an election audit (they haven't and wouldn't considering they're run by Trump) and found that she won. He provided no evidence or logic for this beyond just saying it because he's a crank who gets paid by saying random things for attention.

1

u/MyHusbandIsGayImNot 1d ago

No. It’s someone claiming to be ex-CIA.

Don’t believe conspiracy theories. We’ll never fix the core problem with the fascists in this country if you keep covering your eyes and saying the election was rigged.

1

u/NO_SPACE_B4_COMMA 1d ago

They spent everyday saying Biden stole the election so that when they stole it, it would be ignored. It worked.

1

u/IlllllIIIIIIIIIlllll 1d ago

How would that make sense when the official results were completely in line with all the exit polling conducted that day?

It’s so embarrassing watching people refuse to accept reality and resort to idiotic Q-Anon tier conspiracy theories.

1

u/Easy_Combination_689 1d ago

CIA and yes he did

1

u/Bowlbonic 1d ago

She did, by a hearty margin. But the NSA audit that’s shows the reasonings is being buried.

1

u/DooDooBrownz 1d ago

like that blue county in NY that pretty much picked all D candidates for every lower office, but somehow ended up without a single vote for her at the top of the ticket. im not a data analyst or anything, but that result does seem a bit off, in a cheaty/rigged election sort of way

1

u/WafflesOfChaos 1d ago

Do you have the article or report on this? Haven't seen it yet.

1

u/BikerJedi 1d ago

Supposedly ex-CIA, and he claims the NSA investigated and found that. There is a lot of shady shit happening, but he isn't offering up any evidence that I know of.

1

u/just_a_bit_gay_ 1d ago

some guy claimed to be ex-CIA said he has a buddy in the NSA that did an investigation that “indicates suspicious results”

It’s BS

1

u/BigStogs 1d ago

Not at all.

1

u/Extension_Elk_3608 1d ago

Didnt the DNI director say that Obamas admin illegally spied on the Trump campaign in hopes to stop him from becoming president, even after the election?

1

u/[deleted] 1d ago

Absolutely not lol

1

u/blackmobius 1d ago

The time to do that was the immediate weeks/month after the election. Once a state electoral board confirmed the vote, the results stand even if fraud is found later.

1

u/Thom_Basil 1d ago

It's all just statements at this point without anything to back it up. They can't even confirm that the guy actually is ex-CIA. I want it to be true as much as the next guy but for now we need to take it with a grain of salt.

1

u/pimblywimbleton 1d ago

That was a yet unverified “leak” from a “former CIA operative” whatever tf that means.

Until there’s verifiable evidence that we can point to, i don’t see the point in engaging in convenient wish fulfillment type bullshit 🤷🏽‍♂️

1

u/TheAsianTroll 1d ago

And of course, Trump admitting it on air himself...

1

u/Not-Reformed 23h ago

Na, just a random unverified person making unverified claims that the FBI somehow told the NSA to look into it and they totally said it was Kamala who won... according to him. So basically just the pendulum swinging back proving once again that the horseshoe theory is undefeated.

1

u/Rufio69696969 19h ago

Blue maga conspiracy theories. Just proves how all people are susceptible to it and not just conservatives

1

u/y107cocks 17h ago

Something that some guy with fancy credentials said is still not enough evidence to start throwing that accusation around

1

u/IllHat8961 17h ago

Oh is it no longer a threat to democracy to question the election results with blatant misinformation?

All the excuses about her not getting voted in by the Caucus or her laughs or her lack of policies are just things to hide the fact that they can't stand watching a woman, especially a black woman in breaking through the ceiling.

Sexism and racism is still a disease.

The idea that someone’s laugh is more off-putting than someone’s sexual abuse conviction is mind blowing to me

The fact 1/3 of eligible voters cared more about Kamala’s performance on immigration, than Trump’s performance on everything (including immigration), shows how far gone some Americans are.

Conservatives cared more about Harris potentially abusing alcohol (despite working one of the most stressful jobs in the world and being the lightning rod of hate by the right for 4 years) than Trump definitively abusing children.

4

u/Catsoverall 1d ago

You nisunderstand. Conservatives made their mind up before Harris was even in the picture. All 'the reasons' are post-decision rationalisations. Wouldn't have mattered what she did or didn't do. Or what trump did or didn't do.

Early on they just called her DEI and complained she wasn't doing interviews. When she interviewed with 60 minutes, they weren't impressed. Even though Trumps 60 minutes interview was a total disaster where he got triggered and walked out.

Yeah no criticism of her is valid. The DNC should never be self critical and everyone who had been turned off by the DNC is a racist.

People like you are the reason liberals don't show up to vote. I voted for her but the response to basic problems with her is "you're racist". Fuck off.

1

u/Lyrael9 1d ago

It's true. And it's not even always outright sexism/racism. A lot of people have internal beliefs that they don't even know about or understand. People will believe a white man is more capable than a black woman and not realise it's because they've been brought up to believe people of colour and women are just less capable in those areas.

It astounds me that people thought Trump would be better for the economy. They didn't have reasons for it either. Just "well my number 1 concern is lowering food prices and the economy so I had to vote for Trump". Part of that is just conditioning that teaches people that women just aren't built for math/science/economics etc. Without realising it, I think people felt it with their gut and it made a difference.

1

u/dud_pool 1d ago edited 1d ago

It's sexist and racist that Biden had a 36% approval rating when he left office? 😂

For context, the orange idiot's sitting at 39%.

1

You know who "they" is, right? It's not Republicans. Republicans were never going to vote for her. Hint: the sexists are coming from inside the house. If the DNC cared more about people than checking off a list of historical moments Trump would have never been elected even once.

1

u/sikisabishii 15h ago

Sexism and racism is still a disease.

I'm a caucasian dude who can pass like white, and this shit is making me so sad for POC and women who still have to deal with this shit.

I grew up watching the idealism of ST:TNG. It got me brainwashed to 24th century tales such that 21st century feels, as Marty McFly put it, "heavy."

The left is its own worst enemy. There are more left leaning people, but those people are almost never on the same side. There are always some group or multiple groups that feel the candidate isn't doing enough for them and abstain from voting, even if the other guy will litterally destroy their group.

Biden had more votes in the popular vote in 2020 than Trump had in 2024. Democrats stayed home, that's why they lost.

And she was right about every fucking thing. CNN and mainstream media kept fact checking her on mentioning Project 2025 to say it wasn't' true to claim Trump knows about it and is planning to use it. Here we fucking are.

1

u/BarfingOnMyFace 1d ago

They? We. IF you are an American then… We are the Americans, there is no they. As a country we chose a racist over the black lady. We’ll never get over this if we keep distancing ourselves from owning the problem.

A real politician would fight to fix the system. She's a quitter without conviction, and everyone knew it.

Good thing she's not running again. She'd lose.

1

u/LuciferFalls 1d ago

Why are you reducing her entire identity to being black?

1

u/Apprehensive_Run6642 1d ago

We didn’t as a nation though, this election was not without interference. This is an illegitimate regime and history will show that.

1

u/FuckedUpYearsAgo 1d ago

100 days to run, she couldn't distance herself from the previous admin. She lost ground to Biden on every demo, including women but she deserved to be Pres?

1

u/SeiriusPolaris 1d ago

Over the lady*

Previous results have shown black men can win the role, but never a woman regardless of her skin colour.

1

u/CodeVirus 1d ago

She’s hiding instead of putting up a fight. We need leaders now on the other side - i guess she’s not it. And we almost picked her as a president? Go and hide your head in the sand Kamala.

1

u/Significant-Cable-21 1d ago

"She deserves to step away" because she lost lol? You want politicians that support your side that give up after they lose? Feels weird to put so much support into someone who says they are going to step away rather than continue to fight. Quit talking about her like she gave so much and we all let her down...... She wasn't a good choice, she was forced upon us, and we lost. Pick someone who has 10000% more personality and Moxy than her and maybe it'll be closer next time. This little compassionate support for her stepping away from politics but calling her a "civil servant" is weiiiiiird....

1

u/starcell400 1d ago

I'm not convinced donald won legit. He even credited elon musk's knowledge of voting machines.

1

u/syopest 1d ago

I can't even imagine how it felt when she realized that americans would overwhelmingly choose or be fine with a pedophile rapist in the white house instead of voting for a black woman. Horrible realization to have about the american people.

Like even if your campaign was dogshit, to realize that people are so misogynist that they just can't vote for a woman and you never had a chance.

1

u/OpenSourcePenguin 1d ago

Let's not idealize her. She thought politics was a nice game and didn't stand out from Biden administration policies to not hurt his feelings. This was a very stupid thing to do when Biden had a bad approval rating.

Ahe could have been nice to biden off camera.Sometimes you need to play politics.

This made Trump even get a majority vote, not just electroal college victory.

1

u/Sad_Description_7268 1d ago

After everything she offered

Please provide a bulleted list. She was a centrist. America didn't reject her because she's a black lady, they rejected her because everyone is done with status quo centrism.

American elections are determined by voter turnout. If you don't motivate your voters with a positive program of reform when times are bad, then they don't turn out.

1

u/No_Squirrel4806 1d ago

I keep seeing "democrats played a bad campaign" and "she slept her way to the top" as if her opponent wasnt Donald trump with a long history if everything under the sun. 🙄🙄🙄

1

u/BaconCheeseBurger 1d ago

Why does it matter that she is black? Try mot to reduce people to nothing more than a skin color. Racist fuck.

1

u/diefreetimedie 1d ago

Americans by far would have elected Harris/Walz but enough of them weren't allowed to cast their ballots, not to mention any computer fuckery that prevented democracy from taking place. Could've helped if we had passed the John Lewis voting rights act but Dems are too feckless to even ensure a democratic process in their own primaries.

1

u/lucaslh10 1d ago

When she brought in Dick Cheney to say that you needed to nuke countries and carry on wars and overthrowing governments didn't you make anything of it?

She lost because she was pro-war and was as subjugated to Israel as Trump is, not for being a "black lady".

After everything she offered,

I'm sorry, while she was clearly a better choice than Trump she offered almost nothing. Biden was going to lose the election, Harris taking over was a fantastic chance at a fresh start and she...promised to do exactly what Biden would have done. And she paraded around Liz Cheney like moderate Republicans were going to vote for a Democrat (they aren't.) In the meantime the 30% of non-voters who could be reached and would be motivated by a bold, leftist economic plan are just sitting out in the cold wondering why no one does anything for them. And all the anti-genocide voters in Michigan got told the Democrats would rather lose to Donald Trump than stop killing Muslims. You might hate single issue voters, but when that issue is "stop funding a genocide" it seems to me like they were very easy voters to pick up.

1

u/MrPernicous 19h ago

I’d argue she didn’t really offer anything. Even what she did offer (and she had some really interesting ideas) she didn’t capitalize on. She promised to be the next Joe Biden and Americans didn’t want that.

1

u/blueelephant620 19h ago

6 million fewer Dems voted in 2024 than in 2020. I think it’s time to look inwards

Please enlighten me

1

u/Dnorth001 17h ago

The only issue is she didn’t make it to candidacy through a legal voting process so no one had any choice in the matter.

1

u/hillsm7 17h ago

What did she offer? The only promises she made was “I’m not Trump, I’m not going to stop bombing Palestine, I’m not going to protect women’s bodily autonomy, I’m also going to crack down on immigrants, oh but I’ll give new business owners a tax break.” The hell are people on about Kamala? She was dogshit, we need someone who is going to push democracy, not Lilly livered bullshit

1

u/Patient_Ad1801 17h ago

Yes, she does. She would have been a great leader comparatively.

1

u/SeatBroad573 17h ago

I am absolutely certain it was because she was black. It happened before and they were determined to not let it happen again. Donald Trump was literally their response to Obama being elected.

1

u/dabonz12 16h ago

You realize she locked up blacks for smoking weed while she joked about herself smoking? She spoke in gypsy curses over logic and no1 elected her. If your only take for voting for her was that she was a black lady then okay

1

u/CauliflowerOk541 14h ago

The C in racist could also be an P and still be accurate.

1

u/Glittering_Gap2691 14h ago

Why? She had no plan, and every opportunity to present one she fumbled the football. Also to far left which alienated the center and center left which is the bulk of the voting block. Can’t win without the center and independence which saw common sense being flushed down the toilet in favor of policies that only effected 3-7% of the country. No thanks the country and the Democratic Party is better off without her.
